This is AP News. I'm Rita Folle. Justin from Israel. Israeli officials say Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has dissolved the influential war cabinet that was tasked with steering the war in Gaza. The move follows a departure from the government of Benny Gantz, an opposition lawmaker who joined the coalition in the early days of the war. He had demanded that a small cabinet be formed as a way of sidelining far right lawmakers in Netanyahu's government. The officials add, going forward, Netanyahu would hold smaller forums with some of his government members for sensitive issues. I'm Charles Villadasma. Here in the U.S., heat and cold are expected this week. Those in the southwest have been warned to take precautions as a heat wave moves east. Heavy rains and flooding could drench the Gulf states and snow-threatened parts of the Rockies and northwest. And in California, wildfire, the AP's Julie Walker, a wildfire burning about 60 miles from Los Angeles and Gorman by the Interstate 5 freeway has more than doubled in size since it began Saturday afternoon. Cal Fire officials say by late Sunday morning the post fire had consumed more than 12,000 acres, scorched two commercial buildings and forced at least 1,200 to evacuate from Hungry Valley Recreation Area. Kanichi Haskett with L.A. County Fire says gusty winds have been causing issues. It makes it challenging basically for water drops, as you can imagine. I'm Julie Walker. Former President Trump denies any wrongdoing and says President Biden knew her Justice Department officials orchestrated the New York case against him for political reasons.
