And in a remarkable moment, a fist bump would Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, Trump's most prominent GOP critic. This tremendous unity in the Republican Party. Trump spent about an hour with Senate Republicans after a similar session with the House GOP. President Trump brought an extraordinary amount of energy and excitement and enthusiasm this morning. The aim was to talk issues and take questions. And Johnson says, prepare for a GOP takeover of the White House and Congress. He's excited. We're excited. We really think this will happen. Sager Magani, Washington. A unanimous Supreme Court preserved access to Mr. Priestown, medication used in nearly 2/3 of abortions in the US last year, AP Supreme Court writer Mark Sherman. Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote the court's decision, in which he said that the doctors who challenged FDA decisions easing access to Mr. Priestown did not have the legal right or standing to sue. Kavanaugh was, of course, in the majority of the court two years ago when it overturned Roe v. Wade. And today's decision said almost nothing about abortion and the right to an abortion. It was all about the law and the concept of legal standing. President Biden and Ukraine's president have signed a long-term security agreement, but the Vladimir Zelensky says to an interpreter-- The question has to be for how long the unity will last. The unity in the United States together with the European leaders. How these are those elections will influence this unity. And a Justice Department report finds police in Phoenix violate people's rights, discriminate against Black, Hispanic, and Native Americans, and Jews excessive force. This is AP News. A drop in wholesale prices last month. The producer price index down 0.2% from April. And the records keep coming on Wall Street. Cessotel has the AP markets report. Wall Street managed to close at more record highs. Thanks largely to gains in big technology companies. The S&P 500 rose to 10% beating the all-time high. It set a day earlier. That came even though most companies in the index fell. Major tech companies did much of the heavy lifting. Semiconductor company Broadcom starred more than 12% after reporting more demand for AI applications. NVIDIA added another 3.5%. That as that composite climbed 3.10%, setting its own record high. The Dow fell 65 points. That's about 2.10%. Treasury yields eased again in the bond market as conviction grew that inflation is slowing enough to get the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates later this year.
