Now, Hunter Biden and the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, the chief political rival of President Biden, have been convicted by American jurors in an election year that has been as much about the courtroom as it has been about the campaign. And congressional Republicans have signaled they will keep going after him in their stalled impeachment effort into the president. Recording surfaced of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito questioning whether compromise between left and right is possible. Hi, Punjwani has more. The conservative justices also heard agreeing with a woman who says the United States should return to a place of godliness. The audio was posted on acts by liberal filmmaker Lauren Windsor. "The search-and-rescue team has found the aircraft near a hill, in the Chigangawa forest, and they have found it completely destroyed with no survivors." This is AP News. For the first time, Pamela Smart is accepting responsibility for the 1990 murder of her husband in New Hampshire. It was a headline-grabbing story. Smart, a 22-year-old high school media coordinator, had an affair with a 15-year-old boy who later shot and killed Smart's husband, Greg. Pamela Smart is now 56 and is serving a life prison sentence. She wants to be released and says a prison writing group helped her to accept responsibility. "I had to acknowledge for the first time in my own mind, in my own heart, how responsible I was, because I had deflected blame all the time." Her last attempt at release two years ago was rejected.
