You know that song, right, you know that it's the intro, it's the sound, the theme of the college football function, that great beat. You know the voice by now right it is CM, AKA CM Funk, AKA Drew's cousin, AKA Mr. Studio Grandma, AKA Mr. Perfect. It's CM, the host of the college football function here on another lovely beautiful day, right? I know football is so long away. It is the end of May, early June, I'm not going to say what day it is, but by the time this comes out, it'll more than likely be June, we're getting there guys. You know it just felt like Michigan just won the national championship a few months ago, but it was technically almost six months ago and June and July are don't get me wrong are some of the hardest months to get through, especially in Texas, you know, officially summer doesn't start for another couple of weeks I think, but here in Texas summer usually goes from May all the way to like September. We really get four or maybe five months of summer in Texas and it's pretty rough, you know average 98 to anywhere over 108 degrees every single day, you know and it's hot, but at least where I live, I live in the northern part of Texas, it's more of a dry heat, it's kind of like, it's good, I don't like the humidity, I'm not a big fan of South Texas or being around water because you kind of feel sticky, I hate how the air feels heavy, I do not like that, I am not a fan of the humidity at all, so if you are a fan of humidity, I ain't knocking you at all, you know do your thing, especially or even if you know you live in the mountains, you live in the north part of the United States like you know double J out there big shout out on me, where your winners can be four or five months long, you understand that feeling, you know getting 12 inches of snow in two days, you know what I'm saying, we don't get 12 inches of snow in Texas in two years, you know it's just depending on where you live, but summer's rough, you know, but it's even more rough especially here in about a couple of weeks when basketball and hockey wrap up, you know then it's I am full fledged into baseball, I would probably say baseball is probably my third, fourth favorite sport, it would be my number one sport when I played it, I used to play a little baseball back in my day as well, I was kind of an athlete, anything I did I was, I like to think I was pretty decent at and baseball was a sport, I kind of wish I would have dived more into I chose football over other sports when I was growing up because it was kind of hard to do multiple sports in high school, so I pretty much just went full fledged into football and I regret it because I do love baseball, I love to play baseball, now watching it, don't get me wrong they've changed the rules, it goes a lot faster, it's exhilarating to be wrong and being at a baseball game, absolutely the best, if you live near a pro baseball team, maybe even triple A, double A, go and watch those games, I know up there in Amarillo, you know actually my hometown, they have a triple A team there, you know it's called the what is the poodle, sod poodles, yeah and it's a beautiful stadium, I've yet to be in it you know but go and catch baseball game, it's fun most of the time it's not that expensive but like I said when basketball hockey in I've got to dive right back into baseball, I just can't watch it all 162 games, I think baseball is, that's the worst part about baseball is, season's too long, you could be you know 10 wins and have 30 losses at this point in time in your season and you could still make the playoffs, you know it really doesn't matter, what your record is the first couple months of the season because you can get trades and so on and so forth, but like I said I will dive head first back into baseball whenever this season's over my sports season I should say and watch my Rangers, you know the defending champs right now and I got a couple of other teams as you know if you listen to the last show, are vying for another championship that's you know bringing back to Texas, you know the Dallas Fort Worth Arlington area, my Dallas stars are still in the Western Conference Finals, it's tied 2-2 right now with the Edmonton Oilers, I mean a lot of people aren't hockey fans, I know there's a lot of people out there that probably think hockey is kind of barbaric, kind of boring, can't really see the puck, that was just another sport I really really wish I could have played, but you know being in Texas there's not much ice in Texas you know I'm saying but I love me some stars and hopefully they pull out these next couple wins and make it to the Stanley Cup because like I said before it is my favorite trophy in all of professional sports, love that trophy and I would love to see my Dallas stars hold that thing up because it's been a long time it's been since I was a young kid, since I saw my Dallas stars and Mike Badano and Turco and all those other guys hold up that trophy, but we are in the finals, the finals have been set, the finals were actually set last night, my Dallas Mavericks finished off the Minnesota Timberwolves and set up a date with Destiny right, you get the Boston Celtics in the NBA finals, it is me, CM going up against Mike Ritter, the Boston Celtics alum, I'm not real sure why he's a Boston Celtics fan, I'm not really sure why he's an Atlanta Falcons fan, there's a win, you live in Texas, I know it's kind of crazy, I'm a Carolina Panthers fan but I live in Texas, I would love to talk to you about that but I think we're going to try to get a collab episode coming out probably next week, hopefully right before the finals start and have a little two scoops of hoops with the two guys that are playing each other, you know for that Larry O'Brien trophy, my Mavericks against his Celtics is going to be awful fun, it's going to be a hell of a matchup I truly believe so that was, the Celtics are just one of those teams every year they do what they need to do, you know they get the number one seed, great players all the way around, great run franchise as well, you know they have over I don't know a hundred championships, you know I'm just being sarcastic but I mean you think of basketball and you think of the Boston Celtics, you think of the Los Angeles Lakers, you know so on and so forth, you live in Texas, it's the Spurs and Mavericks and definitely not a Spurs fan, you know I am a Texas Tech Red Raider fan so I am definitely not a Texas Longhorns fan or a Texas A&M fan, in Texas you're born, you're kind of born into fandom, I wasn't born in Lubbock but I was raised a Red Raider, you know I went to games when I was a kid, War Red and Black proudly and then I started watching other sports became a you know Stars fan, started being a Mavericks fan as long as I can remember I will probably say when Jason Kidd first played with the Dallas Mavericks and I do believe that was the mid 90s I think which am all Mashburn and Sean Bradley, there was a little ragtag group and then we got Steve Nash and of course Dirk Novitsky, the greatest I think four in player ever even though Luca is kind of coming for that crown right now and I would say the same thing about Jokic, you know the Joker but ever since Dirk and Steve Nash joined the team, I really loved the Dallas Mavericks, I of course I watched him but I fell in love with him about that time so well over 20 years maybe even 30 I have been following those Mavericks and my stars, so like I said Mavericks vs Celtics and the NBA fan I will start next week, like I said I hope to get Mr. Ritter to do a collabo with me, talk the finals, really dive into it, what match ups he is looking forward to, of course get a prediction, I know he is going to say the Celtics, I am going to say the Mass and I am not going to talk much more about it to be perfectly honest with you, I want to save some of that good stuff for that episode because I do believe that is going to be a fun listen to, it is going to be fun, it is always good collabing with Mr. Mike Ritter and talking you know not just football, maybe we even talk a little bit of college football, I might want to interview him and ask a couple of questions about you know him being an Oklahoma Sooners fan and yet again a guy that lives in Texas, I know Norman is not real far from Amarillo but I would like to ask him how he became an Oklahoma Sooners fan so hopefully you guys tune into that, maybe he will ask me some questions and you guys can get to know us just a little bit better on a personal level because I feel like I have said before I have a script I have everything I want to talk about but I always feel I want you guys to just get to know me on a personal level, I am not a robot I am not something that just talks football and talks basketball, I kind of want to let you peek behind the curtain a little bit you know, show that CM is a human and he is normal and you know he eats pizza and drinks coffee and you know, I don't like eggs, there you go, I have never liked eggs, I can cook them, don't get me wrong but I haven't eaten an egg probably since I was a baby and ever since then I have never touched it, I know I got a lot of shit from my girl, I got a lot of shit from my family and I tell people that when I am you know they ask me those questions and I get this weird look but it just is what it is, I can't eat it, I can't eat it, not at all but like I said I have talked too much already, let's go stars finish off the oilers and I will be a very very happy camper because it is going to be nice to you know, for the next couple of weeks watching you know the Mavs and Celtics one night and then the next night changing the channel and watching my Dallas stars hopefully win the Stanley Cup and like I said I have been spoiled lately with my Rangers winning the Commissioner's Trophy you know in the Major League Baseball last year and hopefully my other couple of teams will win you know like I said it has been very good on CM sports world lately especially you know like I said my Panthers have been crappy so I kind of you know need a little bit of uplifting going on right and it gives me something to not think about I don't have to think about my poor Panthers till a September right but like I said I've been jawjacking enough that was my little two scoops of hoops get to no CM a little bit better hot ice whatever you want to call it and a UFL is wrapping up to as well so hopefully you guys are paying attention to that like I said it scratches my itch it doesn't really satisfy me you know like it should it's kind of like a half-assed hand job it gets the job done but I'm not exactly gonna you know smoke a cigarette after you know you know like completely enjoy it you know I know it was a weird tangent but moving on we are doing college football today last time I talked to you guys it was big 10 time we were talking about that monster gigantic conference that's just like I said I think it's you put them and the SEC right next to each other I think the top four or five big 10 teams could hang with the top four or five teams from the SEC I truly believe that you know adding Oregon Washington USC those are some juggernauts and you already have Ohio State you already have Michigan Penn State can beat your after any given week so can Wisconsin Iowa you know I want to the best defensive teams for the past decade I'd probably say with Kirk Ferrance that conference is amazing and I cannot wait I do believe they have rights to I want to say NBC this year they signed a new contract so I do believe on NBC they're going to have a Saturday night game that's just going to be a big 10 game so that's actually be very fun I cannot wait it's gonna be some great matchups every week could be you know a gauntlet you know our gauntlet a prime time matchup I should say you know every year in the big 10 there's one game to look forward to you know Ohio State Michigan or Penn State's wide out now you got Oregon going to Penn State you got Washington going to the horseshoe I'm not saying that's what happened this year but potentially that's what's going to happen you know you're going to have to how you're gonna have harder schedules you're gonna have one year where you're going to go to probably three or four of the hardest places to play in the country and you could have two really good teams coming to your house that year like I said it's going to be a great year for college football in general but Big Ten football is just that much better you know it's it's they're up there with the SEC but we're taking a little step back we're going kind of into ACC country we're gonna talk about the big 12 I would probably say the fourth best conference you know I hate to say it it's just it's kind of lost its luster I know the ACC is very top heavy you have the Clemson and the Florida States running that conference for the past 10 15 years with teams like North Carolina kind of interjecting everyone's from all NC State so on and so forth but the big 12 of course is getting a facelift as well but the two big boys everybody knows Oklahoma Texas left for greener pastures you know they saw dollar signs and they decided to run I don't blame them those are two teams that you know for the past I think it's 96 when the big 12 is really instilled that was a team the way was one of those two teams you know that was making it to the big 12 you know championship game almost every year I know it's every once in a while you'll throw in a Baylor or a K state or Oklahoma State you never know there's been some random teams to win the big 12 but like I said for a while now it's been Oklahoma and Texas of course being the faces of the conference they were a big fish in a little pond and now they go from being big fish to a little pond to being big fish in an ocean they got a deal with the likes of Bama's and Georges and the old Misses and Missouri's and you know Bama's and Jordan I think I've already said all those things but like I said there's a bunch of good teams in the SEC and all those other all those middle teams kind of like I said about the Big Ten the Penn State's and the Wisconsin's of the Big Ten there's a couple of those in the SEC as well you got your Missouri's your old Misses I think Bama takes a step back this year I don't think Bama's going to be as good as they have been you know like I said for the past 20 years I think with Nick Saban leaving that team's gonna look a lot different could they take a step up maybe Saban was kind of holding them back a little bit past couple years maybe but their schedule is very very tough this year and I can't I will break their schedule down for sure at a later date of course during the summer I'm gonna go back to these conferences and give you some more schedules to break down and stuff but like I said talking about the Big 12 losing OU in Texas is going to hurt I mean it really is we're losing money I know adding a couple of teams this year and potentially down there down the line I would love you know to add a to lane you know I wouldn't mind adding some other teams that maybe some SEC teams that don't want to be middle of the pack in the SEC anymore maybe they say hey man we're tired of the SEC we're tired of being you know five or six wins every single year and let's go to the Big 12 maybe win seven or eight I could see Texas A&M doing that Texas A&M left you know the Big 12 a while back because they got tired of Texas is being in Texas is shadow and here comes Texas again so I wouldn't be surprised if A&M ever did that teams like a Missouri they left the Big 12 a while back and who's to say they can't come back Colorado was joining the Big 12 this year and they already left it's almost like dating an ex you know you're like well sorry uh we had 14 14 teams last year uh goes to 16 this year in 2024 and on hopefully like i said get a couple of more in the next couple of years let's make this you know a super conference uh it comprises of course of Baylor the Baylor Bears down there in Waco the BYU Cougars just joined fresh face they're going into their sophomore year this you know they just came into this league in 2023 same with UCF University of Central Florida the Knights uh 2023 as well along with Cincinnati the Bearcats uh 2023 as well and Houston the Cougars they also joined us in 2023 as well going into their sophomore seasons Iowa State the Cyclones are also in this conference the Kansas Jayhawks the Kansas State Wildcats the Oklahoma State Cowboys the TCU Horn Frogs joined back in 2012 Texas Tech my Red Raiders and West Virginia another team that came with TCU that year in 2012 to join a better conference i hate to say at the big east well it's kind of falling apart at that time and same with Mountain West you know and we joined in West Virginia and TCE joined the big 12 conference and they've helped i really truly believe so TCU has you know just played for the national championship a couple years ago and i think West Virginia is uh just a few steps away from uh making some noise not just in the conference but maybe even in college football playoff noise uh but we did add a few members of course like i said Colorado uh and X is coming back um they're you know with the Pac-12 just kind of falling apart underneath their feet they kind of needed to grab a hold of something and you know climb up it you know and the big 12 which just happened to be there through them or rope and here comes prime time and shooter Sanders too you know maybe get a little more light on the big 12 this year uh you know with Texas and OU leaving we need some some flash we need some bang you know we need to get some cameras on these games because i do believe this is still a good conference uh the Utah Utes are joining this year as well uh a team that's been formidable i would say a powerhouse in the Pac-12 uh a team that i do believe with Kyle Whittingham has had a winning season ever since he's been there and i do believe he's averaging ten wins a year when he's you know coaching when he's on the sideline i mean that is that's a bonus i mean i know it's those shoes are gonna need to be filled of course by OU and Texas and those are really huge big shoes to fill but Utah can kind of fit in them you know just for a little while they're a prominent team i do believe they're a good team great fan base like i said they've done a lot of good things for college football the past couple of years and they're winners we got the two Arizona schools the wild cats and the sun devils look at Arizona one of the darlings of college football last year a team that was really reeling off wins at the end of the year and you know i do believe they played Oklahoma and their bowl game and ended up beating Oklahoma so it was kind of poetic justice it's like hey welcome to the big 12 and you know see you later big 12 type of game and uh but Arizona kind of loses its luster this year because of jet fish leaving to go to uh Washington so uh gonna see be exciting to see what Arizona's got for the big 12 i know my Texas tech team plays them this year and i cannot wait for that game and then of course the sun devils uh you know not gonna say too too much about them i know it's uh i think of sun devils i think of pat tillman i think of uh jerry no jerry mcguire uh i can't think of his ride tiddwell uh you know the star wide receiver in the movie you play it at Arizona state it you know i'm a sun devil baby you know and it's a it's a costo crowd i quite fondly remember my Texas tech team going over there i don't know when it was five, ten years ago and just getting annihilated by kaolin belodge i do believe that was his name he scored seven touchdowns on us i think running back and uh like i said that that game lives in infamy if you're a college football fan you every one of us has that one game maybe even more than one game that you just you shudder when you think about it just because it was just a horrible game you literally played probably the worst game you've ever seen and it was just embarrassing an embarrassing loss call it what you see but i do believe this is a a formidable conference i i would probably rank it fourth because we don't have that blue blood you know to lead the way you know to be leaders of this conference uh do we have a bunch of uh it's hard to describe you know there's no captain america on this uh you know conference it's a whole bunch of you know scarlet witches and quick silvers and you know there's no wolverine in other words you know there's no professor x there's no magneto it's just a bunch of x-men you know just a bunch of random teams don't get me wrong i'm not shooting on any of these teams there's some really really good teams i do believe oklahoma state uh kansas states up there i think utah arizona come in first year they have a really good shot at winning you know there this conference day one how cool would that be that would definitely send a message to the old big 12 that we you know you better bring it uh there's like i said there's still a lot of good teams i do believe west virginia takes a step forward this year um maybe tcu comes back to prominence you know that's a team that you just can't count out ever you know they just played in the national championship two years ago kind of fell off a little bit of course they lost a lot but uh that's still a team i do believe that good makes a noise uh be why you yet again another team that's pretty scary good you go to provo that's a hard place to play you know real beautiful view uh i love how this conference sets up iowa states and other one of those teams uh you go to iowa state november you might as well chalk that up as a loss you know especially if they're good and like i said this this conference we're we're going to beat each other up we really are this is my conference you know like i said you know being a texas tech greater avenue and talked about them uh but i'm not falling for the hoop law this year uh every year it's always you know who did we bring in and uh uh who's coming back and you know you at being a fan you want to say hey i want to win the conference next year and i love the way this team sets up i think we can do it i'm not going to do that this year i'm going to be i'm going to stay off the kool-aid can my team have a really good year absolutely do we got some good players absolutely we're getting a whole um facelift at my stadium like i said i can go to my backyard and i can see the stadium from where i live the texas tech jones stadium and i can see it or put it in this beautiful you know south end zone project spinning over i don't know how many millions of dollars screens and a whole new setup it looks badass it's going to be a great environment kind of closes it off definitely a loud place to play too as well a lot of people will say they do not like coming to love it to play in the jones because it is a loud place and especially at night you know after we've been drinking all day but like i said gonna be a fun fun team i didn't even talk about the kansas j-hox a team that you know has made a little bit of noise past couple of years uh you know a team that uh i do believe they won eight or nine games two years ago and i think they won eight or nine games last year uh there's going to be some teams like an i'm not even talking about Cincinnati ucf houston colorado who knows colorado might take that step forward this year i i know there's going to be a lot of eyes on colorado uh you know is it the right kind of eyes no but you know if uh colorado's on tv you know you probably watch i know i'm a sucker for it too i'm not gonna lie especially in that last year when those couple of games at the first of the year they were just reeling off wins you know knocking off tsu with opening game of the season you know the raining runners up that was a statement you know what i'm saying and um uh colorado does come to love it this year you know and i really hope i get to go to that game but uh gonna be fun like i said uh it's gonna be an interesting conference but until someone wins this conference year after year two out of three you know uh four out of six so on and so forward this conference is gonna get kind of left on the wayside you know it's eyes are gonna be on big ten eyes are always on sec and even a cc but i still believe this is still a deep conference and it's going to be they're gonna beat each other up i do believe so these are all a bunch of b b plus teams there's a couple of c's i do believe you know i hate to shit on you know uh houston uh maybe even colorado uh but can any of these teams reel off some wins you know maybe get a ballgame absolutely but like i've been doing with all these other conference breakdowns i bring up the you know the champion uh of the conference the year before or the national champion for the year before uh the Texas Longhorns are gone uh they won their last big 12 you know championship uh their last year so uh i cannot talk about them right now i will definitely talk about them at a later date you know for of course because there's a lot of SEC schools i definitely want to dive into but i thought i do the Oklahoma State Cowboys the uh silver you know they got the silver they played the uh the Texas Longhorns last year in the big 12 championship and lost but you know i do believe it's still a very good team uh Mike Gundy has been at you know up in still water for a long time now uh he's actually one of the longest tenured coaches in the nation uh at one alma mater and this is a guy who gets it done still water is a hard place to recruit to especially when you have the likes of oklahoma you know in your same state you know you have to contend with the Texas Tech Red Raiders and uh those Dallas teams even the Texas Longhorns uh it's hard to recruit to still water he'll tell you that but he's getting these players in honestly the Oklahoma State Cowboys have one of the best players in the nation coming back next year and if you ever want to watch one of the best running backs in the country this coming up here watch ollie gordon this guy is no fucking joke just dude has that marshal land she just wants to run through a motherfucker's face you know i'm saying i truly believe this is a dope walker type running back and uh if oklahoma state is going to have the year that a lot of people are expecting you know nine ten win season and having a spot and the big 12 championship ollie gordon is going to have to do it he's gonna have to have him on the put his the team on his shoulders but let's start off with their first game of the year august 31st i do believe it's south Dakota state i just have sd state right here written i think it's south Dakota i think it's the jackalopes i don't think this is going to be a walkthrough i don't think this is going to be as easy a game as a lot of people are going to expect every once in a while these division two schools i do believe they they've been contending for national championships in the fcs if i'm not mistaken i'm thinking if i'm thinking about the same team this could be close i do believe oklahoma state does win but this could be a 3124 type game don't be mistaken if south Dakota state the jackalopes i want to say it's jackalopes hang on hang with these oklahoma state cowboys because a lot of strange shit happens week one you saw it last year who would have predicted Colorado going to fort worth to beat the horn frogs uh that game i would probably say not a lot of people so uh don't be surprised if this is an upset or at least a close game but i'm not going to give the upset right here oklahoma state wins that game august 31st september seventh the first true test and i'm not even saying the last game was in a test uh that could be an eye opening game right there but they welcome in the arkansas razorbacks that's a pin state that is a Wisconsin of the sec they kind of got blended out they were a middle of the pat team and the sec and here comes ou in texas you kind of get knocked down a notch this is going to be a huge game oklahoma state in arkansas sec versus big 12 hey sec usually flex flexes their muscle on the big 12 it's they flex their muscle everybody but last couple of years when there was an sec team versus a big 12 team also time the sec team won and sometimes it was against the ou's and the texas of the day just not going to go there but i think if they played in arkansas arkansas would win but they're playing instill waters definitely a good home field advantage very close it feels like the the stands are on you they have the paddles and it's it's really annoying and i don't like oklahoma state i call them Xerox you they do the guns up they have a cow boy they have a someone that rides a horse they've taken a lot of what texas tech has had over the years and kind of made it their own and it's really annoying i'm definitely not a fan of oklahoma state but i give them their props like i said when i do this show i can't be biased you know i have to talk about these teams that they what they deserve but like i said arkansas goes to still water the seventh of september and gets the win there arkansas loses sorry if i confuse anybody september 14th this is a usual game this is like a rivalry game they play almost every year they play the Tulsa golden wave no i don't man i'm blanking on that the Tulsa something i didn't that shows you what kind of team Tulsa is i think they're a sun belt type team or you know mac i can tell you but it's a rivalry game Tulsa's in oklahoma and you got still water and it's big brother versus their conference season and it's a doozy uh they welcome in the utah youth like i said i talked about a little bit earlier utah is going to come in day one and they are not hoping to win a big 12 championship they are expecting to win a big 12 championship and i do not see i'm not arguing with it either they have a good team if cam rising is back again for his 12th year it seems like and he's a guy that's definitely been hurting with injuries uh you got cola winning him you have a shot like i said the utah youth are no joke that's gonna be tough i'm gonna give oklahoma state the win right there september 21st give utah a welcome to the big 12 type moment uh saying hey you know we want to run this conference right now so utah loses right there september 21st going 4 and 0 they're forced for games september 28th this is another tough game they take a trip to is it man hatton yeah man hatton they play the k state walkouts definitely another team class class of the big 12 a team that puts together great teams uh kleiman took over for uh bill snider a couple of years ago and it's almost like they didn't miss a beat uh they are a team that don't don't beat themselves uh they play great ball good defense uh just a great stand-up program right when you think of class you think of k-state uh they don't do stupid penalties you're not gonna see k-state players fighting you know a visitor team or so and so this is just a team that is a lunch pail team very quiet they clock in they clock out they do their job uh don't need you know paths on the back they know what they're doing they get the job done almost every single year period but mmm go into k-state man ah that's a tough place to play so i gotta give k-state that upset all right i'm probably gonna say upset but these two teams could be ranked at the time but go in a k-state i do believe Oklahoma state loses that game September 28th October 5th yet again another tough game west virginia goes into still water i think this is a scary team um i think no brown is finally getting his feet wet up there in west virginia country and uh oh sorry i gotta burn uh west virginia made a little bit of noise last year uh and you know do they fall back or do they take a couple more steps forward we will see but west virginia is going to be a good team i truly believe so this year so ought to be a very interesting game but with the k-state loss the week before uh they get right this is a get right game they beat west virginia october 5th october twelfths are by that's a great buy uh you've had utah k-state in west virginia three weeks in a row uh those and noble shit Oklahoma state that could be three losses in a row you talk and walk into still water and beat you go into k-state go into manhattan hard place to play west virginia coming to your house that team can beat you too those are the three key games for the Oklahoma state Cowboys that year so or this coming up here that by week october twelfth perfect place for it october 18th this is actually a friday night game it took a trip to byu to go to provo i'm not sure if they played byu last year but uh that's not an easy place to play i mean it's really bears as of late and uh waco's a hard place to play too as well but this could be a bad year for the baylor bears and i see it october 26th then go into waco and beating the baylor bears remember second come home welcome in the arizona state sun devils another team i would not be surprised in december when i look at the big 12 standings and i see the likes of houston baylor um maybe a sincinati uh colorado and of course arizona state uh they're one of the they're the ucla of the teams joining the big 12th you know you had the washington you know uh huskies organ ducks use trojan is joining the big 10 and they just dragged along ucla that's kind of like what i feel about arizona state colorado could be a good program utah is a good program arizona is a good program arizona state hitting you gotta roll with red right but uh yeah they beat my Texas Tech Red Raiders November 23rd last game of the season this is another Friday night game November 29th they go to Colorado go to Boulder I put a question mark and a T next to this game because this could be a trap game you know having two losses right here uh called we don't know about Colorado either Colorado can be 11 and 0 at this point and that would make it a great game you know a 9 and 2 team going up against a 10 and 1 team this could be big 12 championship aspirations but this could also be a 2 or 3 win Colorado at this time and Oklahoma State just runs through them or Colorado has that one get more the best game of the year and knocks off a top 15 ranked Oklahoma State do not know I really don't know at all but I got to give him the win depth chart uh it has to go to the Cowboys I got I'd like Mike Gundy over prime I'm not a big prime guy I don't like some of the things he's been doing at Colorado wouldn't be surprised if he gets in trouble at some point in time he has to be doing something wrong and I'm not saying that because I want something bad to happen because I don't like him I'm a huge prime time fan I love them for the dirty birds and you know Atlanta Braves those Cowboys love the player they don't like him as a coach and sometimes you know those Ricky only been in the you know game a what you can and can't do in college football and like I said I hope he does everything right because I don't wish ill will on anybody I'm not that kind of person but Dion just one of those guys he just rubs me the wrong way as a coach that's all I'm gonna say but moving on we get the win right there we Oklahoma State gets the win right there November 29th Friday night at Boulder to play the Colorado buffaloes that puts them 10 and 2 I'm gonna put question mark CFP but I'm gonna say contender you know a big 12 contender I think two losses age like I said it depends on what TCU does their one loss and then K state does you know if K state goes undefeated you know they would play in a in the championship and if TCU only has one loss too as well you know it'd go heads head to head and of course they would get the spot over Oklahoma State but we shall see 10 and 2 I this is a tough tough schedule I can see him losing Arkansas Utah remember that Utah uh K state West Virginia those three games back to back to back they could lose all three of those I could easily see it and uh send Oklahoma State you know still water in flames uh that's the team that wins eight or nine games every single year right Gundy could be coaching for his job you know come October uh you never know uh you never know but I still think it's a good team I do believe Ollie Gordon's hell of a hell of a running back one of the best running backs in the country one of the best running backs in the big 12 easily uh like I said very confusing it's uh you never know what these big 12 schools right uh moving on my next team is K state the Wildcats like I've said I I've been in admiration for the K state Wildcats for the longest time I've always a big Bill Snyder fan uh Warren wearing the Cortez's man just Kansas State was a horrible horrible program long time ago I mean they were the uh I don't know who would compare them to the Vanderbilt's uh Vanderbilt of the college football just being walked on every single year maybe winning one or two games every single year in Watts Bill Snyder and he changed that program he turned them into prominence and he really did you know winning big 12 titles going to big bowl games uh he has the stadium named after him uh they're the epitome of what you want your program to be you want your program to be compared to a K state run the right way teams don't beat each other up you know you don't get stupid penalties you don't you know get in trouble you know there's just a lot of things that go into the K state program like I said they're just blue collar that's just what they remind you know lunch pill type team go to work don't need no pats on the back they get the job done well let's get into their schedule shall we August 31st is their first game you uh University of Tennessee Martin I want to say that's who that is like I got UTM right here uh yeah I want to say it's University of Tennessee Martin August 31st don't matter uh that's a small school that's a team that's going to get $250,000 to go to Bill Snyder stadium and get that L. September 7th this is a big game I think this is a huge game for K state they take a trip to New Orleans to play the Tulane Green Wave if you've been listening to college football for the past couple years you know I have a soft spot for the Tulane Green Wave I love Tai Jay Spears I like Michael Pratt I want to see what he does in the NFL game this year Tulane's one of those teams and you're going to New Orleans in September that's going to be a muggy hot mess there's the upset right there calling it Tulane Beats K state September 7th gets to the first loss September 13th is their first conference game it's a Friday night game as well Arizona uh they welcome in the Arizona Wildcats like I said another team I would not be surprised in December is holding up that big 12 championship trophy if and they have some great pieces they have a hell of a quarterback they have a good damn good receiver there can't wait to talk about the Arizona Wildcats at some point in time but Arizona loses that Tulane game kind of you know I've said before you learn more from a loss than you do for a win you kind of get your butt kicked you kind of waking up you kind of practice a little bit harder like I said you you run just a little bit harder you bust your ashes a little bit more and you take it out on Arizona that is a win right there for the K state Wildcats September 13th against Arizona on a Friday night September 21st is their next game they take a trip to BYU to play a provo the cougars man this is another team like I said got a star next to it got a T next to it and I got a question mark next to it I don't know how good these BYU cougars are but uh K state is better I would say and they beat the BYU September 21st September 28th Oklahoma State as I just did the cowboy schedule I'm doing the Wildcats schedule and like I said K state gets the upset over the Okey State Cowboys September 28th so I have to incorporate that into this schedule October 5th is their buy weeks for these K state Wildcats October 12th good get right game go to ball go to Boulder to play the Colorado buffaloes on the like I said question mark here don't know how good Colorado is at that state if they're playing Colorado early that could be a good thing uh getting Colorado late uh you never know uh let's see here okay sorry about that I had to take a phone call um I do believe October 12th yeah talking about uh Kansas State going to Colorado don't know but I got to give K state the benefit of the doubt I do believe they're the better team October 19th next game they take a trip to west Virginia oh that's a tough place to play man and if it's a night game oh lord um gonna be tough I truly believe that is gonna be a tough tough game um I'm gonna give them a loss right there October 19th going to west Virginia K state loses like I said west Virginia could be a sleeper team and the bit 12 this year October 26th rivalry game rivalry weekend against the Kansas Jayhawks um as of late uh Kansas can put uh you know Kansas isn't just a basketball school they put together a couple of really good years in football and uh this is a lot better game than a lot of people are going to admit I'd probably see if it was in Lawrence at in Kansas's home stadium I would give Kansas probably more of a shot for the upset but K state you look at the overall record uh K state's kind of owned Kansas probably the past 15, 20 years and I don't think it changes right here either Kansas Jayhawks lose October 26th to the K state Wildcats November 2nd they take a trip down to Houston to play the Cougars uh yet again I'm not going to shit on the Cougars I hope they have a good year uh tech don't play tech doesn't play in this year so I hope they have a good year you know what I'm saying but uh uh they don't stack up well against K state K state gets the win November 9th is their next buy uh good place for a buy you know I had a couple of hard games in the middle of the other buy or after the other their first buy sorry go on to Colorado go into west Virginia rivalry game against Kansas this buy is actually a really good place to have their second I remember 16th they welcome in the Arizona state Sun Devils uh their schedule really uh is front mid loaded and easy back loaded I should say if K state uh struggles their first five or six uh games of the year like I predict that they do these are their get right games uh the Kansas the Houston Arizona state uh they they're going to beat Arizona state November 16th they got two weeks to prepare for the sun devil so uh there's no excuse uh after a buy to lose to a lesser program sorry I remember 23rd they welcome in Cincinnati yet again another team you know new to the big 12 but I don't know I put a question mark next to it so put a t next to this it could be a trap game you know that Arizona state game the week before you kind of you know lolly gag to practice a little bit you don't hit it as hard could be a trap but K state beats Cincinnati November 23rd November 30th and you know end of the season last game of season it's a rival this is far again this is Iowa state going to IAM's Ames Iowa woof you don't want to go to Ames Iowa in November period that is a hard place to play when it's getting cold home field advantage is up there and there's just Ames magic I don't know what it is strange shit happens there they're kind of like the lubbock Texas of Iowa you go there on a random night in November and a top five team can lose and I'm telling you it's happened before ask the Oklahoma Sooners ask the Texas Longhorns you don't want to play names Iowa November period so here we go yet again another L go to Iowa state and lose looks like nine and three I know no playoff I don't think a three loss big 12 team even makes it to the big 12 championship let alone the CFP tough maybe both these two teams tough schedules man that at two lane game a lot of people will look over that game and think oh you know K state you know should breeze through the two lane green wave you got another thing coming the two lane green wave have I want to say 20 wins the past two years and you don't not want to go to New Orleans at the end of August early September that is some muggy nasty shit and Kansas is not used to that uh Kansas state sorry going to BYU having Arizona come to your house have an okey state come to your house go into Colorado going to west Virginia if K state comes out of this schedule with at least 10 wins maybe even 11 there's no reason why this team can't be in the college football playoff there's no freaking way same thing with Oklahoma State I know this this conference is just kind of lackluster it's kind of lost its flame but there's some really good teams in this and this conference so uh pay attention to the big 12 conference you know like I said I mean a big 12 guy of course I love the big big 10 you know big fan of the SEC but big 12 is my my conference you know that it's all the teams that are close to where I live you know it's my team is in this conference of course I'm going to pay attention a little bit more to the big 12 than I would the big 10 now not this year definitely going to pay attention to the big 10 for sure because this is going to be a knock down drag out slaughter fast but like I said 93 for K state 10 and 2 for the Cowboys or Oklahoma State should be an interesting year like I said I'm definitely going to do Utah definitely going to look into Utah schedule I think it's a team that can come in like I said before day one and potentially potentially potentially you know hold up that trophy in Dallas in December definitely going to do Arizona like I said I I want to look more into Arizona don't really know who their head coach is right now how many players are coming back I really need to look into that definitely going to do my Texas Tech Red Raiders because I kind of have to right look at their schedule
