Trouble is, for many of us this list has a different name - the 'things to be procrastinated' list. Cause once we put an item on the list, it just stays on the list and every time it comes to mind, we're like - It's on the list, we will get around to doing it. Only, we never do.

Your morning ray of sunshine, the Anand-sev Kumar, the things to be done list. We all have this and it's pretty long. From lists, for many of us, this list has a different name. The things to be procrastinated list. Because once we put an item on the list, we decide we have done our job. It just stays on the list and every time it comes to mind, we are like, it's on the list. We will get around to doing it. Only we never do. Anything that is important, anything that can make a manifest difference in the way we live our life, we will always have resistance to do. Could be an account of fear of change, fear of consequences, past baggage or whatever else. Now we may think by putting it on our important list, we are making sure we will do it. But what we are actually doing is pushing it to another time, which is exactly what the fear wants us to do. How about we try another approach? Anything that is important, the minute it comes into our mind, instead of adding it to a list, we do it right away. Make that phone call, send that mail, book that appointment. If it's too large to complete right away, at least begin it, so that the resistance is starting is dealt with. Keep coming back and doing. Thought may lead to action, but more often, it leads to dethring and delay. If action is what is needed, then let's just act. Now, sunshine in your day.
