The last 24 hours have been absolutely huge in terms of breaking news developments. Perhaps the biggest news from last night, fire alarm, puller extraordinaire Jamal Bowman ironically went down in flames. He was beaten by his Democrat challenger, George Latimer, and a blowout in their New York primary. Here's a cover from this morning's New York Post. This is wonderful. Firing squad anti-Israel Jamal Bowman of AOC's Progressive Caucus gets kicked out of Congress stunningly. And I mean that stunningly. Bronx voters put this back in office with 80% of the vote. That's right AOC. The comical clown park salons easily one re-election as Western civilization continues to implode in parts of the nation. But in other parts of the country, civilizational populism is stronger than ever. Lauren Boebert, who moved from the 3rd Congressional District in Colorado, where she had a major scare in 2022. She came within just a hair of losing that. She moved from the 3rd Congressional District to the 4th in Colorado on the eastern side of the state and she won handily. Even MSNBC was calling it an emphatic victory for Laura Boebert. And something even bigger happened in Colorado's 4th District last night. Former Parker Mayor Greg Lopez, who's widely touted by the legacy media as a 2020 election denier. He won the Republican nomination for Colorado's 4th Congressional District special election to finish what's left over from the ultra never-trumper Kenbock's term. Now, if you don't know, Kenbock is one of those scumbag rhinos who abruptly announced his retirement so as to deliberately jeopardize the Republican's majority in the house. He took his never-trumper ball and he went home. And so this former mayor Greg Lopez ran to finish out his term. And the Democrats thought they had a chance on this one. It was a vacated seat. It was a district that had voted for a never-trumper Kenbock. And so they thought they had a shot at this last night. So keep in mind this was not a primary. This was an actual election between a Republican and a Democrat and a Republican MAGA election denier to boot. Take a look at these numbers. The Republican crushed it. He won with almost 60% of the vote. Now, here's the key. Here are what some election analysts are noticing here. Trump won this fourth congressional district back in 2020 by 18 points. Lopez just won that district by over 23 points. That's a five-point shift to the Trump and MAGA candidate from 2020. Now, if that's indicative of the electorate as a whole and that's what we seem to be seeing. I'll show you that in a second. But if that's indicative of the electorate as a whole, since Colorado 4 tends to be a bit of a bellwether, that five-point shift means that Trump would not only win the popular vote in November, he would easily win every single swing state out there. We're talking Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, possibly even New Hampshire, Virginia, and Minnesota. Even the left-wing outlets like Newsweek and Daily Coast are admitting this. They are admitting that Republicans are doing at least 0.4% better in their special elections than in 2020. Now, again, you got to get this. A 0.4 average advantage over 2020 means automatically we win Arizona and Georgia and we're in earshot of winning Wisconsin. With just that advantage alone, it's pretty amazing stuff. But if Colorado 4 holds with a five-point swing, we're talking landslide territory. And keep in mind that cherry on top here is how this five-point shift corroborates the latest poll from the Des Moines Register. Now, if you don't know, the Des Moines Register is considered by many pollsters to be the single most reliable polling outlet out there. They generally poll within the margin of error. They're amazing. Look at this, Ken. In Iowa, which keep in mind was one of the bluest-to-blue states in the nation. They actually voted for Mike Dukakis back in '88. In Iowa, Trump now has a near 20-point lead over Biden. In a four-way race with RFK among others in the mix, Trump leads Biden by an astonishing 18 points. Now, why is that important? It's important because Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania tend to vote the same way. There are exceptions. 88 was one of them. 2020 was another. No question. But generally speaking, as Iowa goes, so Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania go. And here's the key. There is no way that Trump is up by 18 in Iowa without being significantly up in those three other states. At the very least of Trump is up 18 in Iowa, there is no conceivable universe where he loses Wisconsin because demographically they're too similar. And that's the election right there. If Trump takes Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin, it's over. He passes the 270 mark. Now, we're not through. Something else pretty astonishing happened yesterday. But first I do have something really, really, really astonishing to share with you. And as a lot to do with the depression I shared with you some weeks back, you remember that? I was telling you how black-pilled I was when we came under attack from YouTube as our content was labeled harmful content and we were totally and completely demonetized. Guess what, gang? I ain't depressed no more. You may have heard I went away to Utah a couple weeks back and let's just say my team and I are working on something that is absolutely huge. And all I can tell you is that this is going to be one of the biggest positive changes to Turley Talks that will benefit you, my fellow courageous and loyal patriots for years to come. What else happened yesterday? It was so astonishing. Well, the Congressional Republicans appear to have grown a spine. I don't know if it's because of the latest polling or elections or whatever, but Congressional Republicans, the single most disappointing betraying group of morons on the planet actually appeared to suddenly realize that their job is to represent the values, interests, and concerns of the people who vote for him. Not for Ukraine, not for Israel, not in, not Taiwan. No, they're own voters. Here's Speaker Mike Johnson. Finally taking on the legitimacy of the January 6th Committee and coming to Steve Bannon's rescue. Mr. Speaker, I understand there might be a change in position regarding how the House and their stance on the January 6th Committee. And it might be regarding Steve Bannon. And it may have a big impact on, on his contempt case. Tell me what's going on? Yeah, we're working on following an amicus brief and his appellate work there in his case because the January 6th Committee was, we think wrongly, wrongfully constituted. We think the work was tainted. We think that they may have very well covered up evidence and maybe even more nefarious activities. We've been investigating the committee itself. We disagree with how Speaker Pelosi put all that together. We think it violated House rules. And so we'll be expressing that to the court. And I think it will help Steve Bannon and his appeal. So there you have it on the eve of Bannon getting jailed. On the eve, the Democrats are literally jailing their political opponents. Keep in mind Peter Navarro is already in prison. The Republican Congress finally decided to do something to rescue their political allies amidst this blatant banana republic political persecution. They will be filing an amicus brief on behalf of Bannon and his emergency appeal to Supreme Court to stay out of prison. Also, we're getting reports now that as of last night, the bipartisan legal advisory group voted to confirm that the J6 Committee was in fact illegitimate. Remember, Nancy Pelosi would not permit Republicans to select their own committee members, which congressional rules require for a committee. Instead, she cherry picked from among those scumbag rhinos who voted to impeach Trump. It was a kangaroo committee and no one should be going to prison on the basis of such an obvious circus. Here's Matt Gaetz on the significance of the bipartisan legal advisory group. I believe the only way Steve Bannon does not go to jail is if there is a vote at an entity called the Blag, the bipartisan legal advisory group. It is made up of the Speaker of the House, the majority leader, the majority whip, the minority leader, and the minority whip. So the Republicans hold a 3-2 in this. Bannon is going to petition for an on-bunk review of this determination to revoke his bail. When he does, I believe the Blag should and will take a 3-2 vote for the House to seek leave, to file an amicus brief with the on-bunk court that the January 6 Committee was illegitimate. It was illegitimately formed. It was a runaway committee. It did not have a proper minority member. And whether it's Peter Navarro or Steve Bannon, nobody, nobody should be sitting in a jail cell because they would not comply with the absurd musings of a committee unlike any before in our nation's history. Talk me through that again. So he would go to this committee, this 5-person committee, where there's three people or 10 Republicans. If they vote in favor, then they would create what they would do is they would go to the court and say we want to tell the court that it is now the official view of the House of Representatives, that the January 6 Committee was illegitimate. And then Bannon's lawyers could ask the court to take judicial notice of that vote by the Blag, which would then give them a basis to allow his bail to stay in effect. And Republicans can do this with the majority. The majority, the Republicans can do this without even taking a floor vote. Mike Johnson, Steve Scalise, and Tom Memmer can do it. And it is my belief that they are working toward that end as we speak. Oh, wonderful. That's good news. That's been my work. What about Navarro? He deserves the same thing. Yeah, he deserved it yesterday. He shouldn't even be locked up. Should not. So that's exactly what happened last night as I understand a Blag as it's called, voted to affirm the Republicans' position that this was indeed an illegitimate committee and they are appealing to the Supreme Court to make sure no one, no one serves any prison time over this illegitimate committee.
