In New York, a fraud conviction for the founder of a collapsed hedge fund. Lisa Dwyer has details. "The founder of Archigos Capital Management has been convicted of securities fraud and has schemed that prosecutors say cost global investment banks billions of dollars. The jury found Bill Huang guilty of 10 criminal counts. All prosecutors in New York say that Huang and his co-conspirators artificially inflated the values of nearly a dozen stocks before the investments collapsed, wiping out $100 billion in market value along with the company that he created. The indictment says that the investment public did not know that Archigos had come to dominate the trading and stock ownership of multiple companies because it used securities that had no public disclosure requirement at one point Huang and his firm secretly controlled over 50% of the shares of Viacom CBS.
