This is AP News, I'm Rita Falle. Fierce Hurricane Beryl has killed at least four people after slamming a shore in the southeast Caribbean. Now it's barreling across the Caribbean Sea, a Category 5 storm on a path that will take it near Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. The National Hurricane Center's Eric Blake says it looks like it'll weaken. Right now we're forecasting it near Category 3 strength near Jamaica, but we shouldn't get too tied up on the exact number, we have someone certainty. We do expect it to be a significant event with life threatening winds and storm surge for that island. The Biden campaign says there's been no discussion at all about President Biden dropping out of the race for the White House despite his performance in that debate with Donald Trump on Thursday night. In fact, President Biden's challenging Americans to think carefully about who they want in the Oval Office after yesterday's Supreme Court ruling granting presidents brought immunity from prosecution. Now the American people have to do what the court should have been willing to do, but will not. The American people have to render a judgment about Donald Trump's behavior. Donald Trump is now trying to get the guilty verdict in his hush money trial set aside. Trump's lawyers want to set aside his guilty verdict in the New York hush money case in light of Monday's Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity. The letter to judge Juan Marchon seeks permission to file a motion and asks him to delay Trump's July 11th sentencing. While he weighs how the high court's decision could influence the New York case, Trump's lawyers argue that the Supreme Court confirmed their position that some evidence like Trump's social media posts about Michael Cohen should have been precluded because they constituted official presidential acts. Now to that police shooting of a teenager in upstate New York, the AP's Julie Walker. The state attorney general investigating whether a Utica police officer shooting of a 13 year old was justified while police say it was, body cam video shows near way holding a gun that turned out to be a replica, Chief Mark Williams tells W. S. Y. R. They've highlighted additional footage of the teen as he struggled on the ground with police showing the gun in his hand. If you have a bias against police, it's probably not going to change your mind. But if you're open minded, then hopefully all the videos will give you a different perspective. Williams says police stopped way in another teen while investigating a burglary. The community protesting Monday, saying he was profiled because he's ethnic Corinne from Myanmar.
