AP news for this Sunday, June 30th. I'm Jackie Quinn, hurricane barrel strengthened into a powerful category for storm dangerous for residents in the Southeast Caribbean. Get ready for what's going to be a potentially catastrophic storm. National Hurricane Center director Mike Brennan worried about those from Saint Vincent to Grenada. When you get to category for strength, you can see things like total roof damage. Roofs lifted off of homes, exterior wall collapse, trees uprooted. Hurricane barrel has maximum sustained winds of 130 miles an hour. It is not expected to affect the US mainland. Some Democratic Party leaders are said to be wringing their hands behind closed doors, wanting President Biden to step aside, but not Senator Raphael Warnock, who says Biden remains the only alternative to Donald Trump.
