In North Carolina, President Biden seemed to have bounced back from a stumbling, sometimes incoherent debate performance so bad, some Democratic leaders were said to be weighing possible replacements, but key allies like Congressman James Clyburn are standing with Biden. Michigan Congresswoman Debbie Dingle saying Biden stumbles were nothing compared to Donald Trump's words. The opposite of House Speaker Mike Johnson, the Supreme Court has made it harder to charge Capitol riot defendants with obstruction proof needed that they try to tamper with or destroy documents that charges also been brought against former President Trump and former Missouri prison guards charged in the death of a black man. 38 year old, Ethel Moore Jr. died on December 8th, 2023, while in custody at the Jefferson City Correctional Center. Four guards have been charged with murder and a fifth with accessory to involuntary manslaughter. The criminal complaint says the guards pepper sprayed Moore in the face, placed a mask over his face, which inhibited his ability to breathe and lept him in a position which caused his affixiation. The Missouri Department of Corrections released a statement saying that Moore died in a restraint system designed to prevent injury to himself and others. But others find the never-ending process of likes, swipes, taps, and awkward dams that go nowhere to be exhausting. That has led to a phenomenon known as dating app burnout. One clinical psychologist found that about three out of every four people she works with have used dating apps, and anywhere between 80 to 90 percent have expressed feeling fatigue or burnt out at some point. That's due in part because success has never promised with online dating, regardless of if you're looking for a lifelong partner or casual fling, making burnout probably as old as the apps themselves. But these days, burnout may be intensified by the fact that there is an app for just about every part of our daily lives, and that constant connectivity can be too much.
