I have...I have very long things. Long, long towers at the top. Just warning you all. No falling asleep, please. Oh, sweet irony! Live from the Matthew's Brothers Studios. And the question on so many people's minds right now is, can you serve effectively for the next four years? George, I'm the guy to put NATO together. I didn't, that was a lie. I'm the guy that shut Putin down. No one thought could happen. That was a lie. I'm the guy that put together the South Pacific. And that's a lie. What is the truth? I mean...I...I guess...anyway. Bush. Yeah, sure. Look, I mean, if a Lord Almighty cannot say Joe get out of the race and get out of the race and Lord Almighty's not coming down. Oh, well, that's funny because I happen to have Jesus Christ right here. I heard what you were saying. You know nothing of my work. How you ever got to be president of anything is totally amazing. Rump swabs, hacks and moonbaats beware. It's... Holy car. 844-542-42. Was KGP wearing an open blouse? That wasn't a tie. That was an open blouse like that. Yeah, so the text, I looked back. Yeah, her blouse was open. Weird. That's weird. It was a strange configuration, I think is the word I'm looking for. Yeah, especially when you're...you know, it's not like you're dealing with a holiday. You know, Santa Claus has come to the White House. I mean, this is pretty serious stuff. They're trying to, you know, your own party's trying to, you know, throw the guy down the stairs. Yikes. 844-542-442-844-542-442-442-442-442-442. So, let's... Oh, man. I got so many things to get to here. This is from Morning Joe today. Again, he's reading from notes, apparently, because you hear at some points, you can hear that him rustling the notes. He's on radio, so there's no camera. He's just speaking into probably a speaker phone at the White House, maybe even from his iron lung. And so, he's rambling on about the Biden plan here. Cut 5. The Biden plan, which got in Israel for the Gaza Strip, is something that was adopted by the UN Security Council, whether it comes to fruition, it's all for close. We'll see. G-70, but look. I'm not going to explain any more about what I should or shouldn't do. I am running. I am running. It was adopted by the UN Security Council, it was adopted by the UN Security Council, it was adopted by the UN Security Council, it was adopted by the UN Security Council. It was adopted by the UN Security Council, cut 10. But look, even when I was running for Senate, at each time I ran, quite frankly, not a joke. Philadelphia, in particular, got me across the line. No, I'm not joking. Or no, I mean, seriously, organizationally. Is Philadelphia a part of Delaware? I was not familiar with that. Yikes. Cut 7. And I'm reading from the list of live. First of all, he was made up for suckers and losers. I was with the call of the American in the cemetery of World War One, suckers and losers. He was with him? He was with him? Hey, everybody who actually was with him says he didn't say it, but now Joe says he was with him when he said it. Joe heard, it's not here say, Joe heard him say it. Okay. Okay. 4, 4, 542, 42. Lord, let's see. And then, I like the, well, we'll play some more. Olivia, you're next with how we car go ahead, Olivia. Hi, Howie. First time caller. Long time listener. Thank you. You're awesome. Okay. So the VP pick should be America's mayor. What do you mean, honey? It's not, that's not going to happen, Olivia. You know that. But wouldn't it be the best? No, I don't know. He's, he's, he's not really covered himself in glory these last few years, you know, he's when I saw that brown hair dye dripping down his face after the election, Olivia, I kind of, I was, I was not you know, relieved that he was handling the president's legal defense. You know, they're, they're trying to railroad him by disbarring him in New York state in New York City and they've indicted him in these places. These are ridiculous law fair charges, but you know, he's not, he's not the guy for this, for this moment, Olivia, but thanks for the call. Todd, you're next with Howie Car. Go ahead, Todd. Oh, a curiosity. How many more days do you think it'll be until the DNC decides to play the head of a horse and Joe Biden said, but if you woke up, I wonder if we'd even noticed it. But anyway, yeah, here's Sorry, bad infantry there. But here's, here's how the story unfolds. We all know Jill Biden is the one who's holding on to power for her husband. Okay, fine. Let's stipulate that. I think the DNC comes to her one more time, makes an incredible offer and she turns it down again and they say, okay, we can, uh, we'll go back to the drawing board and what they do is they pick up the phone, call the New York Times and say, start releasing the dirt. I'm Joe Biden because I don't know if you've been on Google lately. Google Joe Biden's name. You wouldn't believe the things that come up and you ask yourself, how have I not even heard about this yet? So if Google's releasing it, watch them force her out of the white. I mean, what is it? What's the, I mean, is it the stuff that most of us have heard, you know, about the Chinese dealings, the Ukrainian charges, all the money from all these various third world hellholes that That Hunter was collecting and Jim Biden was collecting. Is it all the same stuff that just the New York Times has never been to report? No, no, no, no, I'm talking about I never until I looked at it until I googled it. I never knew that Joe Biden was the family nanny. I never heard that mention before. Oh, you didn't know that? Oh, yeah, that's that's how that's been out there. Yeah. And then he, how about that? How about that? He had an accident in the first husband's car when he was driving her around. That's another thing. And I also heard that he was with her when his wife died. I now that's a new one on me. I didn't know that one. But, you know, I wouldn't, you know, I wouldn't be surprised. I wouldn't be surprised. Thanks. 844-500-4242. John, you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead, John. Yes. Is this Howie? Yes. Howie. I'm from Plymouth Mass and I'm down the Cape. I'm not too far from the Cape Cod Canal. I'm down here six or seven days a week, walking, etc. And I have made a number of trips over the holiday week back and forth, up route three to, you know, say Plymouth Kingston, Duxbury area, several trips down to the Cape. And I'm calling for two reasons. Number one, the traffic both ways, even today, is horrendous coming off Cape. I mean, it was backed up almost to high end of the other day. But anyhow, in all my trips, I have not seen one. I'm going to say that again. I have not seen one state trooper vehicle on the highway. And if it's not on the highway, I'd be traveling, say, 70 miles an hour on cattle going by me at 85 and 90. So I don't know what a state police are. And they should be around the bridges, helping the situation out. Well, I mean, how would they be helping the situation out, John? Well, I'll give you one example on the Borne Bridge, as you know, coming on the Cape side, there's a rotary. And a rotary, people coming around the rotary, we have the right away, as you know. And it's stopping up the traffic, which is backed up two, three, four, and sometimes four miles or more, coming down route 25 towards the Borne Bridge. There's a state police barracks right there at that circle. There's never a car there. There's nobody directing traffic. And so what happens with traffic backs up for miles? Yeah, I just I don't know what they would be doing directing traffic in a rotary, though. I don't know that that would be a positive thing to have cops directing traffic in a rotary. I think it's just bad driving going on. And nobody works anymore. So they're all out on their it's not that it's it's not that there's there's more cars. It's just that the cars aren't parked somewhere where anyone's working because nobody's working anymore. That's the that's the problem. Thanks for the call. Steve, you're next with how we car go ahead, Steve. How we thanks for taking my call. I really appreciate it. Sure. You know, I I didn't hear this pic called in yet for a VP for Trump. And it's because I work for a living. So I don't get to listen to you all day long. But right now I'm in the car and has anyone brought up Tulsi Gabbard? I love her. I think, you know, I think the, you know, the train has left the station. I, you know, I like to look at her and, you know, she's not bad and she seems to be, you know, be saying all the right things now. But you know, I mean, again, she she was a Democrat for a long time. She she was with Bernie Sanders in 2016 there, you know, people, people wonder how, you know, how sincere she is. Again, she got screwed by Hillary Clinton, you know, driven out of the race accused of being a Russian agent. She it's but she's not she's not gonna be in the mix, Steve. That's just that's just the way it is. But thanks for the call. All right, time now for hate mail Monday. It's time for howie cars hate mail Monday. At this time every Monday we'd like to check out our fan mail, our fan notes, our love letters from the listeners and the readers and to see what they're saying about us, what they're congratulating all of us on me, Grace, Taylor, Jared, everybody at the show. Yeah, and we have a lot. And actually today we got a special submission from your daughter. Yes. I'm not going to read it yet though because I actually wanted to start with the calm that we had just discussed about trooper proctor. But before I say that, I want to let people know that hate mail Monday is brought to you by Northeast Hare Restoration. I can't guarantee you'll be able to hear the sound when you get yours, but there it is. Yeah, it's working. It's magic. So here was the - now you should make it clear how you don't write the headlines. No, I don't. Trooper Michael Proctor's base pay remains $106,588, which is pretty damn good for a dunce who otherwise would be laboring in either the landscaping or the hospitality industry. Yes. Do you understand how people could have read that as a dig at the people in those industries? I worded it. I worded it carefully, I thought. And by the way, he would need a job now in the hospitality or landscaping industries now that he's been suspended without pay. Well, let's read how other people perceived this. One person wrote how he has spent so long eating out of the dumpster at Mar-a-Lago that he's completely forgotten that his ticket was punched, criticizing the condescending elite. He has now won himself. Lose. I think he doth protest too much. Another person said you would have made your - you could have made your point without insulting two entire industries, people that add value to our way of living. They do. They do, but they don't make $146,000 a year, which is what he made last year. Okay. And there were more. I mean, there were 130 comments, so people want to peruse them. That's that's where you can check it out. Now we do have some voicemails as well. Can I get cut one please, Jared? - Time for some more carbonics, geography edition. - Flocking to the US-Mexico border from a country known as a hot bread. - Hot bread? - Hot bread. - Biscus recruitment has skyrocketed. More than 1,500 illegals from Tajikistan. - Tajikistan. - Tajikistan. Tajikistan. Tajikistan. Tajik. - I pronounce it. - My guy I like to pronounce it to Tajikistan, okay? - Hot bread was definitely a Freudian slip, though. You're probably hungry. - I like hot bread. - He loves hot bread. I've never seen him. - Right out of the oven. - He puts a butter on it, slather butter on it, and melts right into the bread. - Now we did put up an Instagram and it was a little tease of what you were gonna talk about in your show. And you were wearing like a lumberjack style shirt. - Yes. - And your daughter wrote into our Instagram and said, please take that shirt away from him. Then we asked, can we include this in hate mail Monday? And she responded, yes. - Which daughter wrote that? - Carolyn. Please take that shirt away from him. - I was cold. I was in the conference room doing something that for hours on end, then I got cold. 'Cause the mailroom manager turned down the heat. - No, you really did, it looked. You know what you looked like there? You looked like Scranton Joe. Like you were cosplaying as a... - I got, I was cold. I get cold now that I've lost since I've lost the weight. - Okay, now here we go. This is one for yours truly. This is cut four. - Disgrace thinks that there's a bartender version of HIPAA. - That there was a joke. I was making a joke today. A bartender called in to talk about meeting Doug Bergum. - Yeah. - And I said, I don't know if there's a HIPAA rule with, can you tell us what he ordered to drink? I know there's an actual HIPAA rule with bartenders. I do think that would be funny though. And one time I went to a restaurant howie and the bartender knows a friend of mine. I was saying, oh, you should've seen when he came in here. He was bombed, he was gone. And I kind of thought to myself, should you be telling me this? This feels like you're breaking some sort of confidentiality. - If someone comes in with a foreign load, you just don't serve 'em, right? You don't spread it around. - You don't call around the town telling everybody about it. All right, let's have cut three. - I hope the howie car radio network has the 25th amendment, phone number boys out of control. He's talking over those people, just called in to give out the number, 'cause somebody else called it. About time we sent him to knitting classes all day long, putting afterwards. - Phone number boy. - I don't know. That guy is, you know, has a very small obsession in his life. Howard, could I give a plug here? 'Cause I am wearing my Moby Dick shirt. - Sure. - And I was off last week. I went to Moby Dick's, it was amazing. Todd Berry did such an awesome job, rolled out the red carpet. And also Dave Henshey, I stayed at Nossa Beach Inn. I really, I felt like you howie. I was hitting all the sponsors and they did not disappoint. They were wonderful. So thank you very much to Dave Henshey at Nossa Beach Inn and Todd Berry at Moby Dick's. - Thank you, we'll be right back with Turtle Boy on this very big day in the care and read case. Somehow we can. (dramatic music) (upbeat music) - Live from the Matthews Brothers Studios. - Eight, four, four, five hundred, forty two, forty two. A big day in the care and read case. Proctor, trooper proctor, also known as proctor, trooper has been suspended without pay from the Massachusetts State Police. Not that surprising once we knew there was gonna be a duty hearing form. Then what is surprising is that the lawyers for Karen Reed, David Janetti and Alan Jackson have filed a motion to dismiss the murder charges and the leaving the scene of an accident charge on the grounds that apparently three jurors have told them that there was a unanimous verdict on both of those counts, but Judge Auntie Bev didn't read it. And so this is, if it's true and it appears to be true, and they've filed sworn affidavits, they've hired a new lawyer to file the motion for dismissal, which because they're gonna have to testify, this is huge, huge news. This is more unprecedented developments in this case. Joining us now to talk about it is Aiden Carney, Turtle Boy. And first of all, Aiden, your mother died last week and the funeral was today our deepest condolences. And thanks for coming on the show on this sad day. - Well, thanks for how we ate. I appreciate that, Alie. You know, I was at the funeral and I got out, checked my phone and all hell had broken loose apparently in the Karen Reid universe. So it's been pretty crazy to say. I mean, it's good news in my opinion. It's mind boggling news. I talked to my attorney, Tim Braille, about it. He's never seen anything like this before, he said. And that there's something called Rule 27, that specifically says that the judge may declare a mistrial as to any charges upon which the jury cannot agree upon a verdict. Provided, however, that the judge may first require the jury to return verdicts on those charges upon which the jury can agree. So if the jury came back and told her that they are acquitting on the murder charge and the leaving the scene of an accident charge, that she has the ability and honestly the duty to, you know, to make that known to the defense and tell them that, okay, well, I mean that's the big one, the murder, right? That's where all the years, right? That's what we're all here for, the whole enchilada, right? And if she's acquitted on that and she gets a mistrial on, you know, a manslaughter, they're not going to retry it on that. They're here for the murder. They're not going to do all this time and effort for a manslaughter case. So the fact that this was hidden from us and not told, it's just mind boggling. I'm not sure who to blame. I don't know, I guess the jurors felt compelled enough to reach out to David Guinetti and Alan Jackson and tell them, hey, by the way, it was 12, nothing in there. We all agreed. She didn't murder him. At least there's no evidence of that. So we all agreed. But she rejected our verdict and just didn't tell you the conclusion that we came to. - Yeah, and it's not like they took them a long time. This was a Monday, a week ago that the mistrial was declared and according to the affidavit that Jackson filed, he got a call from the juror the next day, the next day. - The next day, wow, I mean, that's mind boggling. That is absolutely mind boggling. Not surprising. It's like, you have to wonder, is she corrupt? Like, is she in on this? Like, how could she hear that and make it seem like they, 'cause she made it seem like they hung on all three. Like, this is a three for one, you know? But it clearly was it. The tube, the big one, the murder one, again, they voted to acquit on. Like, what else is there? I mean, that's it. That's what we're all here for is the murder, right? We don't really care the lesser charges. They're not gonna waste all the time and money on those lesser charges. And I heard that that was nine to three anyway. I mean, that's what they're saying. So again, I don't know how they could possibly get her on manslaughter at all either. I don't get that. Either she hit them with the car or she didn't, you know? And if they believe that she didn't hit them with the car, which is what the archer guy said, then you can't convince on any. - Yeah, I don't understand it. And I don't, you know, I guess I could see why she wouldn't want to question each juror. You know, are you hopelessly deadlocked? But I mean, she could have at least questioned the foreman, right? And if the foreman had said, well, we're deadlocked on, are you deadlocked on the murder charge? And he'd said, yes, we're deadlocked. Then someone could have stepped forward and said, no, no judge, we're not deadlocked. I mean, it just seems like this is a big screw up. I mean, what happened? Did she, did she just want to get out, you know, to enjoy her 4th of July, week off early? You know, the 4th of July was on Thursday. This was Monday. - She had to get down to her seaside cottage where Sean McCabe said he was going to bury my corpse after he died with me, I guess. But yeah, I mean, I don't know. You have to wonder too why the juror is like dead, the foreman wrote, like he's obviously a good writer the way he wrote those notes. And you would think he would have put in his notes. Yeah, by the way, we're all set on the murder charge. Mac guilty, but we can't figure out this one other one. Like why wouldn't they specify that in their notes? - Yeah, and another thing they said was, this was in one of the ones where someone was talking, texting back and forth with one of the jurors. And so I guess this is kind of hearsay. So this is not as direct as the juror talking to Jackson, but they said that they were intimidated when the, they called them the Higgins, but they meant the Alberts showed up in court that day, that the entire jury was intimidated by Brian Albert just sitting there staring at them. I mean, that was kind of the point. It's kind of the point, like you better, you know? I mean, that guy hasn't come to a single pretrial hearing, nothing. - Yeah, he also didn't go to the, he also didn't go to the Wake or the funeral of John O'Keefe, even though he died on his lawn. - He couldn't be bothered, he didn't go out on his lawn when John O'Keefe was lying there. I mean, so like, but he can get motivated to come to the closing statements for Cara Reed, suddenly Brian Albert has taken an active interest in this case at the last minute after ignoring it. You know, this entire time and being like a mythical creature that we couldn't find. He wasn't like the rest of them. He wasn't like John McCabe and Chris Alber going out in public, acting like a fool. That guy was hiding as he should have been, like keeping a low profile. But last minute, he decided, you know, we're going to come out here and we're going to stare at this jury, just stare blatantly. And that guy looks scary, you know? So, but nothing, and then we got the other news today. Of course, Michael Proctor has been suspended without pay. So, and that's hard to do on the state police. So, he's toast, he's done. - Yeah, no, yeah, I think he is. But I mean, he's still going to get paid. You know, he's still, if they ever, you know, make some kind of settlement, he'll get some kind of back pay. He'll get all the money he put into the pension plan. But yeah, he's all done. And, you know, and they say, they said in their press release that all of the findings are sent to the Post Commission, the Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission in Massachusetts that decides whether someone should be decertified or not. And I'm just wondering if, you know, people can make public complaints to the Post Commission. I tweeted out the actual document. - Yeah, but you know how he, like Google's going to get him. Like, there's no way Michael Proctor can ever get a policing job in Massachusetts ever again. Like, he's done. Like, he'll never wear a badge again, he'll never be a cop again. He's going to have to find a completely new line of work that pays him 150 grand to be a hack who plants taillight, I guess. I mean, good luck finding a job like that. I mean, these people, he had a good career. He had a nice life out of them. And he's like, you know what? I'm going to, you know, I'm going to stint for Brian Alberts who are throwing away my career over, I guess. Good job, Proctor. - Yeah. I'm thinking of the other cops, though. You know, like guys like Sergeant Butchenik. Butchenik, who, you know, who liked all the texts. I mean, you know, shouldn't they hear from people? Like, you can complain about any of these people to the post commission. - Well, how about, let's not forget, the one piece I was glazed over and all this. Kevin Albert got smashed and left his gun in badge and Michael Proctor's cruiser. 'Cause we've got, we almost forgot about that. This kid and police detective is getting smashed and driving around with his pal, you know, hot dog in it doing wheelies in a blizzard and leaving his gun and his badge behind. - Well, bro, where's my gun, dude? I don't even know. Oh, I'm still hung over, man. Can't drink whiskey ever again, bro. I mean, so like all these guys, none of them should be working again. I mean, Polly, there's a protest going on right now in Southy, at the Southy Barracks. They schedule it for today. They're still down there even in the light of the news that these men should spend there without pay. 'Cause they're not, it gets stabbed with Proctor. Like, Buchanan was on that text chain. Fanning was on that text chain. The Chico said some horrible text messages about Carrey to Michael Proctor. And like, they make it sound like in those messages that they routinely manipulate medical examiners. Like, they know exactly how to get what they want from medical examiners. You got Brian Polly, the guy who signed off on all of Michael Proctor's fraudulent police reports. They're all still working. They're all still making over 200 grand. They all gotta go. Getting rid of Michael Proctor is just the beginning. - Yeah, and you can go and check out my tweet. I got a link on the website. You can complain to the Post Commission. I don't know how many complaints it takes or if the complaints mean anything, but you can make your feelings known. And again, also Kevin Albert, the guy in the Canton Police Department, the brother of Brian Albert and jail bird Chris Albert. He's the one who got loaded and with Proctor, they're driving around in a state police cruiser and he leaves his badge and his gun there. They're working on a cold case. - Yeah, I mean, nothing surprises me with these people. They all gotta go. They're all rotten. They completely screwed up this case. This is embarrassing. I've heard a lot of legal experts say that like, Michael Morris, he cannot run for reelection again, that he's just too tainted and stained from this. Why did he want to keep going forward with this? Why did they want to do this again? You saw Paul O'Keefe interview the other day. That guy didn't listen to a thing that happened during the entire trial. It's very obvious. He detective Paul O'Keefe cracked the case a long time ago. He thought, yeah, he said, Karen Reed went back to Titan and that's all he needed to know. She was guilty of murder, fact be damned. And they're just, I feel like the only reason they're going forward with this is just to appease Paul O'Keefe and make it seem like, yeah, we're trying. Oh yeah, we'll get her next time, Paul. Paul, if you listen to this, she's not getting convicted. Like they're giving you false hope. They're lying to you. Give it up. What do you think about Marty Weinberg, an old-time mob lawyer, defended Dana Pullman, the former head of the State Police Association of Massachusetts. He's a federal, he's a federal lawyer, basically. Why would they hire a federal lawyer? Terrible boy. I almost hired him. I almost hired him. He was recommended to me and he's an old guy. I mean, he seems like 70 years old, but apparently he's really sharp. He is. He couldn't, yeah, he was one of the people I talked to before Bradle, you know, he couldn't take on the case at the time. His schedule was too full. But I've heard nothing but good things about him, so he's really sharp and I've heard he's good with appeals, that's what they're saying. So, you know, they know what they're doing. Yeah, I think that's another bad sign for Morrissey that they're bringing in, bringing him in. And obviously, they're bringing him in because, you know, you're netdy and Jackson are gonna have to testify in these hearings to throw these cases out. Well, their witness is now. Yeah. And the judge is a witness now. Like, if she was told by the jurors, like by the foreman that, yeah, we've, you know, we voted to acquit, we're 12 nothing on murder. And she's gonna have to testify to that. She can't be the judge anymore. She's gonna be a witness in this. Yeah, it's really gonna be a mess. And now that he's been suspended without pay, I mean, who's gonna testify in the Brian Walsh case? You know, I mean, we've always known this was where it was headed, but now it's official. If they let that guy walk free, if that guy walks free 'cause of their idiocy, I mean, how can anyone like be, you know, apologetic for them? You heard Paul O'Keefe on TV the other night. He says that, oh, it was wrong that they went through and got all these messages. Why? Why? We shouldn't have cops like this. We shouldn't have people who say stuff like this in messages, not just to their friends, but to their other, to their coworkers, to their superiors. They all gotta go. Yeah. Yeah, 207 says, I think they should retry this case, but with other defendants. Yeah, I think a lot of people think that 207. They need to, they need some new defendants, in this case, is what they need. Okay, so where are you gonna do a special show about this tonight, or are you gonna do it wait 'til Tuesday? Oh, wait 'til Tuesday at nine o'clock to go over something. You never know if you come out in the next 24 hours. This news cycle moves so fast with this stuff, so. Oh, wait 'til tomorrow and see what happens, and we'll go on that. Okay, I'm gonna have Sean McDonough on at 5.30. You know, he said that they had settled the case, and I didn't believe him when he said it on my show. I didn't believe I knew it. I was amazed. Talked about this Friday. I'm like, I find that hard to believe, that's crazy. But in Norfolk County, the unbelievable is believable. With the land of the butt-diling phones and the anonymous Google searches at 2.27 a.m. That nobody knows anything about. Anything can happen in Norfolk County. Anything bad could happen in Norfolk County. Thank you, Turtle Boy. We'll talk to you again soon. That's Aiden Carney, also known as Turtle Boy. Go ahead, Chris. - Hi, Houghie. Regarding the developments in the Caron Reed case today, I was on a jury in Massachusetts recently in the last couple of months, or a criminal case, it wasn't in Norfolk County. But the defendant in this case was accused of six charges. And when we started deliberating as a jury, we immediately agreed that like the first two charges, the most serious ones, the defendant was not guilty. We ended up being a hung jury on the other four charges, but we were given a verdict slip, one verdict slip for each of the charges, and for the two charges that the defendant was found not guilty on, we checked not guilty. I am just amazed that a situation like this could develop, where there's confusion over a unanimous verdict on one of the charges. - Two of them, Chris, you noticed that when they were first given the jury slip, they showed it to the defense, and there was no box to check for a not guilty verdict on the murder charge. And then they complained about it, and the judge was yelling at them, and then an hour later she came back and said, "Well, okay, we're gonna amend the jury slip "so they can vote not guilty." I mean, this is crazy what was going on from day one in this trial. - Yeah, and the funny thing is too, that the judge in this case, in the Karen Reed case, said that this is how it's done in Massachusetts, and two months ago, it was completely different. The judge in our case had it very well organized. You had one verdict slip for every charge, and it clearly said guilty or not guilty. I mean, it's not that hard. - Well, yeah, I mean, she said that, and then an hour later she came back and changed it. So she didn't know what the hell she was talking about, and then she said she was too tired. Remember that? She said she was too tired. Thanks for the call, Chris. Jim, you're next with highway car. Go ahead, Jim. - Howie. - Hi. - X-Caught. Retired. - Court officer. - Yes. - Worked at a scary court in Middlesex County. The verdict slips have three charges on 'em. If two of 'em have found out about those two read out in court, and if that's third one, they can't come to a conclusion. And that's thrown out. I mean, that's the mistrial on those, but those other two should be read out in court. - Yeah, I know, I don't understand. I mean, again, have you ever heard of such a thing happening as the defense lawyers are claiming? - What was that? - Have you ever heard of such a thing happening as the jury coming to unanimous verdicts, and then having the judge rule that it was a mistrial? - Never, I must have worked with honest judges who knew it, they were doing it, you know. (laughing) - I'm guessing you didn't work in Norfolk County. Forget it, Jake, it's Norfolk County. It's a line, a reworked line from Chinatown. I'm Howie Carr. - I was tired, and I needed to think about it. [BLANK_AUDIO]
