We use our closest people, our loved ones as the the outlet for all our irritation. Their only offense was being around us, caring about us. And in return, this is what we give them.

You are a morning ray of sunshine and safe command. The people around and punching bags but that's how we use them. Some situation at work or with some are not connected to an immediate circle hurts us. But we can't do anything either about the situation or the person. So what do we do? Use our closest people, our loved ones as the outlet for the irritation. Why? What did they do? Their only offense was being around us caring about us and in return this is what we give them. It's unfair, callous and exploitative. It's easy to say we didn't mean it happened in the moment. That's also a kind of irresponsibility, not being self aware and grounded, not being in the here and now. How about we stop making excuses and make amends instead. In the future, shake off all the frustration and irritation before entering into a home surrounding. Let's compartmentalize life a bit so we preserve and nurture all that's precious to us.
