Your morning ray of sunshine, the Anand, Sev Kumar, when the ego talks, in the still of the night when we suddenly find ourselves awake, quite possible that we start thinking about the issues in our life, how much we are struggling, how hard everything seems and so on. That's the ego talking, making us feel like a victim, if we start listening, get sucked in, sleep is for fit. When you are focused on work, maybe working on a pitch document or a brand analysis or practicing an instrument or a back hand, the ego will pipe up again. Start questioning whether we are good enough, whether anyone will be interested in listening to us, how all our competition is better than us, we really have no future. If you listen, that's it, no practice, no work gets done on this day. The ego isn't going to shut up, the choice lies with us to listen, adjust empty our minds and get back to what we were doing to be addressing or creating a plane. If we listen, give credence to what the ego tries to sell us, it will take away our confidence, our peace, our enjoyment of the day. If we ignore it, we can do what we are doing, enjoy it and make the most of the day. Let me take some doing, but it is up to us, it is our day, sunshine in your day.
