Beyond The Horizon

The Jeffrey Epstein Grand Jury Documents (Part 4) (7/2/24)

n February 2024, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed HB 117, which allows for the release of grand jury documents from the 2006 investigation of Jeffrey Epstein. This legislation permits the disclosure of grand jury testimony if the subject of the inquiry is deceased, the investigation was about sexual activity with a minor, and the testimony was previously disclosed by a court order.

The bill, effective July 1, 2024, aims to provide transparency and justice for Epstein’s victims by revealing previously sealed grand jury proceedings. This move has been celebrated by victims and advocates as a significant step toward accountability and justice.

Epstein's 2006 investigation involved the Palm Beach Police Department, which had recommended multiple felony charges, including unlawful sexual activity with a minor and lewd or lascivious molestation. However, the State Attorney at the time chose to present the evidence to a grand jury, resulting in the details and names of those involved remaining sealed.

HB 117's passage was supported by two of Epstein's victims, who joined Governor DeSantis in Palm Beach to mark the occasion. Governor DeSantis emphasized that the public deserves to know who participated in Epstein’s sex trafficking and that wealth and status should not protect individuals from facing justice. Representative Peggy Gossett-Seidman also highlighted the significance of this legislation for the victims and the Palm Beach community that suffered from Epstein's actions.

And now those documents are available for us to dive into.

What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. In this episode we're picking up where we left off with the grand jury documents from Palm Beach. Bella Hovlic, okay, did you discuss with redacted what happened up in the room? Answer, yes. Then we got in the, the um, back of her truck. At first we were all like, uh, let's go, let's go spend our money. Then she was like, "Oh, what happened? What did you do? How much money did you get?" And I was like, "I got 300." And I was like, kind of excited, $300. And then she was like, "You got 300? What did you have to do with him?" And then she told, or I told him, or her or what I did. And then she's like, "Oh, yeah, um, I've done that too. Blah, blah, blah." And like, you could, she was then, she told me like, "What, what, like, if you do this, it's, you get that. If you do this, then you get that." And then she was telling me like, all this stuff. And then I was like, laughing about it. 'Cause I was like, "Yeah, thanks, you know, for telling me that. I'd have to get my bra." And she's like, "Oh, sorry." And she's laughing. And then the other girl starts laughing too. And then we all laughed together. And then we went to TJ Maxx, and she got a purse. And I didn't spend any of my money. I kept it in my, I wanted to spend it, but I didn't want to spend it at TJ Maxx. I wanted to go to the mall or something. So then I kept it in my house, like my purse and stuff, and she got stopped there by Bella Hovlic. Let me stop you there. When you're in the car back with redacted, going back, did you and redacted discuss doing this again so you could earn more money? Answer, yeah. Bella Hovlic, okay. Answer, I think, she's cut off again by Bella Hovlic. Then the witness cuts Bella Hovlic off. We had, she, she didn't plan a like certain date. She was just like, we didn't like plan this or like again. We didn't plan it, plan it. It was just like, she was like, oh, well, if you ever need money again, you can always call me and you can come with me. And I said, okay. Bella Hovlic, you don't recall telling Detective Pagon that you made plans to do this every Saturday so that you could get rich. Answer, oh, yeah, yeah. Well, it wasn't like a plan plan. It was kind of like an imaginary kind of every Saturday like Bella Hovlic. Okay, and just to interject here folks because I can't stop myself. Can you see what Bella Hovlic's doing? Can you see how Bella Hovlic turned this witness into basically a prostitute, a little girl? This is what I've been telling you for how long everybody's out there yelling about lists and all the other bullshit. And we've been on target this whole entire time while the vast majority of other people were dicking around with a bunch of stuff that doesn't even matter in the grand scheme of things. Bella Hovlic, did you go back to Jeffrey Epstein's house to give mother massages? Answer, I did not. Bella Hovlic, okay. Answer, when I was on the phone with the detective, we pretended for redacted because she was on the other line. We pretended that I was going to go back but just so she could say something but I never did. Bella Hovlic, okay. So you did a controlled phone call with redacted. Answer, uh-huh. Bella Hovlic trying to get her to make admissions. Answer, uh-huh. Bella Hovlic, is that a yes? Answer, yeah. Bella Hovlic, okay. All right, was there another reason you sort of didn't go back? That some people might have found out about it or you were talking about you? Answer, yeah, um, that's what I was going to get to. At school, um, I had like my best friend and I told her in dance class 'cause that's my first period. And that was my first period class. And like right when I go back to school, I had the $300 in my purse with me and I told her like if you ever want to make 300, you can come with me and redacted will take you. And I didn't say her name, I said like my friend will take you and all you have to do is give him a massage and stuff. And I told her what I did. I didn't tell her everything. I didn't tell her the vibrator part. I just left that out, but I told her everything else. And um, she kind of laughed and giggled and she's like, okay, I'll keep that in mind. And then um, Bella Hovlic, who was this person that you told? Answer, redacted and redacted? Well, she was in the conversation, but she's like, didn't say anything to anybody. Bella Hovlic redacted, answer redacted. She didn't, she didn't say anything at first until everybody else found out. And then well, after I told redacted, the rest of the day goes by and she was telling people and like telling everybody in school. And then I was like, I saw her in my gym class that same day and I just confronted her. I was like, well, why are you telling people? And that's kind of my business. And I kind of told you to be nice and not to like go around telling people you're supposed to be my best friend. And then she just laughed about it. So then we got an altercation in the gym room. Bella Hovlic was that a fight? Answer, yes, Bella Hovlic, you had a fight. Answer, I, we got into a fight. And um, that's when I was, had to go to the principal's office and told the lady that she, why we got into the fight with me. And I told her why she, why we got into the fight. And I kind of, we at first, we both kind of lied about why because, or I did, and then, and then I just told the principal she was spreading rumors about me. And then redacted, I guess, told the principal why like for real. And so then the principal, when I had to go in the room, she was like, let me see in your purse. And I said, why? And she's like, ask me if I had any money. And I said, no, I don't have any money on me. And then she said like, you don't have to lie. You're not going to be in trouble. Give me your purse. And then I gave her my purse. And she found the 300 and she asked me how I got it. And I said, I worked at redacted because at the time, I really did work at redacted. And um, to this, she is interrupted by Bella Hovlik. And why'd you lie to the assistant principal witness? Cause I didn't think it was like, any of her business, like, why are we arguing or anything? And I thought, why would I tell on myself if she doesn't really know anything? But then she really did know because redacted told her. And then she, after she showed, like, after she took my purse and she looked at the 300 and she didn't believe what I said, like, at all. And I just kept lying and like saying, no, I got it from redacted. My work, my work. And then she said, you don't have to lie. I know what happened. And she called my stepmom and my stepmom came to the school. And my stepmom said like, you didn't get 300 from your paycheck. You're lying. And then that's when that's when like, I don't know everything kind of came out. And then I, she's interrupted by Bella Hovlich here. You didn't tell your parents at first. So did you lie to them too? Answer. I said I was doing drugs and I was dealing them like I made up any kind of lie. I didn't want to tell them what happened. Answer. Did there come a time when Detective Pagon got some messages on your phone? Answer from Bella Hovlich from redacted answer redacted. Yeah, she, oh, well, after that whole thing, my cell phone was taken away. So she had my cell phone from that day until I moved to redacted and she like my mom, I think she still has it or the court or whatever has my cell phone. Bella Hovlich, you talked about telling your mom you were doing drugs or selling drugs. Answer. Yeah, I just Bella Hovlich cuts her off, which one answer my just both. I just kind of, my dad's arguing with me and I just kind of told him, well, I'm a drug dealer. Bella Hovlich, okay, so you've had a problem with drugs though, haven't you? Answer, I did. Not a problem, I experimented. Bella Hovlich, didn't your parents actually send you away to a rehabilitation center because of it? Answer to a family help center. Bella Hovlich, okay. Answer to be specific or whatever. It was because of that, but it was also because I had a lot of family like getting along problems. Like I argued with my parents a lot. Bella Hovlich, were you doing drugs during the time that you went to Jeffrey Epstein's house? Answer, no, well, the only the only drug that I did at that time was pot, like I smoked it sometimes. I didn't do like drug drugs like bad kinds of drugs. Bella Hovlich, do you still smoke pot? Answer, no. Bella Hovlich, do you have a MySpace.com account? Answer, yes, I have a MySpace. We were prohibited by law, 18 plus terms and conditions apply. Answer, no, I don't talk about it. There's like a little thing where it says create like your own thingy and it asks questions like a survey. That's the word I'm looking for, a survey about like, they just ask questions and it says, "Have you ever done drugs?" And I said, "Yeah, have you?" It says, "Have you ever done drugs?" Bella Hovlich, okay. It asks a lot of questions about you, right? Answer, yes. But I also did delete that Myspace and I did a good one. I, she's cut off by Bella Hovlich, but she goes on. I deleted it 'cause my parents found out. Bella Hovlich, so you had one that wasn't real good? Answer, yes. Bella Hovlich, that you lied about your age on, said you were 18 on. Answer, no, I didn't say I was 18. Bella Hovlich, this your account? Answer, no. Bella Hovlich, here with redacted. Female, 18 years old, lives in redacted. Answer, yes, but I didn't do this one. All minds have like cool things in the back, like mine. I would never make an ugly one. Bella Hovlich, redacted. Do you have more fun? Answer, yes. Bella Hovlich, you're a redacted? Answer, yes, but, and I have that X like those exact same things on my old one. It had like, not in what it says about me in that little sentence. Bella Hovlich, okay. Answer, that's not, I didn't make that. Bella Hovlich, so when you're talking about that survey you answered, it says your choice of alcohol. And you put beer? Answer, yeah. Bella Hovlich, do you drink beer? Answer, at parties. Bella Hovlich, okay, it says you have four piercings. Answer, not anymore. Now I only, well, I used to have my belly button pierced. Bella Hovlich, it takes, you have to be 18 in the state of Florida to have body piercings other than your ears. How? Answer, my dad. Bella Hovlich, how did you get those? Answer, my dad took me to get my belly button pierced for my 14th birthday, because like everybody was getting one, so I begged for it. And then I just got my nose pierced, so, Bella Hovlich, did you have to provide identification for your nose just to prove you were 18? Answer, no, my dad, my dad, let me. Bella Hovlich, your dad, okay. So you didn't have false identification at that time. Answer, no, Bella Hovlich, okay, so you said yes to drinking and smoking, smoking pot. Answer, yeah, Bella Hovlich, there's a question, do you shoplift? Do you recall what you put for that? Answer, I did. Bella Hovlich, what did you shoplift? Answer like a couple of times? Bella Hovlich, do you recall putting lots of times on your site? Answer, maybe this was a long time ago, so, Bella Hovlich, okay, you report an income of $250,000. Answer as a joke, Bella Hovlich, on that site? Answer, yeah, it's a joke. Like all my friends do that, because it's kind of funny and random and stupid. Bella Hovlich, okay, so it's not that you're making money elsewhere. Answer, no, it, she's interrupted by Bella Hovlich, doing similar activity? Answer, it was just kind of stupid, it's like a joke. Bella Hovlich, okay, did you ever make arrangements with redacted to go back to Jeffrey Epstein's house in April of 2005? Answer, not when I was with her, maybe on a phone conversation like with the detective, but not ever when I was with her. Question from Bella Hovlich, did you ever talk to redacted about going back in April of 2005? Answer, I really don't think so, Bella Hovlich, okay, all right, at this point, I'm going to ask the grand jurors if they have any questions for you. Answer, okay, all right, we're gonna wrap up this episode right here, and in the next episode, we're gonna pick up with the grand jurors and their line of questioning.
