Back in July, a man named Rex Huerman was arrested, and we were told that he is responsible for the Long Island serial killings. Now, when he was arrested, he was only charged with three of the four murders, and they said that the fourth charge was pending. Well now, Rex Huerman has been charged with that fourth murder as well. So now he's on the hook for not only the first three, but all four. And as I've said before, I expect it to be more than these four when all is said and done. I expect Rex Huerman to have victims in other places as well, including here in Las Vegas. I think that the Las Vegas four, who we've talked about extensively here on the podcast, that they're going to be tied to Rex Huerman. Now, are they going to be able to confirm it? Is he going to admit it? I highly doubt it. But when you look at all of the circumstances and you look at the victims, you look at, you know, their characteristics, and then you look at the way they were all murdered in comparison to what we saw down at Gilgo Beach, and it all adds up. Now, of course, that's my speculation just to be clear. I don't have any evidence that I can point you to and be like, hey, you know what? Here it is in black and white, but when you start putting the pieces together and you look at everything that we've learned already about Rex Huerman, what we learned in the PAL application and what we've learned throughout the years, I don't think it's too big of a leap to think that Rex Huerman could be responsible for murders, in other places, especially murders that are relatively similar to what we saw in Gilgo Beach. And we know that the investigators have been looking in other places trying to make those connections. So far, we haven't seen any of those connections as far as from an official source or something like that. But there's no doubt that there's a lot of investigators around the country taking a look at their cold cases and seeing if stuff adds up. And now that they're in possession of Rex Huerman's DNA, it makes things a bit easier for investigators to try and track down what he might have been up to. And hopefully, with those extra tools in the toolbox, they'll be able to put some of these pieces together and eventually get some closure for some of these families of these missing and murdered women. Today's article is from Fox News and The Headline. Gilgo Beach serial killer, why DNA from suspect Rex Huerman's daughter matters. This article was authored by Michael Ruiz. Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney said cutting-edge advances in DNA led to overwhelming statistical matches between samples taken from the Gilgo IV victims and the family of suspected Long Island serial killer Rex Huerman. So, you know, we've talked about DNA, obviously, a whole lot when we're going through cases like Brian Coburgers, when we went through Alec Murdoch or Laurie Vallow, and this is another case where DNA is going to tell the story. And the DNA profiles here that they've been able to match, the way they've been able to put it all together, it's going to be real hard for Rex Huerman to have any kind of legitimate, tenable defense here. Speaking to reporters after Huerman's arraignment on a fourth murder charge on Tuesday, Tierney said the latest test results help bring charges for the death of Maureen Brainerd Barnes 25 and strengthens the case against Huerman in the other three murders. Before an indictment, Brainerd Barnes' death, Huerman already faced murder charges in the deaths of Melissa Bartholomew, Meghan Waterman, and Amber Costello. All four women were found in the brush near Gilgo Beach, east of New York City. Huerman had been under surveillance for more than a year before police arrested him. Outside his Manhattan architecture firm, his attorney Mike Brown said outside the courtroom earlier. So when they arrested him, it was like a whole ass ordeal, right? They used pizza crust that they pulled out of the trash, they were watching him for months, and they really had their teeth sunk in to their suspect Rex Huerman. And when everything started to break about him being arrested, about who he was, we knew right away that it was an outlier, right? This isn't your typical serial killer, or is it? A lot of times we think of serial killers as, you know, loners, people who don't have families, people who live in the shadows, but there are some of these serial killers who are hiding in plain sight. They have families, they have wives, jobs, the whole thing. And Rex Huerman was certainly one of those. Court documents revealed Tuesday that detectives also tell his daughter, who is not a suspect, but whose DNA was transferred to one of the victims, allegedly by her father, while she was on a beach vacation. Imagine this being your pops and you showing up in the courtroom to, you know, back them up or support them or whatever, because that's what her and her mom have been doing, at least in the latest court appearance. We know that they're getting that bag, too. Shooting a documentary, really, right now? Before there's justice, before any of this is sorted out, you have a documentary crew following you around? Yeah, that looks great. The optics are fantastic. I could understand wanting to do a documentary when all is said and done, right? After the trial, Huerman has been found guilty or he's innocent, whatever. Then you do your documentary. But now, really? Detectives not only collected DNA samples from the suspected killer and his wife, they also followed Victoria Huerman on a train ride and picked her discarded monster job of can out of the trash. Then lab testing allegedly matched it to a sample collected from victim Amber Costello. So this dirty scoundrel, this dirty ass mofo Rex Huerman, dragging his family into it, the whole thing. And what sort of man, and I use that word loosely, talking about this garbage animal. And after he's convicted, because I have no doubt that that's going to occur, it's time to get that helicopter ready for a quick trip over a volcano. While investigators believe Victoria Huerman was out of town during the murder and tyranny noted she was only 13 at the time, it is alleged her hair was transferred to Brainerd Barnes remains by her father on a piece of tape he used to bind the victim. Tierney told reporters after the hearing investigators charged Huerman with Brainerd Barnes murder months after the other victims, because they were waiting for the results of cutting edge SNP process testing, which he said came back an overwhelming match in the case. So when they have that kind of DNA, and they're able to cross reference it, they're getting it from numerous sources. Very, very difficult as a defendant to beat that kind of shit. We already see the hoops that Brian Coburgers jumping through trying to get that DNA thrown out of his case. And if you don't think Rex Huerman's team's going to be doing the same, you're not paying attention. They have no hope to actually, you know, argue this on the merits of evidence. So they're going to be looking for loopholes and technicalities. We had mitochondrial results with regard to the female hair found at Costello's burial site. And that was consistent with the genetic profiles of both Asa Ellerut and Victoria Huerman. And that was to an exclusion of 99.98% of the rest of the population, Tierney said. So very damning, right? Very, very damning. And I think all of this stuff that we're going through right now is just perfunctory. And that's because I think that Rex Huerman is as guilty as guilty could be. And short of some kind of monstrous prosecutorial misconduct, I don't see any way that Rex Huerman ever sees the light of day ever again. If you remember the science of mitochondrial DNA, unlike nuclear DNA, you inherit that solely from your mother. So a mother and a child will have identical mitochondrial DNA profiles. We now have nuclear DNA profiles on all five of the question hairs. And we use this using the SNP of SNP process. The nuclear results show a staggering high probability of a match, Tierney explained. The way the number is expressed, that scientific expression I'm told. So that's basically 2.374, and you add 48 zeroes to that, he said. So that's a number so large, a name for it doesn't even exist. While the superseding indictment shows investigators continue to build their case, retired NYPD inspector Paul Morrow told Fox News Digital Tuesday. The latest filings were nothing earth-shattering. However, they amount to stronger evidence than was publicly known before Tuesday's arraignment on the fourth murder charge, especially the connection between Victoria Huerman's hair and Costello, which he said confirmed earlier suspicions. Yeah, there was no doubt that it was Rex Huerman who was tied to these bodies. The only question was when the DNA was going to come back and confirm all of it. The Costello connection is also important because her pimp, the lone eyewitness identified in public court filings, who described an altercation with an ogre matching Huerman's physical description and helped lead police to the suspect's vehicle, a green Chevrolet avalanche, like the one authorities discovered from the suspect's brother's home in South Carolina. After Huerman's arrest in July, investigators seized his burner phones and other devices, Tierney said, ultimately finding more evidence in the case that helped them land an indictment for the Brainerd Barnes murder. Among the new files, police obtained cell phone-billing records that Tierney said, "Show Ellorup and her children were in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where Brainerd Barnes went missing July 9th, 2007." Huerman joined his family there, July 13th. So look, there's a lot of talk about Rex Huerman and his activities in Atlantic City, and the authorities have already ruled him out as the East Side Strangler, aka the Atlantic City Killer. But there's a lot going on here still that we don't know about, and I would not be shocked to hear later on down the road of some sort of deviation from their initial, you know, outlook on what Rex Huerman was up to. Remember, this is very fluid, and things are being built as we speak. Ryan Seacrest here. When you have a busy schedule, it's important to maximize your downtime. Ellerup's attorney, Bob Massendonio, told Fox News Digital that the family had no idea that Victoria Huerman was being followed until the Bell application came out on Tuesday. Well, they don't let you know if they're following you. Kinda defeats the purpose, right? So what they'll do is they'll have a team tell you, or they'll have one person tell you, and they'll follow you around and document what you're up to. And all they need for that is probable cause. The murder of all four victims occurred at times when defendant Huerman's wife and children were traveling out of state, which allowed defendant Huerman unfettered time to execute his plans for each victim. Without any fear that his family would uncover or learn of his involvement in these crimes, prosecutors wrote in a Bell application. Despite that, Huerman allegedly transferred his family's DNA to the victims where it sat for years before genetic testing had improved enough for police to make use of it. So this is why somebody like Brian Coburger is cooked. He's trying to fight the IgG evidence right now, and it's just not going to happen. And Rex Huerman's bound to face the same exact hurdles. In fact, his hurdles are going to be even worse. And that's because they found multiple DNA profiles here for Rex Huerman. Whereas Brian Coburger, they only have the DNA on the sheath. Investigators found Brainerd Barnes bound with three leather belts, one around her ankles. Hair on that one showed a genetic link to Ellorup. According to the new filing, Waterman's remains were abound in duct tape, according to prosecutors, and a hair recovered from her bindings also matched Ellorup. A male hair in the burlap material used to conceal her remains allegedly matched Huerman directly, according to the court filings. So all of this evidence. How does he expect to beat it? Costello, who was bound with tape, and a burlap material, also transferred hair, according to the superseding indictment, this time from Victoria Huerman, the suspect's daughter, who was 13 at the time of the slaying and away with her mother. Imagine having a daughter and then doing this to someone else's daughter? If anybody deserves a death penalty, then it's this piece of garbage. Other evidence unveiled in the latest filings include details about how each of the victims was bound and how police recovered additional burner email accounts under fake names like Andrew Roberts and Sandbagger 303, which were linked to searches for violent pornography and news updates on the Gilgo Beach cold case investigation. So this dude's following along with everything that's happening. He has all these SOC accounts, these dummy accounts, he has these burner phones, and he thought that that was going to give him a semblance of anonymity. Well, breaking news stupid, not these days. Huerman faces three counts of first degree murder and four counts of second degree murder. He's being held without bail and due back in court, February 6. The Gilgo Beach victims were among nearly a dozen discovered after police received a haunting 911 call from Shannon Gilbert in 2010 and then began searching for Niro Beach a few miles to the east. The Jews look through the dense brush north of Ocean Parkway for months, uncovering the Gilgo for and a half dozen other bodies before they finally found Gilbert's remains. The two other deaths remain under investigation by a grand jury tyranny set on Tuesday. With regard to the other bodies and those other murders, the task force will continue to investigate those cases, he added. Huerman was born and raised in Massapeka Park, New York. He bought his childhood home from his mother in the 90s and moved his family there. Neighbors described him as a quiet and unassuming, but some said they got creepy vibes from the uncapped home, which has aging siding, twisted flashing along the roof, and 2x4 is holding up the front awning. Imagine having all of that in your an architect. What are you doing, dude? You don't have the time to build an awning that actually has some kind of posts or columns or something. You got 2x4s out there, like JoJo the Redneck? Sure, the people in Massapeka Park love that. As for the new charges, I figured it was only a matter of time like everybody else before he got slapped with these charges. And like I said earlier in the opening, I wouldn't be shocked to see more, so we'll keep an eye on things and as we have some movement and some evolution, we'll get it added to the catalog.
