ICYMI: Renewed Calls For Justice For Grant Solomon Continue To Build

Grant Solomon had the world at his feet.   An exceptional young man in every sense of the word, from being a world class athlete to a great student and more importantly than that even, a big brother that his sister could count on.   However, one early morning in Galatin would change it all.

After Grant went to meet his father for a pitching lesson, tragedy struck.   According to the official narrative, Grant was killed by his own vehicle after it rolled over him in the parking lot.   His father, the only person there at the time, claims it was a tragic accident.   Grant's family though, including and especially his mother, Angie, thinks that there is much more to the story and has continued to demand accountability and justice, only for it fall on deaf ears.

Now though, new calls for an investigation have begun to ring out in the aftermath of a new piece about the story being run by the dailymail asking the same questions we've all been asking:

Why wasn't there a robust investigation?

Let's dive in and try to find some clarity in all the muck.

What's up everyone and welcome back to the program you know there's a lot of stories that we talk about that get your boy fired up but the story that we're about to dive into is certainly one of them that gets my blood pressure going and anytime you have a situation where you have people who are in power who ignore the facts in order to help their friend you know that you have a situation that needs a more robust look and that's exactly what we have going on down here in Tennessee. Now I've had Angie on the podcast before grants mom and her story is absolutely heartbreaking and when we first started talking about this story nobody else really was talking about it nobody had the courage because Aaron Solomon I guess likes to sue people well you all know how I roll I don't give a damn about any of that I mean standing in the middle of the ring and go and toe to toe with all the Epstein's people and all of their money and their power. I'm not really too concerned about Aaron Solomon but locally this dude wheeled it a lot of power and he was somebody that was you know thrown around slap lawsuits and the rest of it. Well we talked about this case over a year ago and we had Angie on to tell her story and since then many different courageous content creators have picked up the baton and have run with it and they've done a great job getting people caught up getting people hit the what went on and now finally the Daily Mail actually has an article about Grant Gracie and Angie's story so you already know we're going to dive into this article and we're about to break it down because Angie Gracie and Grant they all deserve justice and they deserve the people who have been elected in Gallatin to do the right thing and conduct a robust investigation and if they can't do it they need to get out of the way and let the feds do it and I think that's what everyone should be demanding at this point that they get out of the way meaning the local authorities and let the feds come in and take a look at what happened here because I think it's relatively obvious that we can't trust the apparatus that's in power locally considering all of their deep ties and relationships to one another. This article is from the Daily Mail and the headline, Family fights for answers after mysterious death of teenage baseball star Grant Solomon, father was the only witness said the son's car ran over him on side of the road and police ruled it a freak accident. I mean, what? Somebody please make that make sense. None of it's made sense to me from the jump from the police reports I read from the beginning, talking to Angie, looking at all the circumstances and the details. I just don't buy it. I didn't buy it then and I don't buy it now. The author of this article is Ruth Bashinsky and the tip of the cap to Ruth and the Daily Mail for running this story. A family in Tennessee is fighting for answers after the mysterious death of an 18 year old baseball star Grant Solomon nearly four years ago. Grant's father, Aaron Solomon, was the only known witness when his son's own vehicle, a white Toyota Tacoma truck ran over him on the side of the road. On the morning of July 20, 2020, Grant was driving to meet his father, a former Tennessee news anchor at the Ward Performance Institute for a private pitching session in Gallatin, about 50 miles away from his home in Franklin. Less than 10 minutes after arriving at the facility, Aaron called 911 and said his son was trapped underneath his Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. The handsome six foot four athlete, who was starting his senior year of high school, died shortly after. Now, under normal circumstances, you look at something like this and say to yourself, man, this is a horrible accident. I can't believe that this happened and you would have empathy for the dad, right? Well, until you learn more of the story. Then that empathy, at least for me anyway, turned to anger. The Gallatin Police Department recorded Grant's death as a parking lot accident, ruled it as accidental and closed the case. But Grant's devastated family claims that there was no investigation, no reconstruction of the scene, and no autopsy or toxicology performed, and all of that's true. Like I've said, I've talked to Angie. On the podcast, I've talked to her outside of the podcast, and I'll be very plain when I tell you, I believe every single word that she's saying. And you all know me. I'm not somebody that just bites, right? I'm somebody that needs receipts. And Angie has provided those receipts in spades. And I said it a year ago, and I'm saying it again. There needs to be a unified voice demanding that a robust investigation occurs. It all needs to be reopened, re-examined by fresh eyes and eyes that aren't even close to being considered biased. In Aaron's 911 call, he is heard telling the operator that his son's truck backed over him and dragged him into the ditch, and the truck is on top of him, according to the audio obtained by DailyML.com. The operator is heard calmly asking Aaron how old the mail is to which he responded that Grant turned 18 a month ago. He then is heard saying, "Oh my God, oh my God," and repeats that his son is trapped underneath the truck. "He is underneath the vehicle. It's a white truck. That is my son. Somehow it backed up. Oh my God, this is not good. I guess he didn't have it in park. It wasn't engaged. The brakes," Aaron said. Now, look, I guess it's possible, right, that, you know, Grant maybe didn't put the emergency brake on or put it into a park or whatever, but I just don't buy it. I just don't believe what Aaron Solomon has to say about what went down that night, especially considering we haven't seen any surveillance video. There's nothing. So we're just going to take this guy's word, and I'll tell you what, I have a very hard time of taking the word of somebody who has been accused of the things that this man has been accused of by his daughter. He told the operator that there were three other people at the scene, and the call handler told him to check whether Grant was breathing. He has then heard saying that Grant is face up and blood coming out of his mouth. At one point during the call, Aaron has heard raising his voice as he tells Grant to turn his face to the side, if he can, and to be careful. And it breaks my heart every time that I listen to that audio or hear that audio or read a transcript, and I think about Angie and I think about Gracie, it really breaks my heart. They have to go on their whole lives now without Grant, and as if that's not enough, they're then denied even a robust investigation into what happened. Now who amongst you out there would be okay with that? My guess is none of you who are parents, because I don't even have kids, and this launches me into orbit. According to a later incident report obtained by DailyML.com, Grant was found by emergency responders laying face up on the large rocks of a drainage ditch underneath the front of the truck's two tires. In his statement to police, the former news anchor with WSMV Channel 4 said he and Grant were parked side by side outside the facility. "I was still in my truck, but noticed my son got out to get his baseball gear out of the back of his truck. He said, "I looked down to check a work email, and the next thing I know, I hear and see the truck rolling backwards into the ditch. I get out of my car to try to find my son, and saw that he was trapped underneath the truck and immediately called 911. A police report by the Gallatin PD stated that Grant was struck by his own vehicle in the parking lot. The first point of impact was the rear end of the vehicle that sustained functional damage. It noted that the roadway surface was asphalt and the conditions that day were dry. The police reported their narrative of the event and attached to diagram. Again, I don't trust the local police. I'll just be straight up and say it. I don't trust the local yokels down here in Gallatin to do the right job, the job that's needed to be done, and perform a robust investigation into Aaron Solomon and the circumstances that not only occurred at the scene of the incident, but what led up to it. That cursory investigation shit might be okay with other people, but those of us who know how this stuff works understand that this is nothing more than a sweep it under the rug type of deal. And unfortunately, a lot of times in these little towns, these little, you know, cities or whatever, you find a whole lot of that. The good old boys club taking care of each other. They want the high school together. You know, the chief might have been on the dude's football team, whatever it is. And you see this kind of shit in small towns all the time. And that's why the feds have to come in and clean it up. And I really think that that's what should happen down here. I truly believe that this calls for a federal investigation. Vehicle one was stopped in the parking lot of 1357 Highway 109 South. The owner of vehicle one exited the truck and was subsequently struck by truck as it rolled down the parking lot. They wrote vehicle one, drug the owner into the drainage ditch where it came to rest. The owner was trapped underneath. Does that sound logical to anyone out there? I mean, it's possible, right? No doubt that it's possible. But knowing everything that we know leading up to this event. I don't see how anyone could say to themselves, yeah, you know, I'm comfortable with the investigation that took place. And I'm certainly comfortable with the narrative that's been pitched to us. Because there's more holes in this narrative than there is in Swiss cheese. Grants cause of death was listed as multiple blunt force trauma run over by automobile with the timestamp of 840 AM at 1357 South Water Avenue in Gallatin, Tennessee. The manner was reported as accidental. He died less than an hour later at 926 AM at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin according to his death certificate. But more than a year after his death, some mysterious details have emerged. An internal memo obtained by delimel.com that was sent from Tennessee Attorney General Anthony Jonathan Scrametti to Tennessee Governor Bill Lee in June 2022 called Grant's death a homicide. And this is what I'm talking about. And I'm getting to the point now that things have pretty much wrapped up for me when it comes to Epstein and the nonsense we saw there. I guess maybe I'm going to have to get on a flight and head out to Tennessee at some point and talk to these people face to face because if they didn't have my attention before, they certainly have it now. When Grant's family learned of this development, they appeared hopeful that the investigation would be reopened, but later learned that would not be the case. The Attorney General's office told delimel.com they were unable to comment about the contents of the memo and stated that their office does not have original criminal jurisdiction or the authority to investigate or prosecute homicides in the state of Tennessee. They said those matters are handled by the district attorney's office. So get cracking. And it's a gentleman named Ray Whitley. So, Mr. Whitley, are you going to do the right thing or are me and my big mouth going to have to hound you until you do because this is ridiculous. And look, I'm not saying that anyone's guilty or, but what I am saying is there needs to be a robust investigation because there is way too much that is unanswered here and we're talking about a young man who had his whole life ahead of him who's dead now. We're just going to sweep that under the rug and act like it's no big deal. Act like, you know, up. Well, this has been investigated. It's nothing more than an accident. Breaking news, buddy. That's not good enough. And if you're not going to do the right thing, well, you're going to hear about it. It's time for today's Lucky Land Horoscope with Victoria Cash. When DailyMell.com spoke to Sumner County District Attorney Ray Whitley about the case he called Grant Solomon's death a parking lot accident and said they would not be reopening the investigation. It's been looked into and the investigation has been reopened before. There is no basis for a homicide charge or no criminal act here. He said, it's just a horrible accident. And I'm really sorry that it happened, but it's not a criminal case. So there is nothing we are going to do forward with it. Angie Solomon, I know she has advanced this petition and she has stated what she thinks the facts are, and they're not necessarily the true facts, and there is nothing we have been able to find whatsoever that would support a criminal prosecution. When asked what type of evidence that had led him to the decision, he was tight-lipped. I'm not going into details. I don't want to debate that at all, Whitley told DailyMell.com. Imagine? Here's an idea, Mr. Whitley. Probably a good idea to be transparent here, buddy. I'm just giving you a little bit of friendly advice. When you're not transparent, you're setting yourself up for a shit show. And if you think that people like me are just going to give up when it comes to transparency, you are sorely mistaken. We've been fighting the good fight for transparency in the Epstein case for a very long time, and guess what? After a bunch of needling, after a bunch of pushing, and a bunch of bitching and moaning from us, the grand jury documents, from Florida, they're about to be released. So with enough push and enough people getting behind something, the world can be moved. And, Mr. Whitley better understand that there's a lot of people out there that want to see justice in this case, or at the very least, a robust investigation, and what he has given us falls very short of that. When he was asked about the memo that the AG sent to the governor, which called Grant's death a homicide, he said he was not sure why he said that. Well, maybe because I know hear me out because he thought it was a homicide. Seeming baffled, he said, I just don't know why he would say it was a homicide. I can't answer to why he would say that, but I don't think it carries any weight, and he did not intend for it to carry weight as a homicide. He was not making a judgment. He wasn't. Why would he call it a homicide then? If it's not a homicide, you don't call it a homicide. There's been allegations that it was a homicide, and he Solomon has alleged that it's a homicide, but the facts show that it was not a homicide. It was a tragic accident. It's a terrible thing. It's agonizing for everybody, while not you, obviously, Mr. Whitless Whitley. I mean, he was a great-looking young man. What does that have to do with it? I don't care what he looked like. He was a young man with a promising future, and people who loved him, and now he's gone. And you're going to sit on your hands and give us this bullshit rhetoric nonsense? And he was tall, and active, and athletic, and it was just sad, sad thing, but just because it was a tragic death does not make it a criminal act. It was just a pure parking lot accident. Oh, okay, well, since Mr. Whitley told us it was just a pure parking lot accident, I guess we should all believe him. Grant's parents, Angie and Erin, are divorced, and have had a tumultuous relationship, and the children were living with her at the time of their son's death. But Whitley stood by his word that the police have looked into the case more than once, and that there is nothing else to look into. He added, "I've been a prosecutor for many years, and I prosecute anything that is feasible to prosecute, but this is not. This was a parking lot accident," he repeated. Oh, Mr. Whitley, big-time prosecutor down in Gallatin. Yeah, I'm sure that you're somebody that's being sought after over at the SDNY. And you know what's hilarious? I bet you this dude has no problem prosecuting people for smoking marijuana, bet you he's all over that down here in Tennessee, huh? And when they say send in the clowns, you know Mr. Whitley's queuing up. When DailyML.com contacted the Gallatin Police Department with further questions about the case, including if body cam footage was taken, PIO Michael Carmen responded, "Thank you for your inquiry about the Grant Solomon case. This is a closed investigation. The facts of this case do not support that a crime was committed." He added, "This was a very tragic accident, and our thoughts remain with the family of the young man who lost his life." What does that even mean? Talk about just platitudes and throwing out word salad. Basically, the same exact thing as Boss said. And I think that the Gallatin Police Department need to realize and understand that they don't work for the prosecutor. They work for the people. And the prosecutor, if that is an elected position that this man's in, then there should be a gigantic campaign to make sure that he's voted out. Because this is absolute BS. Despite the numerous roadblocks that she has faced, Angie continues to seek justice for his son Grant. A GoFundMe, created by Freedom for Gracie, was created to help raise funds so the family is able to do their own investigation into Grant's death. As of Thursday, the campaign has raised $127,854 towards their goal of $250,000. A Change.org petition has also gone viral to help reopen the investigation, which has garnered more than 325,000 signatures towards their goal of $500,000. The family said they planned to legally file for an exhumation and out-of-state autopsy on Grant. They're also working with a specialist to obtain a computerized accident reconstruction of the scene using the topography of the land and specs of the truck. Grant would have turned 22 in June. His grief-stricken mother will not rest until she gets justice for her son. And I can tell you that with confidence. Angie is not going to rest until she gets some action here, until somebody investigates what happened in a robust manner and gives her some answers that are worth more than the BS paper that they're written on. She recalled breaking down in hysterics when she reached the hospital and discovered he was dead. I hit the floor. I don't know what I did. I don't know how long I was down there. Now Angie says, "I believe that there are many unanswered questions and conflicting details around the death of my son Grant that weren't an investigation to be opened. The family hopes that these two new developments will help them get the answers they are desperately seeking. And Mr. Whitley, I want you to know that they're not alone. If you think that you're just going to ignore this and hope it goes away, you're wrong. That's not going to occur because Angie and Grant and Gracie's family, they deserve answers. And we're going to stand shoulder to shoulder with them as they continue to pursue justice. All right, folks, we're going to wrap this one up here, but as far as this story, this is just the tip of the iceberg. So at some point in the future, I'm going to reach out to Angie and have her come back on so that you folks can hear it directly from the source. And if what she asked to say doesn't anger you, I don't know what will. All of the information that goes with this article can be found in the description box. Hey, everyone.
