One of the biggest threats to the Mexican government is the proliferation of high powered, technologically advanced weapons coming into the posession of the cartels. Considering Mexico has already lost aircraft to anti-air fire from the cartels, it is certainly something they are well aware of. However, with the expansion of the war in Ukraine and the influx of high powered weaponry on the battlefield, how long before some of that advanced technology finds its way into the hands of the cartels?



In this episode, we hear how El Chapo's son had an Anti Aircraft gun in his room and how the presence of such weaponry gives the cartels a big advantage over the Mexican military.
