The Taliban has significantly increased its enforcement of recently passed edicts that are aimed at keeping women covered from head to toe. Not only are they showing up in tv studios to do make sure people are complying, but they are also in the marketplace and on minibuses. Meanwhile, famine, war and corruption continue to wrack the country with no solutions in sight.
