Turkey is uniquely set up, geographically speaking as a the gateway between Europe and Asia and for decades, heroin smugglers exploited the location and used it as a major thoroughfare to transport heroin from Asia into Europe. Now, however, things have changed and since Fentanyl has stormed onto the scene making the heroin game take a hit, cocaine has now become a huge money maker for Narco's in Turkey.
