Judges Matter has called on Parliament to select only the best MPs to be part of the Judicial Service Commission and Magistrates Commission. This comes after the nomination of MK Party parliamentary leader John Slope for the Judicial Service Commission. Slope is the former Western Cape Judge President who was impeached for misconduct by the Commission. He was found guilty of attempting to influence constitutional court judges in a corruption matter involving former President Jacob Zuma who is now the MK Party leader. Judges Matter spokesperson, Mbéké Zehliz, Benjamin. Parliament needs to come to the party and select only those members who will meet high ethical standards. An obvious disqualifier is anyone who has been found guilty or has been implicated in serious ethical or misconduct. President Siro Ramaphosa's newly appointed National Executive will take the oath of office in Cape Town this morning. The Executive is made up of 76 members including 23 ministers and 43 Deputy Ministers, Newswatches to Masha Kani reports. File three have been reassigned as deputies under DA Ministers. Among the coalition partners, IFP President Vellinquosini-Klabisa has been appointed as the new Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs. Other party leaders in the new cabinet include UDM President Bandu Holomisa, now the Deputy Minister of Defense and Military Veterans.
