Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus was meeting with His disciples, trying to explain to them how things were going to be totally different because He was going to leave them. This is very shortly before the trial, the crucifixion, and the resurrection. Listen to John 16-7, New King James, "Nevertheless, I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the helper will not come to you, but if I depart, I will send him to you." Jesus was promising the coming of the Holy Spirit to manifest Himself in and through believers in Christ, and so He is telling them the truth.
