[music] You're listening to "Telling the Truth" from Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries, "Telling the Truth to and Through Teenagers." Here is Triple T. founder and president, George Dooms. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus was speaking to Nicodemus, and Jesus said to him, "If I have told you earthly things, and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?" John 3.12, New King James Version. Listening to the truth is the way to get it together with the Lord, and the ministry you are listening to is endeavoring to tell the truth to and through teenagers. As you pray, we will go with the gospel, and we want to help you go to to attend a 19-year-old who needs Jesus. If you will call 812-867-2418, we will send you the Triple T. New King James Bible, so that you can give it to a person who needs to know how to get to heaven. God's ABCs are in the inside front flap. We want you to know that you have the opportunity to give God's infallible word to someone who needs the Lord. So to get your Bible to give to attend a 19-year-old, call now 812-867-2418. And when you call, let us know how we can best pray for you. Let us work together to reach youth with God's glorious gospel. Tell us the person for whom you are concerned. Let us know that name, and we will pray for Him or her and for you as you go with the gospel. Listen to John 4.25, New King James Version. The woman said to him, "I know that Messiah is coming, who is called Christ. When He comes, He will tell us all things. Jesus said to her, 'I who speak to you, am He.'" God wants us to know that Jesus tells the truth all the time, and He wants us to tell the truth about Him. Telling the truth becomes our prerogative, our opportunity, our responsibility. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except by Me." And so today, think about someone between the ages of 10 and 19, whom you know, who may not know Christ, but who could, if you would tell them how. We offer you a New King James Triple T Bible. To get yours, call 812-867-2418. And tell us the name of the youth to whom you are going to give this Bible. Again, to get your Bible to give, call 812-867-2418. Know that as you share the truth, the infallible Word of God, somebody can get to heaven because you tell them how. Will you? Call now. 812-867-2418. Jesus had been confronted by some Pharisees. He was sharing with them, and then He said, "But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me." John 845, New King James Version. Oftentimes, people just don't believe the truth. Jesus Himself was telling the truth. He was letting people know how to get to heaven. He was telling them who He was in essence, and they did not believe. Unbelief is the sin that sends people to hell. And because of unbelief, our world is in desperate need of hearing the truth. So will you share the truth? Tell people to admit they have sinned. To believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, to tell others about Him, confessing Him publicly. We have for you a New King James Triple T Bible. To give to a 10 to 19-year-old, call 812-867-2418 to get your Bible. We'll be praying with you and for you. If you will tell us the name of the person for whom you're concerned, and then we will send the Bible to you when you call 812-867-2418. Let's work together to share God's great, wonderful news with people who need to know how to get to heaven. You can, if you will, so call now. Jesus was endeavoring to share the truth with some people who did not believe. Listen to John 846, New King James. Which of you can fix me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe me? Jesus was totally above sin. He had never sinned. He was tempted but never gave in. And these sinners were accusing Him. And so He is telling them the truth, but they don't believe. The truth will set you free, Jesus said. And so we want to present to you a Bible that you can give to a 10 to 19-year-old so that you can tell them the truth. To admit that they have sinned, to believe on Christ, to confess Him publicly. To get your Bible to give to a youth for whom you are concerned, call now. 812-867-2418. And let us know how we can pray for you and for the person for whom you are concerned. To get your Bible to give to a 10 to 19-year-old, call now. 812-867-2418. Together we can reach youth for the Lord Jesus Christ. Will you partner with us? We have a Bible to send your way. Call now and it will come to you so that you can give it to someone who needs Jesus. Jesus was meeting with His disciples, trying to explain to them how things were going to be totally different because He was going to leave them. This is very shortly before the trial, the crucifixion, and the resurrection. Listen to John 16-7, New King James. Nevertheless, I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the helper will not come to you. But if I depart, I will send Him to you. Jesus was promising the coming of the Holy Spirit to manifest Himself in and through believers in Christ. And so He is telling them the truth. The truth needs to be told to every possible person, especially youth. We have a New King James Triple T Bible for you to give to a 10-19 year old for whom you are concerned. Call 812-867-2418. We will send a Bible to you and we would appreciate your telling us how we can pray for you and with you and for the person to whom you are going to present the Bible. Call now 812-867-2418. And as you present this Bible know that it has God's plan of salvation on the inside front. Shortly before He was ready to be crucified, buried, and rise again, Jesus was leveling with His disciples. Listen to John 16-25, New King James. "These things I have spoken to you in figurative language, but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father." That was a promise that Jesus certainly kept. The disciples were curious and they were perplexed. Today we have the truth. Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures. He was buried and He rose again the third day. That's the gospel. And that story needs to be told effectively and urgently, especially to youth. So to help you, we have for you the New King James Triple T Bible for you to give to attend a 19-year-old who needs the Lord. To get yours, call 812-867-2418. We want to provide a Bible for you to give to a youth who needs Jesus. Call now 812-867-2418. Let us know how we can pray with you and for you and for the person for whom you are concerned. We promise we will, if you will call. So call now. John was at the cross. He saw the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus, and he writes in John 1935, New King James, "And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true, and he knows that he is telling the truth so that you may believe." Do you believe? Do you really believe that Jesus Christ, son of God, was born of a virgin, lived sinlessly, was tempted but never yielded, died for your sins, was buried and rose again, and the resurrected Christ wants to live in your heart and the heart of everyone who will believe on him? We have for you the whole truth, the Bible, New King James Triple T. Virgin. For you to give to a 10 to 19 year old who needs the Lord. Call now 812-867-2418. And get your Bible. Let us know how to pray with you and for you and for the person to whom you are going to give that Bible. Call now 812-867-2418. Tell the truth, go with the Gospel. Know that as you pray and then deliberately share Christ, wonderful things can happen. Every Saturday at 7.27 p.m., you are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T, 13,000 US-41 North at Boone Building Harmony Road, midway between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport. Every first Saturday a good news club for ages 6 to 9 is available in a separate room. For more information call 812-867-2418 or visit www.tripletchristianyouth.org. And the word of the Lord was being spread throughout all the region, Acts 1349, New King James. Triple T Saturday nights continue, week in, week out, month in, month out, year in, year out, decade in, decade out. November 1, the tribute rally and celebration of Mary Doom's life in ministries was a God-blessed evening. It was very encouraging to have so many Triple T alumni from every generation attend. When Dave Swambach asked how many attendants were serving as pastors, spouses, deacons, elders, teachers, youth workers or otherwise involved in ministry, nearly half of the audience responded. Triple T alumnus and board member Dave Kelly opened the evening in prayer. Bill and Jan Medcalf drove up from Nashville and Jan played beautiful background music on the Kimball Grand Piano that the Lord used Bill to make possible several years ago. Mary's niece, Kathy Greer Beeman, accompanied by her husband Don sang some of Mary's favorite songs. Al Reisner flew his own plane from Indianapolis and took pictures. Other alumni drove in from across Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. Buster Maine, Zack Slater, Brian Fuller, Dave Swambach, Martha Kelly, Phillip Foltz, Bruce Vanofen, Ron Moore, Linda Carrico, Bill Medcalf and other Triple T alumni and friends prayed and/or shared heartwarming and sometimes surprising stories of ways God had used Mary in their lives. Tammy shared from her heart about her mom's faithful quiet service and encouragement and issued a challenge from Philippians 4-9. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me these do and the God of peace will be with you. I shared highlights of our life and ministries together and Tammy and I presented the continuing mission and vision of Triple T. As we presented the gospel in an invitation to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, one more young man responded and was prayed with personally. Pastor Dan Sigler led the Tiger Cub Good News Club for six to nine-year-olds who attended that night, many of whom are the children or grandchildren of Triple T alumni. The evening wrapped up with the dedication of Mary's Kitchen at the Thirsty Tooth Snack Shop as Jeff Mobley and Stan Digman prayed and shared. The theme for November is set your goals, S-E-T, saturation, evangelism, telling the truth. The adopted school challenge was presented. Phase one is to pray for the students in every school within 100 miles of Triple T, 93 Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky counties. Phase two is to begin reaching the students in each high school and middle school one by one, raising the needed seed capital and training three students in peer evangelism and leadership who will share the gospel with 20 of their peers. Phase three is to produce a Tiger Team Impact Evangelistic Youth effort on or near school campuses partnering with local congregations and ministries. December six is to be Jesus' birthday party with layer cakes depicting the gospel using the wordless book concept. Long time friend, Heidi Metzger of Kansas City Youth for Christ gave Mary the idea and recipe. The cakes have been a Triple T tradition for several years. Last December, Mary shared the recipe and know-how with Carol Young's and Shelley Bernard. They plan to make the cakes for December six. Plans and preparations are now getting underway toward Tiger Team impacts the first six months of 2015. As Triple T moves toward our year of Jubilee to go God willing from February 7, 2015 to Triple T's 50th anniversary, February 6, 2016, the goal is to connect and reconnect with pastors and youth workers with Bible-believing church youth groups and Sunday schools in all 93 tri-state counties and billboards, print, radio, TV, newspapers continue to be utilized. Showing the truth is being heard daily now. On 38 stations across the country and online via podcast and at www.ttchristianyouth.org. Triple T sponsors 13 motorcycle Sunday schools in Africa and Asia. The Mary Dooms Memorial Sunday School in Honduras was announced Saturday, November 1. It will be the first in Central America and is scheduled to begin in early 2015. The Triple T team continues to expand as more people are volunteering to make the mission possible. Many were involved November 1 and plan to continue helping. We are very grateful for everyone who is praying and participating financially and physically. We are especially thankful for Shelley Bernard, Jeff and Bobby Mobley, Carol Youngs, Richard Comer, Steve Forester, James Dooms, Kim Foltz and some of the world's greatest teenagers who faithfully serve week by week in a variety of ministry areas up front and behind the scenes. We have been overwhelmed by the prayers and personal communications from hundreds and hundreds of friends from all six populated continents, 19 countries and 28 states. Your prayers are sustaining us and giving wonderful comfort. Our trust is totally in the Lord and we are so grateful for His goodness to us and for the many, many friends who are praying and sharing. We want to pray with you and for you too. We want you to know that we are so excited about what's coming down the pike. It will be presented on December the 6th, Lord willing, and it is called the Preparations for the Year of Jubilee. Triple T, as I just said, will begin the year of Jubilee on February 7, 2015, going all the way to February 6, 2016. Seven generations of teenagers, seven times 749, and that will be in February 2015. Youth of Enzem Association, local church, Bible believing, church youth groups and Sunday schools are being invited to be members of YEA. And everybody who determines to do this will be given lots and lots of resources. Leaders will receive restart, nine weeks, videos in all the instructions and background, training for three, 10 to 19 year olds, and then key leadership training and materials available for adult youth workers. We're thrilled about what God has done and is doing and what we believe he's going to do. All of this kicks off on the 22nd of February of 2015 and goes for nine weeks. And as we watch the Lord work, we're really, really thrilled because of what can happen. It's six weeks before Easter, Easter Sunday, and then two weeks following. It will be an opportunity to reach out to youth who need the Lord. And the Sunday school or the youth group will be able to show a video. They won't be long, but they will be concise and they will be very dynamic and they will share the gospel. And they will share one of the nine, what we call, faith factors. And each week we'll have the scriptures to go along with that. The plan of salvation will be presented with an invitation to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. And so as more and more churches understand the opportunity that we are giving them to partner together, we're going to watch God do tremendous things. And we're thrilled again because of what has already happened and what is going to happen in the days before us. We want you to focus your passion, to win youth to Christ. There are several aspects of all of this. It's the why. Today's culture is devastating younger and younger youth, temptations abound, absolutes are missing in action. Following John 3 16, the best known and most often quote verse in the entire New Testament, Jesus continued, "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." And this is the condemnation that light is coming to the world, and men love darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they may have been done in God. That's John 3 17 through 21, New King James Version. Stay tuned because we're going to be presenting to you more scripture from Romans 5. And then we're going to be letting you know about the what, the when, the where, the who, and the why of youth evangelism. We're here for you, so don't go away. Stay there and let us share with you some more very, very pertinent things, especially from the Word of God. In Romans 5 18 through 21 Paul explained, "Therefore, as through one man's offense, judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation. Even so, through one man's righteous act, the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience, many were made sinners. So also by one man's obedience, many will be made righteous. Moreover, the law entered that the offense might abound, but where sin abounded, grace abounded much more. So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." What is youth evangelism association? YEA is a network of ministries to teenagers using a biblical approach in ministry, methods and standards. Each affiliate is locally governed with the right to develop programs of evangelism as God directs, holding high standards of Christian separation, Bible teaching and victorious Christian lifestyles. Local churches and inter-nominational ministries to teenagers affiliated with YEA use a variety of ideas and methods in a constant endeavor to reach teenagers effectively. YEA is aggressively evangelistic. The plan of salvation and an open invitation to publicly profess personal faith in Jesus Christ is included in public meetings. YEA is Bible-believing. The inspiration and fallibility and an erancy of the Bible as the Word of God is the foundation on which this organization is built. YEA is church-connected. Local Bible-believing churches are recognized as God's choice, institutions worldwide. Involvement and cooperation with such churches is vital. Youth Evangelism Association is when? Well, it's 24/7. Whenever and wherever youth are, the vision is to challenge adults to coach, equip and train youth to actively and responsibly reproduce the life of Christ with their peers. Boldly share the gospel to win their unsaved peers to Christ. Consistently study the Bible with a view toward spiritual maturity. Youth Evangelism Association annually conducts a convention and youth workers' intensive training conference, sharing such topics as impacting your community for Christ, foundations of effective ministries, current teen issues, peer evangelism and biblical training, public relations, youth ministry resources and ideas, and more, especially helping smaller church youth ministries thrive. Where is Youth Evangelism Association? YEA goes literally across America through the evangelistic efforts of YEA affiliates whenever and to whomever they minister. YEA is worldwide through Teen Missions International and other affiliates going into 40, 50, 60 countries each year. Bible clubs have been established by Christian students in all 50 states, 9 Canadian provinces and several other countries since 1990, when the Supreme Court upheld the Equal Access Act. The goal is to have YEA affiliated inter-nominational youth organizations and/or local church youth ministries in all 3,141 U.S.A. counties and internationally. YEA's headquarters are here in Evansville, Indiana, on the campus of Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries. Who is Youth Evangelism Association? YEA is people with a passion to reach out to youth with God's glorious gospel. Five directors of Evangelistic Youth Ministries co-founded YEA in 1973. It was my privilege to be one of those, along with Vicka Lyason in Milwaukee, Jim Harris from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Al Metzger from Kansas City, Dick Snavely from Math, New York. Being moved by the desperate spiritual need among the world's young people to know Christ as their only hope and having an desire to provide the most effective vehicle through which God called men and women and scripturally sound organizations can work to reach youth for Christ, we propose to group ourselves into a fellowship to be known as Youth Evangelism Association Incorporated. YEA is governed by a board of directors, elected annually at the Council of Delegates at the Annual Convention. Membership in Youth Evangelism Association is open to like-minded organizations, local church youth ministries and individuals. All members must be committed to the vision, purpose and distinctives of YEA and sign the YEA Statement of Faith without reservation.
