[music] You're listening to "Telling the Truth" from Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries, "Telling the Truth to and Through Teenagers." Here is Triple T. Founder and President, George Dumes. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace to you in peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1-2, New King James Version. Grace is available. Grace is abundant. God wants each of us to have the grace and peace that only He can provide. It comes from the Father through the Lord Jesus to those who have believed on Him, who have admitted they have sinned, who have told others about Him, and are willing to go with the gospel to folk who need the Lord. Are you one of those? Have you been born again? Have you given Jesus first place in your circumstance? Are you willing to tell other people how they can go to heaven? I hope you will. We want to put into your hands a copy of the New King James Version Bible. All you have to do is call 812-867-2418. And that Bible will be sent to you so that you, in turn, can give it to somebody who needs the Lord, especially someone between the ages of 10 and 19. Do you know that 85% of everyone who comes to know Christ does so before turning 20? Will you go with the gospel to someone in that age group and share Jesus? Call 812-867-2418. There are people out there that you could reach. There are youth who could be saved if you would tell them how. God's Word is inspired. It's infallible and it is available to change everything about you. It's filled with promises. Listen to Ephesians 1-3-New King James Version. "Bless be God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Did you know that God wants to continue to bless you and the best way to be blessed is to serve the Lord? First, you pray, "God, make me usable and use me." Secondly, keep reading the entire book of Ephesians. Watch God speak to your heart, and thirdly, be in fellowship with other believers, and then finally, consistently go with the gospel. We want to give you a copy of the New King James Bible. It's to give away. It's especially geared to youth, those between 10 and 19. Our vision? Every youth before turning 20 to have the opportunity to hear the gospel. Call 812-867-2418 for your Bible. That's 812-867-2418. There are youth out there who need the Lord and you can reach them. Will you give a Bible to someone who needs Jesus? Call now. Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. That's Ephesians 1-4, New King James Version. God's Word is packed with information and inspiration for you and for me. There is so much in that one verse. Look at it. Let God speak to your heart through it. Understand that He loves you and that Jesus died so that you, by believing on Him, could live forever because He didn't stay dead. He was buried and He rose again on the third day. That's the gospel. The sinless life, the death, the burial, the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. And because Christ died for our sins, we need to be thanking Him for that and telling other people how they too can get to heaven. We have a copy of God's Word, the Bible, New King James Version, to send to you, to give to someone who needs the Lord, especially someone between the ages of 10 and 19. Will you do that? Call 812-867-2418. And we'll enclose with it copies of God's ABCs. To get your Bible to give away, call 812-867-2418. Call now. Have you turned to Jesus from your sins asking Him to forgive you? Have you received the gift of God, eternal life? Have you told people that you are a believer and they can be too? If so, this is just for you. To the praise of glory of His grace by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. That's a fantastic promise from Ephesians chapter 1, verse 6, New King James Version. And if you would like to put something into effect to help other people receive the gift of God, we want to put into your hands a copy of the New King James Bible. It's especially geared to youth. And we want you to be able to have one to give away. You know who's out there? I hope you have a concern for some people between the ages of 10 and 19 who don't know the Lord, but who could if someone like you would tell them how. That's why we want to put this Bible into your hands to give to someone who needs Christ. Call 812-867-2418. That's 812-867-2418. It will send you a Bible to give to someone who needs the Lord again between the ages of 10 and 19 if you will. Will you do that? I believe God can make you usable and use you today. Ephesians 1, 7 is packed with a promise that's eternal. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgive grace. Isn't that fantastic? That's for you. That's for me. When we've believed in the Lord Jesus, having turned to Him from our sins, received from Him the gift of God, being willing to share Him with others who need to know Him. There are some 10 to 19 year olds who really need the Lord who live near you. Will you go to them with the Gospel? We want to send you the New King James Bible, the whole Bible. It's geared for youth. It has God's ABC's on the inside front flap, on the inside back flap. It's got God's top 10, the 10 commandments. Inside is the entire Word of God, inspired, infallible, inherent and changeless. To get yours, call 812-867-2418. Determine who you are going to give this Bible to who needs the Lord. Someone out there needs Jesus. Call 812-867-2418. We'll send you the Bible and we'll put with it copies of God's ABC's for you to give to as many people as you will. Prayerfully, presenting the Gospel. Will you? Call us. Call now. Which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and providence. Ephesians 1-8, New King James Version. God loves you. And He's doing these things for you so that you can be made usable to serve Him. If you know the Lord, do you have a compassion for those who don't, especially youth? The youth of our world need three things. They need a flag to salute, a slogan to believe, a leader to follow. The leader is the Lord Jesus Christ. The flag is the Christian flag. Unfurl that flag, that flag of faith. And understand that God will make you usable and use you if you will allow that to happen. We have a copy of God's Word, the Bible, the whole Bible, New King James Version, for you to give to someone who needs the Lord. Someone between the ages of 10 and 19. Will you do that? Will you be the catalyst? Will you be the communicator? Will you go with the Gospel? Call 812-867-2418. Ask for your Bible. We'll put with it as many of God's ABCs as you will prayerfully present to others. Call 812-867-2418. We're looking forward to hearing from you. Why not pick up your phone and call right now? Ericod 812-867-2418. We have a Bible for you to give to someone. Call 812-867-2418. Call 812-867-2418. Call 812-867-2418. Let us know in the comments below. If you have a copy of the Bible, please give us a copy of the Bible. We have a copy of the Bible for you to give to someone who needs Jesus. Call 812-867-2418. Let us know that you're prayerfully considering telling someone who needs the Lord how to get to heaven. Do you know that 85% of everyone who comes to know Christ does so before age 20? Someone, someone young enough to not only come to know the Lord but to serve Him with their life is waiting for you to get the Gospel to them to tell them how to get to heaven. Let's partner in youth evangelism. Every Saturday at 7.27 p.m. you are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T, 13,000 US-41 North at Booneville in Harmony Road, Midway between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport. Every first Saturday, a good news club for ages 6 to 9 is available in a separate room. For more information call 812-867-2418 or visit www.tripletchristianyouth.org. Triple Division Youth Ministries took teams of students and leaders to 15 Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky County Fairs and Street Festivals for fair share 2014. Between July 7 and August 9, a task force of more than 50 dividing into teams of four or more collectively traveled more than 10,000 miles in 10 different vehicles. They shared one-on-one with over 2,600 individuals giving cups of cold water and copies of God's ABCs to fair gores. At least 170 people made the decision to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. We have with us today, Shelly Bernard, who has been working with Triple T Christian Youth Ministries for several, starting to say months, but it's actually years now. And she was very involved with fair share 2014 as she has been the last several years. Shelly, give us just a bird's eye view as to what you felt you were watching God do as you were coordinating the traveling tigers and a whole lot more during fair share 2014. Okay, well, we saw a lot of people come to know Christ. I think it was 170 was the total of people who made a decision for Christ. And we saw teenagers who were excited to share the gospel and be a part of that and just overall they grew and they were strengthened in their faith. And not just by the people who accepted Christ, but by the people that they got thanked for being there. People who were coming up and saying thank you for being at the fair. And Shelly, you got to go to several of those fairs. There was one week when we went to six different counties the same week and we were dividing the teams night by night by night. And you got to go to several different fairs that week as well as other weeks. In addition to all of that, you worked with what we call the traveling tigers. Tiger means teens involved going evangelizing regularly. And you did a Bible study. It was a special book that you were sharing with the people that were with you. And the name of that book was the burning heart contract. Okay, and it talks about prayer and about how you can really understand God's willingness to listen to us whatever we have to share with him. And he will hear and he will answer. The Bible tells us consistently that if we will ask, we will receive and we are to continue to do this all the time. Do you feel that the kids that we were working with got the concept and learned to pray more diligently and more expectantly? Oh, yes. Especially out at the fairs. They would come back in for the tent after talking with somebody and come up to me and say, "Shelly, we need to pray for this person. They don't know Christ or Shelly. I just prayed with this person and we need to pray for them that we need to pray that the devil will stay away so that they can grow in Christ." It's a wonderful thing to be able to teach and train youth for Christ. In Triple T's mission is a very, very ardent one. Join the truth, two through teenagers, to win them to Christ and teach them for Christ, to train them for Him. Teaching them how to share their faith through their local churches, on their campuses, throughout their communities and in their world where God leads them in their future. Did you see any differences between the people that were attending the fairs in Illinois, from Kentucky, from Indiana, or were they all kind of the same? Or did you see some distinctives? I think they're very distinctive just between different counties. I mean, each county has its own personality. And yeah, definitely there is a difference between Indiana and Illinois and Kentucky. And the wonderful thing is that you were able to give away literally hundreds and hundreds of cups of cold water. It wasn't the hottest summer we've ever had, and so we didn't give away quite as much cold water as we have in the past, but it was still gallon after gallon after gallon, day after day after day, during the five weeks of fair share this year. Are there any highlights that you would like to share that you watched God do a special thing, a special work in the hearts and lives of some of the people you were working with, or even you, as you were out there at fair share 2014? Well, there were a couple of girls that really had a great testimony after the fair, and they blew me away. One of them, she says she was able to talk to a woman who didn't have anybody. One of the questions is, "If your best friend died at night, would they go to heaven?" She said that she didn't have a best friend, and that blew her away, and it blew me away whenever I heard about it, and she actually had a burden on her heart to find this girl after she let her go, and to get her information not just so that we could have it to contact her, but that she could personally have it to contact her so that she could become a friend. That's a wonderful thing, because there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother, and of course that friend is Jesus, but we can be a friend to the friendless. And there are a lot of people out there who are very lonely, and they just don't know where to turn, and God is there. He's available no matter where we are, no matter what our circumstance, but it takes a person who cares to relate and to be involved. And I'm so delighted about what happened in that particular case with those two young ladies who met each other and who are now developing a friendship across the miles. Another quick question, you have been involved in fair share for a long time. You started in Mount Carmel, Illinois, and I'll always remember that particular occasion, but that was just the beginning, and the next year you went again and again and again. And you've been all over the tri-state in county after county, fair after fair, situation after situation, and working with all kinds of people, especially the traveling tigers, because every year it's a different, we say crop, a different group, and these are the sewers of the seeds of the gospel. And we work with Teen Missions International, and you were privileged to be involved with a lot of them in the dormitories. We have three A-frame dorms that house eight each, and they were almost filled every night during three weeks of fair share as we were housing people from across the United States, actually from coast to coast, literally. From all the way from Portland, Oregon, down to Florida, and that's a long way back and forth. But Shelley, you had some wonderful experiences also in the dorms as you were praying with the girls at night and listening to some of their prayer requests and challenging them to get enough rest, to be ready to get up and get going the next day, and all the things that were before them. Any particular little stories or highlights are just how God used you in that particular setting in the dorms. Oh, well, we had a great group of girls who loved praying for other people. We, of course, every night before we go to bed, ask for any prayer requests and everything, and pray for people back home and for the people at the fairs, and they had a real burden for those people at home that didn't know Christ. And so we got to grow and grow and be closer together just through the prayers that we had for each other. The wonderful thing about fair share is not only do we have the privilege of going out, we always start with a chapel, with a challenge before we load the vehicles. And Shelley was in charge of making sure the right stuff got in the right vehicle and got to the right fair. And that was a chore in itself, to say the least, because we had two large containers of ice water, and we had the tent itself that we had to take out the first night, and tables, and bibles that we gave away. We gave away lots and lots of copies of Triple T's New King James version of the Bible, and we just had a lot of things happen. But it was a challenge to make sure that everybody got the right thing, and the right vehicle, and it went to the right fair with the right people in the vehicle to go to that fair. Any particular highlights of that or challenges, or was it just saying, "Well, I'm sure glad that that's over. It happened, and we're glad it happened." A lot of days, yes. We were able to really utilize the students this year with that, because we had the 15 of the BMW students come up, and they really were an excellent help in getting that stuff out there and keeping it organized and everything. BMW stands for Bible Missionary Work Training Center, and there are 20 of these around, and over 20 of them around the world, but the one that's in Merid Island, Florida, in the headquarters of Teen Missions, is the one that had 15 first-year students with us during fair share. We'll be talking more about that, and about four in particular, that decided that they weren't ready to go home yet, they wanted to stay here and keep going with the gospel. So you stay tuned, because we're going to ask some more questions. We'll let her tell you some more things about what God did, not only the summer, but what He's done in her life. So keep listening, and we will come back in just a few moments with more information just for you, so don't go away. [Music] BMW, not a car, Bible Missionary Work Training Center, and the girls that were here, and the guys too, really were workers, and God used them magnificently during the time that we were out at the fair. The great thing is that there were 15 of them that came, but when it was time for them to return with all the others, as the vehicles departed for Florida, there were four girls that said, "Can we stay the last two weeks because we didn't have anybody except us?" At the five weeks, three weeks were already gone, and the last two weeks we had three fairs, and so these four decided to stay, and Shelley was working with them diligently all the time, got really well acquainted with them, especially on the right home, but tell us about those four young ladies, Shelley, and any highlights about them. They were really fun. All four had a really big heart for God, and I know that Beth really was excited about sharing the gospel. She's really interested in missions and such, and I really see that God's going to work in her and send her where she can share the gospel with others. Beth is from the Panhandle of Florida. Another young lady was from about as far away as you can get from Florida to Portland, Oregon. Talk about Ray. Ray's really quiet. She was excited to share God as well with other people with Cher Christ, but I'll take the people that you guys are already talking, and so Ray was quiet, but she was studious. The other two, there was a young lady whose name was Julie, and she played piano, and she was a very, very special musician and a very dynamic young lady, and she was from South Carolina, real close to North Carolina, and her dad's a pastor, and so we learned a lot about her, but she was, I guess you might say, the kind of the dynamo of the group because she was always active. Anything special about Julie? Julie would like to pick on me. Julie has a big heart, and she and I are really good friends now, and I definitely see her helping out and pastoring a church and stuff. The other person that was with us on those four is from Mississippi, and talk about her for a moment. Lila, yeah, Lila was also a person who liked to have fun, and she loved books, and she could tell stories. Oh my goodness, she could tell stories. I loved listening to Lila tell stories. And her stories were true stories. They were not just made up stuff, but they were stories, a lot of them were biographical sketches of people that she read about, and she just wants to learn about everybody that she can, especially those that are serving the Lord. So it was quite a diverse group of four, and so we were really happy they were here, sad to see them go, and Shelley had a privilege of driving them all the way back to Florida in a very small Grand Am automobile with five people in that car for all of that distance, mile after mile, but it was a wonderful thing to have them here. We're looking forward now to the future. On the 20th of September, we're having a CO2 poll prep rally, and our special guest is Chiz Writer. Chiz Writer is a trumpet expert, and I guess that would be the understatement. Shelley, have you ever seen anybody play trumpet quite the way Chiz does, and attract people to the Lord through the horn the way he is able to do it? I've never seen it before. And you were in a marching band, and you played trombone, as I did, as James did, and so you were there with some trumpet players, but nobody quite liked Chiz, right? No, not like Chiz. Chiz Writer plays two trumpets at once, and he plays the garden hose, and he plays expertly, as we've said, and it's going to be a wonderful night, and you're invited at 727 Saturday, the 20th of September. And that day we're having a leading youth day, getting ready for CO2 poll, which will happen God willing on Wednesday the 24th of September, and we're looking forward to having as many people as possible coming for the training day. In the 15 counties where we were plus Vanderburg, there are over 200 schools, high schools, and middle schools, and so we're going to be working with and praying for the students in those schools. And notice, Christ through you can change the world. Every Saturday at 727 PM, you are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T, 13,000 US-41 North at Boone Building Harmony Road, midway between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport. Every first Saturday, a good news club for ages 6 to 9 is available in a separate room. For more information call 812-867-2418, or visit www.tripletchristianyouth.org.
