(♪♪♪) You're listening to "Telling the Truth" from Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries, "Telling the Truth to and Through Teenagers." Here is Triple T. Founder and President George Dumes. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Listen in a very personal way to Galatians 6-4, New King James Version. But let each one examine his own work alone and not in another. That special promise from God's Word to you is if you are a believer. If Christ is in your heart, it's time to check up on yourself consistently and make certain you are doing what God would have you to do that you are following his divine design for you individually. There are people out there whom you could reach if you would. We have a gift for you. It's God's Word, New King James, the Bible. And it's free for you. If you will let us know, you will not only take it and look at it, but give it to somebody who needs the Lord. And we will enclose with it copies of God's ABCs. To get your Bible and your ABC packet, call 812-867-2418. That's 812-867-2418. And know this, you can accomplish wonderful things and you can rejoice and be glad because you are serving the Lord. Give that Bible to a youth, someone between 10 and 19, if you will. What kind of load are you carrying? Do you know that God will help you determine what it is you are to do and he will help you carry your load? Galatians 6-5, New King James says, "For each one shall bear his own load." What a load it is to know that you and I are responsible for those with whom we come in contact to share with them the glorious gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. That's our load, your load, my load. But let us look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. The Bible says, "Bear one another's burdens, and so we want to pray with you for the people you are concerned about knowing Christ and we want to give you a tool, in fact, several tools." The first is God's Word, the Bible, New King James Version. It's free and it's for you, not just to have for yourself, but to read, to heed, and to give away along with copies of God's ABCs. They are printed on the inside front cover, God's ABCs. What's an extra copy to you if you let us know how many will prayerfully use. We want these to be a tool in your hands to help you with the load you are carrying. To get yours, call 812-867-2418. That's 812-867-2418. Listen to Galatians 6-6, New King James Version. Let him who has taught the Word share in all good things with him who teaches. Do you know that there are people that you could say thank you to, in a very special way, a current or former Sunday school teacher, a pastor who cared or cares for you, an evangelist who gave the gospel to you and you responded, people in communications ministries sharing the gospel. You can thank those folks and you should. Meanwhile, why don't you take the gospel, the Word of God, and give it to someone who needs Jesus? We want to send you a packet and we want you to think especially about 10 to 19 year olds that you could reach if you could give this gift of eternal life, eternal significance, and I hope you will. We will enclose with the Bible copies of God's ABCs. To get yours, call 812-867-2418. That's 812-867-2418. Yes, you can have a Bible to give away. God's Word will not return void. Preferably consider someone, a youth that you know who needs Jesus and give Him or her God's Word. Do you believe that the Bible is inerrant, inspired, and totally true without any error? Do you believe the Bible? Listen to Galatians 6-7, New King James Version. Do not be deceived. God is not mocked for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Has God's Word become alive to you? Know that you could sow the seeds of the Gospel wherever you go. We've sent copies of God's ABCs to lots and lots of listeners, and we have been thrilled that hundreds of them are being distributed. But we also are delighted to share copies of God's Word, the New King James Bible. It's available to you. All you have to do to get yours is call 812-867-2418. The original purpose of offering this Bible to you is so you can give it to someone who needs the Lord, especially someone in the ages between 10 and 19. That's our target audience. That's the group we want to reach for Christ, and you can help do that. Will you pray and then consider giving a Bible to someone? 812-867-2418 is the number to call. Call now and prayerfully consider who you are going to give a Bible to so that they can know how to get to heaven God's way. Sewing and Reaping is a biblical concept. It's what makes the world go round. Listen to Galatians 6-8, New King James Version. For he who sows to his flesh will have the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit reap everlasting life. You can sow the seeds of God's word effectively, prayerfully, to people who need to know the Lord. We hope you will take the time to call and ask for a copy of the New King James Bible to give to someone, especially a youth between the ages of 10 and 19. These youth, those preteens and teenagers, need Jesus, and you can be the one to sow the gospel in their hearts. Will you? Call 812-867-2418 and ask for a copy of God's word. We will also enclose as many copies of God's ABCs as you would like to present to people. But the Bible is to give to someone who needs the Lord between the ages of 10 and 19. Will you do that? Call 812-867-2418. And you can call and let us know the person that you are endeavoring to present a Bible to in a very personal way. Will you do that? I hope you will. The vision of Triple T Christian Youth Ministries. Every youth, before turning 20, to have the opportunity to hear the gospel with an invitation to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. That's why we come to you every day with God's word, sharing the need to share His word with others. Listen to Galatians 6-9 New King James Version. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. That's why we consistently ask you to call us so that we can connect with you and help you be a creative Christian communicator to get the gospel to people, especially those between the ages of 10 and 19. We want to give you a copy of God's word, the New King James Version of the Bible. It's free for you to give away. We will also enclose copies of God's ABCs for you to give to people who also need Jesus. Call us now. 812-867-2418. That's 812-867-2418. Pray and call. You know that our ministry together will multiply if you take advantage of the opportunity of going with the gospel to people who need the Lord, especially teenagers and preteens. Listen to Galatians 6-10 New King James Version. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. What we want to do for you is to get you a copy of the New King James Version Bible to give away. Someone out there needs Jesus and you could reach them. Every youth needs to hear the message of salvation. They need to know. They need to admit they have sinned. To believe on the Lord Jesus. To confess Him publicly. God's ABCs are on the inside flap of every New King James Bible we give away. And we will enclose additional copies of God's ABCs along with the Bible. We want you to give it away. It's God's Word and He will bless you when you do this. We're coming to you because we believe you are one of those people of faith. Believers in Christ. Call 812-867-2418. That's 812-867-2418. Request your Bible to give to someone who needs the Lord. Together we can multiply our ministry. Every Saturday at 727 p.m. you are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T. 13,000 US-41 north at Boomville New Harmony Road midway between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport. Every first Saturday a good news club for ages six to nine is available in a separate room. For more information call 812-867-2418 or visit www.triple T christian youth.org. ♪ Youth ministry is the most exciting thing I know anything about. Not only because of what is happening currently but what happens to the people that you have contact with and what happens as they grow in the Lord and in life in general. And one of the privileges that we have had having been in the same place for so long now for 48 and a half years going very rapidly toward our 49th anniversary is the reactions and interactions with so many who are serving the Lord all over the world. One of the things that has been a real wonderful opportunity has been the connections and reconnections with Teen Missions International. Bob Bland and I have been friends a long, long time and Bob was the founder of Teen Missions shortly after we founded Triple T Christian Youth Ministries. We started in 1966 and Teen Missions started in 1970. But we had known of each other way before that. And again the Lord has been graciously allowing us to partner together in a thing that we call fair share in the summertime. And we've been privileged to have people coming our way and we've had preteens this summer, kids from 10 to 13. And of course last summer we had teenagers here from Teen Missions International. This summer we've been privileged to have 15 BMWs Bible Missionary Work Training Center students and four of them are still with us. And what a privilege it's been to get to know these young ladies in a special way. And because of what God has been doing in their hearts and lives and what we've been able to do together to serve the Lord effectively and efficiently in all kinds of ways and learning so many things that God is able to share with us through His Word. The foundation of everything that we do at Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries and Teen Missions International is the Word of God is absolutely true. It is without air of any kind. It's inspired. It's an errant. And it is life-changing. And that's why we share God's Word with you every time we come your way. In this radio broadcast we want you to know that God loves you. Jesus died for you. And the most important thing that I believe every Christian once they have admitted they have sinned and turned to Jesus from their sins and believed in the Lord Jesus and received His gift to eternal life is to grow in Christ and to be disciples of Him. And one of the great discipleship scriptures is Romans 12 and Romans 12 is filled with admonitions from the Lord. I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice holy, acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service and be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. One of the things that we're doing is trying to stretch the minds of these people that have been with us, these BMW students and we've had a thing called Youth Evangelism Academy and we've been able to share the concepts of the ongoing ministry that we call the nine faith factors and they're all biblically based. Everything is totally saturated by scripture. But it is a springboard to keep going and going and going with the gospel. Jesus said go and that's what we're doing and that's what we've been able to accomplish this summer by going to 15 different counties. And we're thrilled because not only what God has done but what he's going to do. One of the neat things that happened is the people that were here this summer got to go to the creation museum near Cincinnati, Ohio. Although it's located in Kentucky but it's kind of known as Cincinnati based. And so they've learned a lot by going there, by observing, by seeing things. Sometime ago it was our privilege to take all of our family there. We met there. James and his wife Yvonne and our four grandchildren and Mary and Tammy and I were able to go through the museum together and it was a delightful time to learn together and to observe what God has done. And the one thing that we noticed that happened at the end of this, our grandson Drennan had much, much energy and so as we were continuing to meander through and moving toward the bookstore he decided to go through it again and again. So he went through the museum three times in that same day really just observing everything that he could. And so the fun thing that we had to do together was to go into the bookstore. And we saw a lot of things there that helped us learn a lot about what God had done, what he's doing, what he wants to do. And one of the things that fascinated me the most was a book by my very special friend who's now with Jesus, Dave Breeze, and it's called "The Seven Men Who Rule the World from Their Grave." And to see that there in the bookstore was really a fascinating thing. And I talked to the people at the bookstore about it and they said, "Yes, it's one of their hallmark books that really helps people know what's wrong with our world and why and who did it and what we can do about it." And so ladies you have been here and you've been learning and you've been observing and absorbing. So tell me just right off the bat at least two titles of books that you have been exposed to, that you weren't before you came here, that you find fascinating and not only thought-provoking but helpful. One of the ones for me would be about Christians who have lived before us. It's 50 people that every Christian should know. And it was really, really interesting because I was able to go back and read about who the Lord has used in the past and the other would also be the one that you just mentioned. The seven people have ruled the world from the grave. That's been really cool to see how when people do not follow Christ as their Lord, they still have a great influence but it's not for him. Okay, thank you Lila. Joy. Oh, the one that I've really gotten into is the seven men who ruled the world from the grave. And it's fascinating how even years after what they have they believed in has been disproven that things that sprouted off of what they believed in have not stopped that people still believe in it years afterwards. An interesting thing is that because of that, that people are still confused. And one of the things that we find is that there are people who are actually living their lives on the basis of those false teachings of those people. And it has changed our country immensely because of all that. Well, the next thing I want to ask you as we wrap up our broadcast today with you two is what do you want to do next? What do you want to have happen because of your exposure to TripleTikas and youth ministries this summer and because of the use of ancient academy? I think that one thing I would really like to take back with me is being able to just go out and love anybody regardless of who they are and regardless of how they look or what they may say, just love them simply because they are people and they need to know about Christ. Okay, Julie? I want to be able to go out and talk to people and not be scared anymore about my faith and sharing it with them because the most important thing in the world is no Christ and that is what I need to be sharing with people more than anything. And one of the things that we want to do is constantly share Jesus, wherever we go, no matter what the circumstance might be, people out there need the love of God shared with them effectively. [Music] Well, the interesting things in the four young ladies that you are meeting and you've met two, you're going to meet two more, is the fact that they are tigers. They are still teenagers. They're 19, but that's okay because tiger means teens involved going evangelizing regularly. It's not a once-in-a-while thing, but it's a day-in day out, week-in, week-out, month-in, month-out, year-in, year-out, and a lifetime of sharing the good news and the saving power of Jesus Christ. When I was in college, we had a theme song for the largest class that any Christian university had ever had. There were 1,200 of us in that class, and our theme song was this. Souls for Jesus is our battle cry. Souls for Jesus will fight until we die. We never will give in, while souls are lost in sin. Souls for Jesus is our battle cry. It's based on the verse and proverbs that says, "He who wins souls is wise." And so, to have wise people, wise young ladies, accomplishing God's purpose for their lives now, and what He will do with them and for them in the future is great. But to be a tiger, you have to earn 3,000 points. And to earn those points, you have to attend Triple T on Saturday nights, local Bible believing churches and Sunday schools and youth groups, memorize the word of God and all kinds of other things, and especially volunteering your time to help in a local church setting or through Triple T Christian Youth Ministries. And because we have a huge need here for people to be involved, we have invited these ladies to continue relationship with us so that they can grow in tiger relationships and all of the things that are offered to them as they become more and more advanced on Tiger Team. So, tell me, first of all, Ray, why did you want to be a real tiger, and Beth, you can say the same thing. I've always loved working with youth and being able to see that God can use youth in the world, and being involved in fair share, it's incredible to be able to share the gospel with others, even at such a young age. People will compare your age, but you do know the importance of the gospel message, and you're able to tell them that even though you're young, you have something that they need, and it's just a change in life for them. So, I want to be able to continue being an example to those around me, to not be indifferent to those around me, and not let people despise my youth, but be the example of the light of Christ that I need to be. Oh, I think being a tiger and being involved in this way with triple T's, it really is, it's a great base for teenagers to come back and have that stable foundation to meet together and encourage each other, and then go out and share the gospel. It's hard when you're in an atmosphere where there's lots of peer pressure for the wrong things, and I think the tiger team impact can help with positive peer pressure to encourage them to do the right things. Thank you very much because that's exactly what we're trying to do to teach peer evangelism, peer to peer, because you can reach people that I can't because they look at me and they say, "Well, how do you know what it's like to be a teenager?" It's been a while since I was one, but I still think like they do to a degree, but not like they do because I'm not a teenager anymore, but we can train teenagers to do the job, and thank you so much for what you've shared about that, because youth can make a tremendous difference. The Bible says that no man despise your youth would be an example to and of the believers, and it goes on to tell you about those attributes and those assets that you have as a young person if you will develop all of that for God's glory. So we want to find out now what your hope is on the horizon as far as what you would like to have accomplishing through yourself and through the others around you day by day, accomplishing moment by moment hour by hour, whatever, in the next school year, because it won't be long until you'll be back hitting the books and going to the classroom and getting more and more information poured to you, or at least thrown at you, and what do you want to be like nine months from now as you are exposed one more time to more and more things, plus your involvement here in the continuing involvement as tigers. So tell us first of all, Ray, your reaction to this, and then Beth, follow through. I would say that I definitely learned about the fact that you don't want to be ashamed of your faith, that you don't want to be ashamed of what you believe in, and in the same way as we're going back into school, I don't want to hide in a corner, but I want to be able to learn how to be a better leader and to be involved with everyone around me in order to be the body of Christ that we're meant to be and to be able to work together, and it's definitely a learning experience when you're with so many different people, but it's a blessing that he's put so many strong Christians around me, and I'm thankful for all the knowledge that I'm learning, but not only that for just everything that he's doing spiritually in me. Well, I guess this next school year, one of my goals is to show God's love to people. There are so many people, I've noticed even in our class who they need love, and I know like these next people coming in, it's going to be kind of a weird term, and it'll be weird coming into BMW, because it is such a unique school, just actively showing love to them and not being indifferent to them, or just pushing them off to the side, but showing love to them in real ways that they can identify with. As I have other goals, I want to memorize Scripture. I want that something I've learned a lot this summer is how important it is to internalize the Word of God, and truly take that for granted and utilizing it to the fullest. God's Word says that his Word won't return void. We've already talked about that, but also tells us not to be ashamed. He says, "I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it's a power of God, a salvation, to the Jew first and also to the Greek." That's talking about the fact that the Israelis, the Israelites, the people who were born under the law, also had the same opportunity of receiving Jesus as their personal Savior, as did the people who were Gentiles. And so we need to know that no matter who we are, no matter where we go, that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, because Jesus is. And so as you ladies go and serve the Lord, as you learn more about how to do it, put into effect every opportunity that God opens for you, the presentation and the furtherance of the gospel. God's Word needs to be shared. If you don't do it, who's going to? If you do it, you're going to. And people are going to listen and they're going to respond, and God's Holy Spirit is going to convict people of their sins, their shortcomings, and give them the opportunity of responding to His wonderful love. Bible says God is love. Christ, through you, can change the world.
