Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is preparing His disciples for His personal departure and for the coming of the Holy Spirit. Listen to John 1613, New King James Version. However, when He, the Holy Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth, for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears, He will speak, and He will tell you things to come. That's what God has promised through Jesus to the disciples and now to us, the power and presence of God's Holy Spirit indwells every believer. He gives us the opportunity to share the gospel, the good news, because He enables us to serve the Lord diligently. It becomes our personal prerogative to say yes or no to Him, and when that still small voice convicts you about the people who need the Lord, who could know Him if someone like you would tell them, then it becomes not just your opportunity, but responsibility to go with the good news.
