"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness into heavenly places," Ephesians 6-12, New King James Version. God wants us to understand that we are not wrestling with things that are tangible, but the intangible deeds of the devil, and we have got to stand. But on the whole armor of God, the Bible says, and having done that, go to battle. Make sure you have the word of God, the sword of the Spirit, and your shield of faith, and pray consistently. When you have the armor ready, then you can go to battle, and the battle is the Lord, but share with the people who need Jesus. God's ABCs, admit you have sinned, believe on Christ, and confess Him publicly, and the scriptures that go with each of those phrases are available to you in printed form so you can present them to people who can go to heaven when you tell them how.
