Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, again and again God's Word tells us what has happened, who Jesus is and what we're to do for Him. Hebrews 12-2, New King James Version says, "Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." Many people feel that that's a misnomer, saying that Jesus had joy set before Him to endure the cross. His joy was for you and for me to be saved. For us to know that our sins could be forgiven, washed in the blood of Jesus Christ, shed for us. That joy can be full when you and I not only meet the Lord, but tell others how they too can get to heaven. God wants us to be compassionate about people who are lost and everyone who has not believed in the Lord Jesus is lost, condemned already because they have not yet believed. God's Word says this, and we need to understand that God's Word is totally true. But He also wants us to go with the Gospel to people who need Him. So find someone to pray with, make sure that your heart is totally in tune with the Lord, and then together determine how you are going to get the Gospel to the most possible people most effectively.
