Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began. 2 Timothy 1, last phrase of verse 8 and all of verse 9, New King James Version. The gospel. It is only the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ that lets us know who Jesus is. What God did to send His Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. And it is according to the power of God who has saved us and called us with a holy calling. You see, every believer has been called by God to serve the Lord. God wants us to invest our time, our talent, and our treasure for the furtherance of the gospel. God wants you and me to know that He cares about us, but He wants us to go forth, to go forward with the good news. So make sure you are reading the Word of God. Make certain that you have prayer partners who also believe the Bible, and then together determine the strategy to take the gospel to people who need the Lord.
