Telling The TRUTH
111613 Telling The Truth 28 Minute Program
[music] You're listening to "Telling the Truth" from Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries, "Telling the Truth to and Through Teenagers." Here is Triple T. founder and president, George Dooms. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Listen to Acts 4, 11, and 12, New King James Version. This is the stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone, nor is there salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Yes, it's the name of Jesus. Jesus Christ, Son of God, God the Son, who saves, who gives opportunity for eternal life to every person who admits he or she has sinned, who will turn to Jesus from their sins, and will believe on him with all their hearts. Have you done this? If you haven't, now is the time. Do it at this very moment, say, "God, I have sinned, I am sorry, forgive me. I want Jesus to be my Savior. I am turning to him from my sins. I believe that Jesus Christ is who he says he is, and I am willing to tell other people that I believe. If you do that, God will give you his gift, eternal life. Tell people how to get to heaven. We have God's ABCs for you, and we would like to give them to you to share with your friends. So call us, and let us know how many you would like to have. The number to call is area code 812-867-2418. Call now and get as many copies as you can prayerfully distribute. Throughout the book of Acts, story after story is told of people who admitted to his sin who believed on the Lord Jesus who told others about him. Listen to Acts 1511, New King James Version. But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, we shall be saved in the same manner as they. That, of course, is true for you, whoever you are, wherever you are. If you will admit you have sinned, if you will turn to Jesus from your sins, if you will receive the gift of God eternal life by believing on him, you can live forever. There are people in our world who need to have that truth shared with them. There is somebody that you know who doesn't know how to get to heaven. Will you be the one to tell them? Every place I go, I give what I call God's ticket to heaven, God's ABCs, and we want you to be able to be a distributor of those wonderful words from God's Word. Romans 323, Romans 623, John 3 16, Romans 10 9 and 10, all behind the banner that says, "Believe on the Lord Jesus." We want you to know that we are here for you to pray with you, to help you in every way we can. So call us and let us know how many copies of God's ABCs you can prayerfully distribute to people who need the Lord. Everybody everywhere is headed for hell unless they know Jesus. Tell somebody today how to get to heaven. A very exciting story is presented in Acts chapter 16. Paul and Silas were thrown in a prison. Their chains fell off, the door was opened, and they were free to go. But they stayed. Listen to Acts 16, 30 and 31, New King James Version. And he brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your household." That was the story that was told one-on-ones of the Philippian jailer. That story has been told again and again. It's been shared on radio, television, newspapers, on the internet, and we're sharing it with you. If you've not yet turned to Jesus, do it right now. If you have, tell someone how they too can become a child of God, a member of God's forever family. We have copies of God's ABCs we would like to put into your hands. We want to get these to as many people as possible. Many of you have already called or sent emails and asked for copies, and we sent them to you. And we want you to know we will pray for you if you will tell us how. Share God's good news. The number to call is area code 812-867-2418. Repeat, here we code 812-867-2418. Just let us know how many copies of God's ABCs you will prayerfully give to people. But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5, 8 and 9, New King James. The wrath of God is an awful thing to comprehend. But let me remind you that we have the wonderful privilege and the God-given opportunity to tell people how to escape His wrath. He loves us. Jesus shed His blood for us, for you and for me and for your friends and my friends who don't know Him. So let's go with the gospel to people who need the Lord. Let's tell them to admit they have sinned, to believe on Christ, to confess Him publicly. Let's share with them the plan of salvation, scripturally. Let them know that the Bible says in Romans 3, 23, in Romans 6, 23, in John 3, 16, in Romans 10, 9 and 10, how to get to heaven. We have that in print for you. We have copies for you to share with your friends, those who need the Lord, family members, neighbors, anyone you know who doesn't know for sure they're headed for heaven. You can give those tickets to eternity to people who need the Lord. Call us now, area code 812-867-2418. Let us know how many copies of God's ABCs. You will prayerfully distribute the people who need the Lord. God's Word is fantastic in His promises, magnificent. Listen to Romans 5-10, the King James Version. "For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life." There you have it. It's really talking about the death, the burial, and the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. He died for you. He died for me. He died for your friends, your family, my friends and family, and everybody everywhere who doesn't know Him. So it now becomes our opportunity to help people be reconciled. Enemies can be turned around and saved by His life because Jesus Christ is alive and well. We would like very much to help you get the gospel to people who need Jesus. Know this, "Everyone who does not know Him, who has not believed on Him." Jesus says is condemned already because He or She has not believed. So help people understand they have got to believe on Christ in order to be saved. We have God's ABCs available to you. They're free. All you have to do is let us know how many you will prayerfully distribute to people who need Him. Call us now. I recode 812-867-2418. That's 812-867-2418. And just tell us how many ABCs you're going to give prayerfully to people who need Jesus. The promises of God are deep and far reaching. Listen carefully to Romans 824 and 25 New King James. For we are saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope. For why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, then we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. Isn't that magnificent? By believing on the Lord Jesus Christ, you and I can be saved. We have hope on the horizon that's eternal. Christ in you the hope of glory. How does it happen? When you admit you have sinned, when you turn to Jesus from your sins, when you believe on Him with all of your heart, when you are willing to tell others that you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He is the resurrected Christ. We have God's ABCs for you. Remember to call us at area code 812-867-2418. Repeat 812-867-2418. Let us know how many copies of God's plan of salvation. His ABCs, you will prayerfully give to people who need the Lord. Remember everyone is condemned already until they have believed. Who do you know who needs to know Jesus? Call now 812-867-2418. Let us know how we can best pray for you as you share God's good news. You and everyone you know is either redeemed or condemned. They are either believers or unbelievers. They are saved or lost. Romans 10-9, New King James Version, says something pertinent. Listen, that if you confess with your mouth or Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. What that is telling us is that we have got to understand the truth of the death, the burial, the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is alive and we need to tell people how to get to heaven. We need to let them know that they need to admit they have sinned. Everybody everywhere is a sinner. They are condemned until they have believed. We need to let them know that God loves them so much that He sent His only begotten son to die, to be buried, to rise again so that by believing on Him, life that lasts forever could be provided and presented. There are people you know who need to know that story. Call 812-867-2418 and order copies free of God's ABCs and give them to everybody you possibly can prayerfully. Just a few days ago, Mary and I had the privilege of giving hundreds of ABCs to kids. What a wonderful privilege you can to, will you? Every Saturday at 7.27 p.m. you are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T, 13,000 US-41 North at Booneville and Harmony Road, midway between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport. Every first Saturday, a good news club for ages 6 to 9 is available in a separate room. For more information call 812-867-2418 or visit www.tripletchristianyouth.org. For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed, and how so they believe in Him of whom they have not heard, and how shall they hear without a preacher, and how shall they preach unless they are sent. Romans 10, 13, 14, 15a, New King James Version. Triple T Saturday nights continue to reach people across the tri-state. On a recent Saturday we had six different tri-state counties represented, and groups attending range from 2 to 19. Friends are being brought for the first time and coming back the second and third times. Classic is wonderful, and videos are sharing the good news. Thanks be to God, we'll continue throughout November and December. We are thrilled because of what God has done, and what He is doing, and what He wants to do. And we hope that you will avail yourself of the opportunity of coming today, tonight, and to see the My Hope America video that is called The Cross. It was shown on national television just a few days ago, and now we're going to be showing it to you tonight. Now understand this, that God loves you, and Jesus died for you. We're looking forward, moving toward the 2,500 consecutive Saturday God willing, on December the 28th, 2013. We're reaching for the stars. We're going to launch restart, God willing, that evening, and we're going to be reaching out to hundreds of people through local church youth groups and Sunday schools, not only across the tri-state, but beyond. Thank God for giving the increase. Over 250 youth and adults have made decisions for Christ already personally so far this year. The Gospel continues to go out through billboards, radio, God's ABCs, and Bibles being given one-on-one to 10 to 19-year-olds, and during every public meeting. Triple T teams and guests have traveled to at least 31 Illinois, and Kentucky counties, and/or youth and adults have come here. Triple T has been likened to an aircraft carrier. In contrast to a cruise ship, Triple T teams go to and from Triple T to small towns and rural communities, presenting the Gospel. And vehicles transport to and from Triple T Saturday nights and other happenings. Since mid-May, God's good news that Christ died for our sins was buried in rose again, has been presented through Triple T to more than 5,000 youth and adults. The flight deck stays active because countless thousands still need to hear the Gospel. And so we are going, and we are letting people land on our carrier, and we're telling them the good news when they're here, and then we're trying to send them out again. God has given us a great vision, every youth before turning 20 to hear the Gospel with an invitation to believe on the Lord Jesus. The provision need is people, resources, and organization. October was very significant, and November is underway to a great start. More people are promising to pray. Contributions are inching forward to the goal of $250,000 by December the 28th. Every time, talent, and treasure investment is keeping Triple T moving forward. Please pray for all of those Tiger teammates, the Tigers themselves, and the things that we are endeavoring to do to share Jesus with people. For you who have called us, sent emails, thank you very, very much. Let us know how we can pray specifically for you. We are praying. Long-time friends have been called home to heaven. These and close companions are grieving their loss. Keep praying. Several ministries are facing difficult situations. Let's pray without ceasing and allow God's Word to be a lamp to our feet and a light to our paths. Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing, and everything give thanks for this is the will of God and Christ Jesus for you. Mary and I seem to be going to wait as far as we are concerned, too many funerals. People that we know, people that we have loved and have worked with are now in heaven. It is a shock sometimes to know that we will never see those people on planet earth again. We will be reunited when we get to glory, but what a loss it is for us in companionship and relationships here now. And so pray with us and for us that we will be able to keep on keeping on. We want to reach as many people as we possibly can, as quickly as we can, as effectively as we can. We want to work with people from the small towns and rural communities all over the Tri-State. Our strategy is simply that. Small town, rural America, target, evangelizing God-given youth, and as we go from town to town in county to county, sharing God's good news, it is a delight to reconnect with people. We were at a very special place where we have been many, many times in the past. A little teeny tiny town in Kentucky, and down there in Webster County, we were privileged to go back to Shady Grove Baptist Church in Poole, Kentucky, where our friend and companion in ministry, former board member at Triple T, went to be with the Lord and we were there for the memorial service. His name is Bob Folcher. I'll always remember the night that we had three Bobs in a tub, in a bathtub in our basement. We had a Bob from Indiana, a Bob from Illinois, and a Bob from Kentucky, and the contest was on to see which one could bring the most kids from their particular state. It was a night to remember, and we repeated it many times after that, but we had lots and lots of interactions and responsibilities to reach out to people. God puts people into the picture that have a need or meet the need that we have, and we are thrilled about this. We thank the Lord for the people who are praying with us consistently, and we invite you to consider coming tonight to Triple T. It's going to be a neat night, and you will get to see the Billy Graham My Hope America video called The Cross. It's very, very effective, and we're excited about the privilege of showing it. It's been, like I said, on national television in the last few days, people everywhere have seen it, and there have been hundreds of thousands of people who have determined to share their faith with their friends. One particular church is a big church in Texas. Things go big in Texas, but this one church had people in their church that invited to their homes or to special happenings over 20,000 people. Wow. And just recently at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia, where our friend Jonathan Falwell is the pastor, Jerry Falwell's son, one of Tammy's classmates at Liberty University when they were there together, is now the pastor of this humongous church, and they had people who were concerned about their friends, and they brought names of people to be prayed for, and they put them over the altar, the word said P-R-A-Y, and they brought name after name after name, person after person after person. Over 10,000 people were prayed for individually because people cared, and we are right now beginning today praying for every one of our Tigers and Tiger teammates. Later this month, or the 1st of December, we'll be putting together Christmas trees. Those Christmas trees will be on our stage, and there will be tags on the trees. The tags of every person who has been touched by our ministry, where we have their names, the names will be on the tags, the Tigers, the contenders, the Tiger teammates, the pastors, the church youth workers, and on and on, and then the prospects, the people that don't know Jesus, that we are praying will come to know Him, and that this can be their very first Christmas, that is a Christian Christmas. So be involved, be a part of all this, come tonight, and learn what we're doing, and how it's working, and how you can be a big part of what God is doing, not only now, the days before us. We're thrilled about the 31 counties that we've been able to either be there, or people from there have come here this year since July, and we're looking forward to reaching out to more and more people more effectively, more quickly, and we're praying for God to put together the travel teams that we can send out again and again to community after community, to congregation after congregation, so that we can pray together for what's happening there where you are, and you can pray for what's happening here in all the other places where we're going with God's good news. It's exciting to be a part of a ministry that has been going now for all of these tremendous series of Saturday nights, and we're looking forward to the 2500th, God willing, on the 28th of December, and you are hereby invited to be with us, it's going to be an open house from two o'clock in the afternoon through the rally that night, and we're going to have special happenings, and we'll give you more information later, but prayerfully consider coming and bringing some friends. Stay tuned as we give you more details about the things that are happening that are high on the horizon right now. Yes, we're reaching for the stars. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended, but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus, Philippians 3, 13, 14, New King James, December 28, 2013, Triple T's 2500th consecutive Saturday, the Lord willing, 2 p.m. to 727 p.m. open house together toward tomorrow, an ongoing impact, and then 727 p.m. restart launch, featuring creative Christian communicators, Triple T alumni, special guests. It's going to be a night to remember, and we hope that you will avail yourself of the opportunity to be with us and to bring friends and family, because we guarantee you we will share the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ publicly and as privately as necessary. For expanding the ministry, God willing, as we reach out toward 2014, again, our goal this year was to go to or have people from those counties come here, from 31 target counties, and we have done it, but we're not stopping, we're going to keep on reaching out. In God willing in 2014, we want to go to at least 62 of the 93 counties within 100 miles of us, partnering in youth evangelism with local Bible-believing churches and Christian ministries further Triple T's mission. To communicate Christianity to and through teenagers, to win them to Christ and train them for Christ, teaching them how to share their faith through their local churches on their campuses, throughout their communities, and into their world wherever God leads them in their future. The Triple T team is available to present the key action plan, it's a concept of local churches that will work together in daring to motivate the family believers to pray. The 30-acre campus of Triple T Christian youth ministries is a very, very special place. We call it the Christian Communication Center. We're located less than 30 miles from the Medium Population Center of the United States, according to the 2010 census. This strategic location, 13,000 U.S. Highway 41 North at Boonville and Harmony Road, midway between Evansville Regional Airport and Interstate 64, is less than three hours from St. Louis and Nashville within a days drive of 70 percent of the entire United States population. Did you know that over 400,000 of America's 41 million-ton to 19-year-olds live within 100 miles of Triple T? Has God provides resources through Tiger teammates, investing time, talent and treasure, the key action plan can be put into effect and build toward reaching youth with the gospel in each of the 93 Tri-State counties, campus by campus, community by community. Ideally, three evangelistic youth events will be pursued in every community annually. In the spring, we're putting together a thing that we're calling restart. We're going to have a lot of information on that, and that's what we're going to be launching God willing on December the 28th, and we want you to come and learn how all this fits together. We're looking forward, again, to fair share this summer. As we're trying to go to more counties, we were in 12 counties last year, we'd like to double it. If we have the vehicles and the personnel, we can do it. We need your prayers and your support. Just know this, we're not trying to say we have all the answers, we're not even trying to do something where we shouldn't. For we dare not class ourselves, or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves, but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves are not wise. We, however, will not boast beyond measure, but within the limits of this fear which God appointed us, a fear which especially includes you. For we are not extending ourselves beyond our fear, thus not reaching you, for it was to you that we came with the gospel of Christ, not boasting of things beyond measure that is in other men's labors, or having hope that as your faith.
