"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, Jesus is explaining His preaching and teaching mission, the why of it, and He shares explicitly in John 5, 33, 34, New King James, saying, "You have sent to John, and He has borne witness to the truth; yet I do not receive testimony from men, but I say these things that you may be saved." Jesus is very clear and forthright, but He lets people know that His purpose in life is a salvation of everyone who has lost, who will turn to Him from their sins, who will believe on Him, and who will receive from Him the gift of God eternal life. It's available. That's why Jesus came, and that's why we have the privilege and the honor and the responsibility of telling people everywhere why He came. That Jesus Christ died for our sins, that He was buried, that He rose again on the third day, that He came to give the gift of God eternal life. We need to tell people how to receive that gift by admitting that they have sinned, by turning to Jesus from their sins, by being willing to tell other people that they have believed on the Lord Jesus and are willing to tell others about Him. That becomes our privilege, yours and mine, so let's pray together and let's determine how to reach more people. Christ through you can change the world. (upbeat music) [MUSIC PLAYING]
