Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Living by faith is a wonderful lifestyle, but people who are doing this depend on believers to share what they have so the gospel can go forward through the people who are communicating Christianity. Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the Word and doctrine. For the Scripture says, "You shall not muzzle the ox while it treads out the grain, and the labor is worthy of his wages." Have you given a gift recently to ministries that are helping you and getting the gospel to people? God can use you if it would do that kind of sewing, that kind of planting, because when you plant the gospel in someone's heart and life, it brings forth fruit ultimately. But when you plant dollars and resources in the hands of the harvesters, wonderful things keep happening. So pray about doing what God would have you to do in supporting people who are communicating the gospel effectively. I know you know someone who does that. Have you told them how grateful you are tangibly? Do it today. Write a check. Send a letter and do something to help the gospel go forward through the communicators that you trust.
