[music] You're listening to "Telling the Truth" from Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries, "Telling the Truth to and Through Teenagers." Here is Triple T. Founder and President, George Dooms. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth. You, who set your glory above the heavens, Psalm 812, New King James Version. Excellence is something that every person should pursue. But there is only one who is really excellent, and that is God. And as his name is exalted, as we bow before him, as we worship him, as we acknowledge him, as we tell others about him, once we have trusted him personally, then it becomes the excellence of our lifestyle that shares God's love and His greatness with others. People need the Lord. People are waiting for someone to tell them how to get to know him, whom to know a right is life eternal. I hope that you have believed. I hope that you have told. I hope that you are continuing to pray diligently, reading God's Word faithfully, and then taking the Gospel effectively to people who need the Lord. Do you have a prayer partner? Do you have someone that you are actually communicating with and sharing God's Word together and determining how to go with the Gospel to people who need the Lord? You can, if you will. The question is, will you? Listen to Psalm 150 verse 2, New King James Version. Praise him for his mighty acts. Praise him according to his excellent greatness. God is great, and we need to understand how great he really is. We sing the song "How Great Thou Art." But do we really comprehend his greatness? The excellence of his greatness? Excellence is the ultimate to do it right no matter what. And God has done excellent things. He is doing excellent things and will do excellent things in our behalf. God loves you. He sent his son Jesus Christ to live perfectly, to die for our sins, to be buried, and to raise him up from the grave. It was the most excellent gesture God could ever perform. Jesus is alive and well, and because he is, we can talk with him every single day. In fact, we can talk with him many times a day. God wants us to pray, to read his word, to fellowship with other believers, and to share our faith with people who need the Lord. Who do you know, who doesn't yet know Jesus? Are you praying for them? Are you willing to go to them? Are you willing to share the plan of salvation with them? The book of Proverbs is filled with gyms of wisdom. Listen to Proverbs 22, verses 20 and 21, New King James. Have I not written to you excellent things of councils and knowledge? That I may make you know the certainty of the words of truth, that you may answer words of truth to those who send to you. Excellent things. God is excellent, and we need to acknowledge that. And we need to pursue our own excellence in every way of life that we live. We need to pray, excellently. That means we need to tune out everything except God. And have that fellowship factor happening and then communicate with him from our heart. We need to worship him, to praise him, and then to ask him for guidance and direction and help. We need to pray for others. Excellent things. There are ways that we can serve the Lord effectively. Number one, to pray. Number two, to read his word. Number three, to fellowship with other believers. And number four, to take the gospel to people who don't know Jesus, but who could, if we would tell them about him. Will you go to somebody today, prayerfully, carefully, compassionately, and tell them the truth? I hope you will. You can, you know. Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings. He will not stand before unknown men. Proverbs 22, 29, New King James Version. Do you know a man like that? Do you know men like that? Do you know people like that? People who excel in their work? Are they people that you want to be with? Are they people that you respect highly? Are they people who are standing before leaders as leaders themselves? Are they over in the corner with nobody noticing them? No, a man who excels in his work will stand before kings. Are you excelling in what God has given you to do? Are you praying, knowing that God has the answer to every problem, every circumstance, and every situation that you face? Are you reading God's Word for specific answers? And are you fellowshiping with other believers and sharing your heart with them? And then, are you going with the gospel? This whole thing is a vicious but wonderful circle. You start where you are, knowing Jesus. You pray with others, you read the Word of God, and then you go. And you take the good news of the saving power of Jesus Christ to people who need Him. The wisest man who ever lived, Solomon, wants to impart a truth to you and me. Listen, then I saw that wisdom excels folly as light excels darkness. Ecclesiastes 2.13, New King James Version. Wisdom excels folly. God will grant wisdom to each of us if we will ask Him, and if we will abide by the wisdom that He entrusts to us. Have you ever gone into a dark room, turned on a light, and seen that darkness is no longer existed? Light has excelled it. God wants us to excel in every aspect of everything we do with the life that He has entrusted to us. He wants us to bring light into the darkness. Jesus said, "I am the light of the world." And He also said, "You are the light of the world." And we are to reflect His light as the moon reflects the sun each evening. God wants us to let our light so shine that others might see our good works and they, in turn, glorify our Father in heaven. Are you excelling as a dispeller of darkness by bringing light to your world? Pray. Read the Word of God and let people know about Jesus. Isaiah 60-15, New King James Version, lets the prophet pull back the curtain and see God's greatness, compassion, and willingness to do something extraordinary. Whereas you have been forsaken and hated so that no one went through you, I will make you an eternal excellence, a joy of many generations. Isn't that a fantastic statement? Isn't that a wonderful promise? Isn't that a mind-boggling set of circumstances that Isaiah is sharing about God? God has something excellent for you to do and He wants it to last for all eternity. First, He wants you to turn to Him and with Him to others. Pray first and then fellowship with other believers, reading the Word of God together and determining how to share the plan of salvation with excellence to people who need the Lord. There is someone you can reach that I can't, someone you have compassion about. So tell them about Jesus. Work out your strategy. Determine when and where and how you're going to share the fact that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again, and by believing on Him, eternal life is given. Are you courageous? Haven't I commanded you? Be strong and of good courage. Do not be afraid nor be dismayed. For the Lord your God is with you, wherever you go. Joshua 1-9, who King James Version. Yes, fear comes, dismay comes. But the Lord your God is with you, so stop being discouraged and be of good courage. This is a commandment, not a suggestion. So if we follow God's rules and regulations, do what He says to do, go where He says to go, be what He says to be, wonderful things will happen. First of all, look into the Word of God and prayerfully, carefully, let God speak with you, and then bring others into your circle, fellowship with other believers, and together pray for those who are not, and go to them with the gospel courageously, so that they too can believe on the Lord Jesus. Allow wonderful things to happen as you share the plan of salvation with people who need the Lord. Tell them, God loves them, Jesus died for them, was buried and rose again, and He wants to give them forgiveness for their sins and the gift of God eternal life. That will last, that will last, and last. Somebody is waiting, will you tell them today? Every Saturday at 7.27 p.m., you are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T, 13,000 U.S. 41 north at Boomville and Harmony Road, midway between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport. Every first Saturday, a good news club for ages 6 to 9 is available in a separate room. For more information, call 812-867-2418 or visit www.tripletchristianyouth.org. I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine, making request of you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of the very thing that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1, 3 through 6, New King James Version. That's who you are. We are delighted that God has kept us connected by radio, one-on-one sharing, going to ag days, being in congregations, in your community, all the things that have happened, all of the opportunities that we had this summer of being in 12 different counties to share God's good news. Triple T Saturday nights continue and Tiger Team turned 20 on August the 31st. Tammy and I shared definitions and meanings from the Bible and Webster's dictionary about the words "teens involved, going, evangelizing regularly." September 7 was back to School Burger Bash, and Billy Graham's My Hope America Training with Brent Lacey happened. And also, there was a complimentary sub-sandwich supper that was provided and tours of the Old Testament Tammer Knackle, the life-size replica. They were available, and free hamburgers then were provided at the wrap-up of the 727 P.M. Rally. Every Saturday in September, the focus will be prayer, preparing and participating with CU at the Pole and Campus Bible Clubs. Students were here at Triple T from seven different schools on September the 7th. But now this coming Wednesday, September 25, will be CU at the Pole nationwide. And we challenge all of you that are listening to tell the students that you know from every middle school and every high school and every college to meet at the flagpole on their campus as near 7 a.m. as possible this coming Wednesday on the 25th of September. God's going to work wonderfully and it's going to be super to find out who goes to the Pole and what the Lord does through those people who are bold enough to take a stand for God, for their country, for their school, and for themselves. On October the 5th, free corn dogs are going to preview Triple T's booth at the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival October 7 through 11. The Motorcycle Sunday School Mission Circuit Riders Band is to be at Triple T Saturday's October 19 and 26 and they'll be at various churches around the Tri-State and of course they'll be with us for a very special event and I'll tell you about in just a couple of moments. Thousands of people are going to see the Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ banner and be offered God's ABCs on Evansville's West Franklin Street during the Fall Festival. Please pray that the needed volunteers will be available to help with Triple T's Fall Festival booth each morning, each afternoon, and each evening. Hundreds have now toured the Old Testament Tabernacle replica on Triple T's campus since it was first set up May the 13th. At least 150-200 more have already arranged tours for future dates. The Tabernacle will be at Triple T through Thursday, October 17. To arrange a Tabernacle guided tour, call 812-867-2418 or email info@tttchristianyouth.org. That number 812-867-2418, the email info@tttchristianyouth.org. Please pray for the plans and preparations as Triple T is hosting Youth of Evansum Association's 40th Anniversary Convention and Youth Workers' Intensive Training, beginning at 3 p.m. Monday, October 14. The 9-member Motorcycle Sunday School Mission Circuit Riders Band will provide music. They'll be featured Tuesday evening, October 15 at a Tiger Team Impact Evangelistic Youth effort at 7.27 p.m. at Triple T. Evansus Clyde Duppen will share his personal testimony. Thursday at 10 a.m. Grace Duppen will speak at a ladies' T. The closing session will be at dinner at 6.30 p.m. Thursday, October 17 with a challenge by Clyde Duppen to keep evangelizing youth. Tri-state pastors and youth workers and spouses will be special guests. Additional Youth of Evansum Association Convention information is available online at www.youthivangelism.org. As we endeavor to go through every open door, willing workers, full-time, part-time, intern, and volunteer are wanted and needed. But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them because they were weary and scattered like sheep, having no shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." Matthew 9, 36, 37, 38, New King James Version. Every person who gives time, talent, or treasure to the Lord through Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries is important. Please pray for multiple Tiger teammates to help with the harvest now. We want you to know that you're important. And these are the kinds of people that we're looking for. Influential Christians to impact their world. According to David Jeremiah, these are some very specific, godly principles outlined in Scripture. Here are some. Compassion. Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. That's Colossians 3, 12. Integrity. The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity. Proverbs 11, 3. Humility. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility, value others above yourselves, not looking to our own interests, but each of you to the interests of the others. Philippians 2, 3 and 4. Patience. Be completely humble and gentle. Be patient, bearing with one another in love. Ephesians 4, 2. Gentleness. Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again, rejoice. Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Philippians 4, 4 and 5. Loving the least of these. The king will reply, "Truly, I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." Matthew 25, 40. Mercy. Be merciful just as your father is merciful. Luke 6, 36. Since receiving this email, I have been diligently praying for those verses to become real in my heart and my life as an individual and through the ministry of Triple T. And I'm asking God to bring people into the picture who will have these attributes, who will follow these admonitions from the Lord of compassion and integrity and humility, patience, gentleness and loving people who seemingly are unlovable. You too can be one of these kinds of people, if you will, and we hope that you will. So pray with us in for us and know that God loves you and Jesus died for you and He wants you to tell other people about the death of bear the resurrection of the Son of God, God the Son. As we take people through the Old Testament tabernacle, it's delightful to be able to show them Jesus in the tabernacle. Even as we go through the gate, it's 30 feet wide and it's colorful. The colors start with blue representing the divinity of the Lord Jesus. And then at the bottom is red representing His humanity and between is a combination of the blue and the red that's purple representing His royalty. And then the embroidering is pure white representing the purity of the Lord Jesus Christ. And as we go through the gate into the courtyard, we're able to see again the symbol of the cross from the brazen altar all the way up into the holy of holies to the ark of the covenant. And then on one side, the candle labra, on the other side, the table of showbread that forms the cross member of the cross on which Jesus died. We hope that if you haven't come, that you will come and see the replica of the Old Testament tabernacle. It'll only be here through the middle of October. So call to make your reservation for a tour guide. The number to call this area code 812-867-2418. Stay tuned as we give you more information about opportunities that are coming your way very quickly. [MUSIC] Thank you for considering coming to see the Old Testament tabernacle life size replica. Again, it's hard to describe it, but it's a fantastic thing to visit. Courtyard is 75 feet wide and 150 feet long. The tabernacle itself is 15 feet high, 15 feet wide and 45 feet long. The holy of holies is a cube, 15 by 15 by 15. Furniture is as authentic as we could make it, and you'll be amazed as you watch what God did in advance of and since Jesus has come. I want to share with you what God did this summer as we went to 12 different counties. In Warwick County, Indiana, we surveyed 333 people sharing the gospel and 33 made decisions for Christ. In White County, Illinois, 287 surveys, six decisions for Christ. Wabash County, Illinois, 301 surveys, 11 decisions for Christ. Edwards County, Illinois, 223 surveys, nine decisions. Gibson County, Indiana, 395 surveys, 42 decisions for Christ. Davies County, Kentucky, 169 surveys, eight decisions for Christ. McLean County, Kentucky, 182 surveys, six decisions for Christ. Gibson County, Indiana, a watermelon festival parade, Knox County, Indiana, 508 surveys, 25 decisions for Christ. Lawrence County, Illinois, 148 surveys, 12 decisions for Christ. Richland County, Illinois, 129 surveys, 14 decisions for Christ. Pike County, Indiana, 124 surveys, nine decisions for Christ. Posy County, Indiana, 119 surveyed, hearing the gospel, seven made decisions for Christ. 319 individuals were surveyed, the gospel was shared, over 700 received one of our New King James triple T Bibles, and totally, 103 made decisions for Christ. We gave away 1,500 coloring books about Jesus, hundreds of wordless bracelets and balloons, and thousands of copies of God's ABCs. We also gave away over 7,000 cups of free ice water. In 12 vehicles, the 63 of us involved drove a total of 10,633 miles. If you would draw a straight line from triple T and go as far as you could beyond Australia, we drove far enough to get to Christmas Island. That's over 10,000 miles away. And so it was a wonderful summer, a great deal of happenings, but we were thrilled to know that God is causing other people to catch the vision. A couple of weeks ago, our special guest was Brent Lacy. He's written a book called Rural Youth Ministry. Thrive where you're planted. His chapter titles start with his story, and he gave his personal testimony. He came here as a teenager. He was trained in peer evangelism, helped put together an event in his home county, Perry County, Illinois. And his second chapter is titled Thriving in Rural Youth Ministry. Stop, look, listen, and learn. His third chapter, building relationships in the slow cooker, not the microwave. Chapter four, avoiding the crossfire. Surviving when there are arguments happening. Chapter five, county fairs and festivals are good for more than funnel cakes. Chapter six, harvest the fields. Emissional look at rural and small town school districts. And then, chapter seven, you are alone only if you choose to be. It is a very long chapter that is very, very helpful on how to make use of technology in a rural or small town ministry context. We want you to know that we're here for you. If you'll come tonight, you'll be delighted at who you'll meet and what you'll see. We're taking tours of the tabernacle today. And if you want to come, call us. Christ, through you, can change the world.
