Telling The TRUTH
071413 Telling The Truth 2 Minute Program
You're listening to Telling the Truth from Triple T Christian Youth Ministries, Telling the Truth to and for Teenagers. Here is Triple T founder and president George Dooms. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Have you ever been like a little boy or a little girl in a candy store and you just went in and put your quarters on the counter and you picked up the candy and you ate and ate and ate and now you have a tummy ache? Proverbs 25-27, New King James Version says, "It is not good to eat much honey, so to seek one's own glory is not glory." Sometimes we bask in the commendations of other people and we say, "Wow, I must be okay." Don't let somebody else's words about you in flattery adversely affect you, but humble yourself before God. Seeking your own glory is not glory at all. It's like eating too much honey and it will ultimately make you sick at your stomach. So what do you do? You look in a mirror and you say, "I'm only one, but I am who I am because God loves me in spite of myself. I am a sinner, a sinner saved by grace if I have believed on the Lord Jesus and because he has done this for me, I owe it to him to tell others about him and to share good news of Jesus Christ with a world in need, one by one. Someone is waiting for you to go, tell them the truth. Christ through you can change the world.
