Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Do you really believe that God is omniscient? He knows everything. Everything that has been, everything is now, and everything that is going to be. Listen to Matthew 6, 7, and 8, New King James Version, but when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Therefore do not be like them, for your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. Isn't that magnificent? God knows. He knows our hearts. He knows precisely what we need, and we don't have to use a great deal of verbiage. We don't need to go on and on, but we need to just level with the Lord and say, "God, I need you, and this is what I need right now for you to do." Ask God to do what He has promised. He will do again and again and again in His Word, and be thankful in advance. During the time you are asking, and when you have finished praying, be thankful. With a thankful heart, we can make requests known to God, and God will hear us, and He will delight Himself by responding to our prayer. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks.
