[music] You're listening to "Telling the Truth" from Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries, "Telling the Truth to and Through Teenagers." Here is Triple T. founder and president, George Dooms. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, what is ministry? Listen to Acts 6, verses 3 and 4, New King James Version, "Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the Word." What is ministry? It is serving. Anything that you do to serve Jesus Christ can be a ministry unto Him. Yes, some need to minister the Word, all need to pray, and some need to be able to specifically do the things that make the business happen. There are things that can be done that need to be done by believers in Christ to further the gospel of the Lord Jesus. Are you serving Him? What are you doing with the time, with the talent, with the treasure that He has entrusted to you? I hope that you will serve the Lord diligently and that you will know that the greatest things that you can do are first to pray, read His Word, do what His Word says, pray with other believers, and then be a communicator of Christianity. The good news of the saving power of the Lord Jesus will help people go to heaven. Doing the work of an evangelist was the ministry of Barnabas and Paul. Listen to God's Word in Acts 12 verses 24 and 25 New King James Version. But the Word of the Lord grew and multiplied, and Barnabas and Paul returned from Jerusalem when they had fulfilled their ministry, and they also took with them John, whose surname was Mark. Paul and Barnabas set out on a journey to share the gospel with people who did not know Jesus, and they decided to enlarge their team and took John Mark along. The rest as you know is history, but suffice it to say that they were able to reach more people more effectively when their team increased. What about you? Who is on your team? Do you have a prayer partner, our partners, share partner, our partners? God will help you if you will read His Word, believe His Word, pray diligently and expectantly, and then saturate everything you do with prayer and sharing the good news of the saving power of the Lord Jesus. People are waiting to hear the truth. They are sinners. They need salvation, forgiveness, and to know that Jesus died was buried and rose again to give eternal life. Tell someone. Paul had gone through some very rough territory. It had some difficulties, but in spite of it all, he determined to serve the Lord with diligence. Listen to Acts 20, 24, New King James Version, "But none of these things move me, nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy and the ministry which I receive from the Lord Jesus to testify to the gospel of the grace of God." A ministry received from the Lord Jesus; he wants to give you a ministry also to perform for him. Are you willing to do whatever it takes to do what would please him? There are people waiting for you to pray with them, to pray for them, and then to go with the gospel to those who need the Lord. What is the gospel? That Christ died for our sins, that he was buried, that he rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures. Admit you have sinned. Believe on Christ. Confess him publicly. That's what God wants you and me and everyone to do. There is someone waiting for you to pray with them for others who need to know Jesus. So the question is, will you go into the ministry of sharing? Will you go today? God has provided and presented individual gifts to believers in Christ. What is your gift? Listen to Romans 12, in fact, read the whole chapter. But right now, listen to verses 6a and 7a, New King James. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them. Our ministry, let us use it in our ministry. What ministry is God called you to do for him? There are people who need the Lord. You need to use the privilege and opportunity of praying with others and for others as a ministry. Will you? You need to think about ways to share the good news of who Jesus is and what he has done, that he has come into the world to save sinners. Are there some sinners in your world who need Jesus? Will you tell them about him? Will you pray with other believers for them? And then will you go together with the gospel to them and help them know Jesus personally? It can happen if you are willing. Behold, now is accepted time. Behold, today is the day of salvation. This is the day the Lord has made. Use it for his glory. The biblical mandate of TTT Christian youth ministries is 2 Corinthians 4 verses 1-7. Listen to verses 1 and 2, New King James. Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. What ministry do you have? Hours is to communicate Christianity, telling the truth to, through teenagers. So we don't quit, we don't give up, we don't even pause for long at a time, but we keep on keeping on because so many people need Jesus. We are renouncing sin, we are uplifting the victory over sin, the Christ who died on the cross at Calvary, who was buried, who rose again, and who intercedes right now at the right hand of God the Father. That Jesus, who walked and talked for forty days on planet earth after the resurrection. He is the one that we are sharing with people. Will you share Jesus? Pray and then take the gospel to those who need the Lord. And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers. For the equipping of the saints, for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, Ephesians 4, 11, and 12 New King James Version. What has God equipped you to do for Him? What is your ministry? God wants each of us to do something for His glory. Some He is called to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers. God has called me to be an evangelist, friends of minor pastors. My daughter is a gifted teacher, and others have been called of God, equipped by Him. And now we need to help other believers to be shares of Christianity, to be doers of the Word, not hearers only. Will you pray with someone, will you read God's Word together, will you determine to take the gospel to people, let them know that Christ did die, that He was buried, that He did rise again for everybody who will believe on Him, will you help people to understand they need to trust Jesus in a very personal, pertinent, intimate way. We are living in a wicked world. These are trying times. These are moments of despair. There are hours and days and weeks and months when we glance over our shoulder at what has happened and we see deterioration of our country. We see sin abounding, but in the middle of it all, grace abounds much more. The Bible says we have a job to do, we have a task to perform. Listen to the challenge of 2 Timothy 4.5, New King James. Would you be watchful in all things? Indoor afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry? Yes, you have a ministry to fulfill for God's glory. And doing the work of an evangelist simply means you pray and then you go with the gospel. You remind people that they are sinners, all have sinned. You tell them to believe on the Lord Jesus who died for you, for them, who was buried for you, for them, who rose through the dead, for you, for them, for me. And then you tell them Jesus loves them and to trust Christ, to receive His forgiveness when they turn to Him from their sins. When you do this, wonderful things happen. Every Saturday at 7.27pm, you are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T, 13,000 US-41 North at Booneville and Harmony Road, midway between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport. Every first Saturday, a good news club for ages 6 to 9 is available in a separate room. For more information call 812-867-2418 or visit www.tripletchristianyouth.org. March 23, March 30, April 6 featured Hosanna Highway, the Crimson Trail, creatively and graphically presenting the story of redemption. Each person was given a Crimson Trail passport which was stamped at each stop along the way. Creation, the fall, judgment, the promise, the Lamb of God, Hosanna, the trial, the cross, the resurrection, and the Great Commission. Interactive opportunities, video clips and effective static displays enhanced the walk along the Crimson Trail. Best news of all, at least 30 youth personally, decided to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ during Hosanna Highway 2013. Tammy is presenting life at its very best in a six-week series designed to help new believers and those who have been Christians longer to grow in their faith. It began last Saturday with the promise, April 13, tonight the pursuit, April 20, and will also climax another Tiger Team training day. Next week I will present the plan on April 27. The continuing provision is next May 4. The potential problems may 11 and projection for the future may 18. The life at its very best series is based on the booklet by Dave Breeze which is given to everyone who makes a decision for Christ through Triple T. We are grateful for Carol Breeze and Christian Destiny for providing these booklets. If you would like a copy of Life at its Very Best, please let us know. You can call us, area code 812-867-2418 or you can write us, TTT, Christian Youth Ministries, 13,000, that's 1-3-0-0-0, U.S. Highway 41 North, Evansville, Indiana 4-7-7-2-5. We hope you will want a copy of Life at its Very Best. You can even come tonight and pick one up in person but we'll send one to you if you request it. Let us know because all Tiger Team participants are urged to bring their friends. We had a great host of kids here last week and it's been happening. We're involved in what we call Project Proclaim. Will you be a daily prayer partner with us for 40 days? Let's ask the Lord together for ministry miracles as we get ready for hundreds to tour the Old Testament tabernacle. A team from Teen Missions in Merritt Island, Florida will be with us for the setup May 4-12. Tour Guide Training will begin that week. Please pray for people to be willing to serve as often as they can through October 17. The ongoing impact will include a preview of Together Toward Tomorrow. This interactive continuing story of youth evangelism in America from 1931 forward is being developed day by day. Gospel seeds are being sown daily. But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience. That's Luke 815, New King James. From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. pastors and leaders gathered here to see what God wanted to do with them as they were getting ready for my hope America was Billy Graham that will be happening later this year sometime in November. We want you to know that we're seeing wonderful things happen. We're able to see lots of folk, lots of friends of the ministry. In fact, everywhere we go, we do, but especially at the right-to-life dinner. Traveling Tiger, many camps are coming up soon. They're scheduled for three weeks, Thursday through Saturday, beginning May 30, preparing for fair share 2013. In keeping with Triple T's culture of cooperation, several Bible-believing ministries to youth will be represented July 13 at Triple T, Jesus Christ changed in the world summit. It will provide interaction and involvement to keep evangelizing youth. We're excited about working with so many ministries that believe as we do that the Bible is the infallible, the inspired, the unerrant Word of God. We're asking God to give us at least 40 local church youth ministries to work with us as we go to fair share, and on through the summer, we're expecting a great, great happening everywhere we're going with the gospel, and your prayers will be appreciated very, very much. We're invited back to many, many of the fairs where we've been, and we're going to some new ones God willing this year. So let's pray for wisdom. We're asking God to meet with Triple T's executive board, person by person. The opportunities before us sometimes seem overwhelming, but God is able. Let us pray, Lord, I believe, help my unbelief, Mark 924, New King James Version. Let's expect more ministry miracles from now through mid-May and way beyond. As we remember time after time how God has answered prayer and provided exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, Ephesians 3.20. We anticipate marvelous answers to prayer today, in the days, weeks, months, and even years ahead. We are eagerly moving toward Triple T's year of Jubilee, February 2015 to February 2016. We're excited about a brand new thing in our ministry called the Triple T Key Legacy Society. We have folk who are informing us that they are including Triple T in their wills and trusts in estate planning, to keep the ministry perpetuating on and on in the days ahead until Jesus returns. If you need more information or would like to know more about this, we have an information packet that will send your way. Again, just call us or write us and you'll get yours. Ask for the key legacy packet. Legacy society is the new entity and you can become a part of this simply by letting us know that you are remembering Triple T in your last will and testament. We're thrilled when people do this and we've had some who have and it has helped the ministry immensely as we have gone forward across the years. Again, we're grateful to the Lord for everyone who is serving the Lord with us, full-time, part-time, and volunteer. Please pray for all of these and for more willing workers. Truly, the harvest is plentiful but the labors are few. Jesus said the fields are already white to harvest. Pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out labors into His harvest. Your prayers are being answered. We can't have the joy to pray for you too so let us know how we can talk to Jesus about your needs. We do it on a consistent basis when we know what your needs are. Again, we thank you for your interest in Triple T Christian Youth Ministries. We want to be giving back to those folk that have helped us so much in county after county and local church after local church with their youth ministries. And so we're putting together an opportunity for people to be a part of the Youth Evangelism Association. We want you to know that it's happening and we're excited about hosting it again at Triple T this coming October 14 through 17. We're bringing a lot of people to town. We're going to be having with us Clyde Dupin and his wife Grace, wonderful friends of the ministry. So you're invited to learn more about that. I know it seems like a long way off, but October will be here before you know it. And so will the wrapping up of the Old Testament tabernacle tours will be touring from mid-May through mid-October. For this is a good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. That's our theme for YEA this year. Using effective experienced youth ministry leaders again from across America. Youth Evangelism Association is a network of ministries to teenagers. Using a biblical approach to ministry. Using methods and standards that are Christ honoring and Bible-based. YEA is 24/7 wherever and whenever youth are. The vision is to challenge adults to coach, equip and train youth to one actively and responsibly reproduce the life of Christ with their peers. Secondly to boldly share the gospel to win their unsaved peers to Christ. And thirdly to consistently study the Bible with the view towards spiritual maturity. Membership is open to like-minded organizations, local church youth ministries and individuals. Each of the members is committed to really move forward for God's glory. We have a group of people who form the board from across the country, wonderful youth workers and Christian leaders. And together we pray and then we go with the gospel wherever we can including across the tri-state and way beyond. Stay tuned as we give you some more details about this very special offer that we're making today for you to get a copy of Life at its very best by Dave Breeze. Again, you can come tonight and pick one up in person or you can write or call to get yours. Stay tuned. There's no doubt about it. The quest is on. In the book Life at its very best by Dave Breeze. He talks about the fact that we know that there's built within the universe, within our very being the promise that life can be better than it is now. And so we pursue this and that and the other thing. Some of those pursuits end in ruin. There are people who pursue riches and it looks so good on the surface. You go where the money is, but often when you go where the money is, that's the end of the road for the rest of your life. There are so many people who are pursuing wrong opportunities, wrong objectives. All kinds of roads leave us waiting at the end of them saying why did we take this road, why did we go this way? God knows that each one of us, if we will, can take the right road. There are two roads. There's a fork in the road and you can go on the wide road that leads to destruction. Oh it looks so glamorous, it looks so great, it looks so bright and so enticing. And the other one is hard, it's narrow, it's tough, but it leads all the way to heaven. Eternity with God, a life that will never end. How do you get on that road? You stop where you are and you say God, I'm a sinner and I'm sorry and I want Jesus to forgive me and you turn to the Lord Jesus Christ who died for your sins, who was buried and who rose again and you ask Him to be your personal Savior. When Jesus becomes Lord of your life, everything changes. Now you're still going to have rocky roads, you're still going to have some difficulties, but you also have God with you to help you, to undergird you and you have three things that can help you move forward for God's glory. Number one, you have the privilege and the power of prayer. You can talk to God any time you want to, under any circumstance, no matter where you are. So just don't go any place where you can't pray, don't do anything that you can't be caught praying while you're doing it. And secondly you have the Bible, the Word of God. All 66 books of the Bible have information for you directly from God to your heart of hearts and especially as we look into the New Testament and we find the plan of salvation presented again and again and we can grow in Christ as we listen to Jesus' words for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life, for God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved. Here's the problem though. If you have not turned to Jesus from your sins, you are on the road to destruction. You are not a believer and as such you are condemned already but you can make an about face. You can turn around right now. You can say, "God, I've sinned and I'm sorry, forgive me." You can say, "Thank you, God, for sending your Son Jesus Christ to be born of a virgin to live perfectly, to be tempted and never to yield, to die for my sins on a cross on a hill called Calvary." To be put in a tomb buried and then for the tomb to be emptied on that first Easter Sunday for Jesus to be alive and well to rise again and that Jesus Christ, that Son of God, wants to be your Redeemer, your Savior and He's willing but He's not going to force Himself on you. You have to turn to Him and you can right now, whoever you are, whatever your circumstance might be. Jesus after the resurrection was on earth for 40 days and over 500 people saw Him at one time. They've talked about what they saw, so them wrote some stories, so them put some books in the Bible and we know that we can have a relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ that will last forever but it begins at the beginning, begins with you and God. And you're having to say to Him, "God I've messed up. I've pursued the wrong ideas and ideals and I want to turn around to Jesus and I want to ask Him to forgive me and I want to receive the gift of God eternal life through Christ Jesus my Lord. I'm willing to tell other people that I believe, if you'll confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised you from the dead, you will be safe with the heart when beliefs to righteousness with the mouth confession is made to salvation. Make contact with us so we can give you a copy of life at its very best, its free and its for you when you write our call for yours.
