Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Believing always precedes receiving. When you pray, pray by faith. Mark 1124, New King James Version says, "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them and you will have them." Did you get that? As I said earlier, believing precedes receiving. If you are going to pray, you need to do it expectantly. You need to do it with the faith that God is going to answer that prayer specifically as it pleases Him. We don't pray to please ourselves. We pray and act and live if we are believers to please God. And God is not willing that any should perish, but He is willing that all should come through repentance. So what God wants you and me to do is first of all, make certain that we have confessed our sins to Him. That we have thanked Him for that forgiveness. That we are asking Him to make us usable and to use us to do something to glorify Him. Pray without our believers. And after fellowshiping with them and reading God's Word together, then take the plan of salvation to someone who needs the Lord. Tell them simply Jesus loves them. He died for them. He was buried and He rose again, and He wants to present to them the gift of God eternal life. Christ through you can change the world.
