Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. The book of James is pretty pragmatic as it explains and expands on what faith really is. Listen to James 2 17, New King James Version, "Thus also faith by itself if it does not have works is dead." What does this mean? I think it is trying to tell us that if we really have faith, we are going to do something about it. If we believe that Jesus saves, we are going to tell people who don't believe it. We are going to share the gospel with those who need to know that Jesus saves. We need to let them know how he saves. We need to share it with them that they are sinners. You are a sinner. I am a sinner. Everyone is a sinner. We are all have sinned and fall short of God's glory. And then we need to let them know that the wages of sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. When we trust in the Lord and really, really believe on him, we are going to be willing to tell other people about him. So go with other believers. Go with the gospel. Find God's Word and take God's Word to people who could really be saved by Jesus. Yes, it really is true. Jesus saves.
