[music] You're listening to "Telling the Truth" from Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries, "Telling the Truth to and Through Teenagers." Here is Triple T. founder and president, George Dooms. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Listen to 1 Timothy 3.13, New King James Version. For those who have served well as deacons, obtain for themselves a good standing and great boldness in the faith, which is in Christ Jesus. There you have it. A very special tribute to those laypeople, those folk who serve the Lord diligently, but basically without pay. We call them laymen. Lay ladies. Those who have served well as deacons, obtain for themselves a good standing. A good standing means that you have earned a good reputation by doing right and by doing it with diligence and great boldness in the faith. That means that they are communicating Christianity. They are sharing their faith in Christ. And the phrase includes which is in Christ Jesus. God wants you and me to be faithful witnesses, faithful followers of Him, and faithful tellers of the truth to people who need the Lord. Will you pray daily? Read God's Word consistently. You and I need to fellowship with other believers all the time and then we need to go with the gospel at every possible opportunity. I hope you will. May God bless you as you go. Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. 1 Timothy 4-1, New King James. One of the things that is most disturbing is to see someone who attempted or looked like was really serving the Lord, but to give in to the temptation of the devil to listen to deceiving spirits, doctrines of demons, and then depart from what they once professed to be. If you know someone like that, if you are like that, get it together with the Lord. First of all, confess your sins. Ask God to give you faith in Him implicitly. Don't waver. Don't give in. Don't listen to those false doctrines that are widespread in our world today. But rather adhere to the glorious gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Christ who died for our sins, the Christ who was buried, the Christ who rose again, and the Christ who lives in the hearts of every real believer. Put your faith in Him and share your faith in Him with others who don't know Him. Pray with fellow believers. Read the Word of God. Read the Word of God, and then go with the gospel. Share Jesus with someone this very day. The mission of Triple T. Christian News Ministries is telling the truth to through teenagers. We try to help them learn the plan of salvation and how to share it. Training them in pyro-angelism and leadership once they have believed on Christ. Listen to 1 Timothy 412, New King James Version. Let no one despise your youth. But be an example to the believers in Word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. I wish we had time to talk about each one of those words. But let's zero in on two or three of them. People despise youth because they don't live up to what they say they believe. So every teenager who professes faith in Christ needs to be an example to an all-believers in Word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, and especially in faith and purity. God wants us to live the kind of life so others will see Christ in us. No matter what your age, you can be a person who is an example of your faith in Christ. You can be a faith-sharer. You can be a truth-teller. You can be a Christian communicator, if you will. So pray, read God's Word, get in touch with other believers and tell people who don't know Jesus how they can go to heaven. Listen to this warning. 1 Timothy 5, 8, New King James Version. But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he is denied to faith and is worse than an unbeliever. What this is saying is that if you are a Christian, if you are a follower of Jesus Christ, then take care of your family. First, pray with them and for them and embrace them with love. Not only love, but provisions. Give them what they need while they are under your roof and make certain that you are helping them learn the basics of giving. Giving of their time, their talent, and their treasure by being an example and doing that yourself. And it says that people who don't take care of their families are denying their faith and it's worse than an unbeliever. It doesn't say that you do this and you're no longer headed for heaven. What it says is that you really, really are in trouble with God in yourself and your family if you're not doing what you're supposed to do. So before you reach out to others, make certain that you are reaching those people who live where you live, those of your family, share Jesus with them. Some of them want to know you really love them. There are many dangers out there for Christians, for believers who don't do what they are supposed to do and do things they are not supposed to do. But refuse the younger widows for when they have begun to grow wotten against Christ. They desire to marry, having condemnation because they have cast off their first faith. It's that last phrase that is the very essence of the most dangerous thing that any believer could do, to cast off their first faith. That means that they have grown cold in their relationship with their Father God and the Lord Jesus. The Holy Spirit will convict believers when they do wrong, but He will not force them to do the right thing. This scripture is telling us to be aware that there are people who are going to grow wotten against Christ. So let's pray for them and let's help them understand how much God loves them and let's help them do right, not wrong. There is somebody in your world that you can reach by first praying for them, bringing them to God, sharing the Word of God with them and watching God work wonderfully in their hearts and lives. You love them by sharing Jesus with them after praying for them. Is there somebody that you care enough to do that? Listen carefully to 1 Timothy 6-10, New King James Version. It's very important. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their readingness and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. One thing you need to understand is this verse is misquoted so often. People say, "Money is the root of all evil." No. Money is good if it's used for God. It's the love of money. It's the greediness that comes and it's the straying from the faith that happens because of greediness. And when this does take place, the persons who do it are in danger. They are going to pierce themselves through with many sorrows. I have known some folk who have kept other people from giving to God, people who had promised to give to the Lord, but because of relationships with the donor and their greediness, wanting all of the money to come to them, they kept it from going to ministries to which it was previously promised. So you need to be careful in your love of money, love God more, and give to God with exceeding joy and watch God bless you abundantly and multiply your personal ministry by praying and giving. Yes, the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil, but listen to 1 Timothy 611, New King James Version. The verse following the one that gives us the warning, "But you, O man, of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness." That's the very opposite of loving money. Pursue righteousness. Do the right thing always under the right circumstance. And godliness, draw close to God. Pray consistently. Read the Word of God. Do what the Word of God says to do. Faith. Not only place your faith implicitly in the Lord Jesus Christ, but share your faith with those who need to know Him. And have love for your neighbor. Be patient. Exercise the patience as best you can. Tribulations are going to come your way. So when it does come, continue as best you can to have a spirit of gentleness. Watch God make you usable and use you fantastically. Again, read God's Word. Pray all the time under every circumstance. Go to those believers whom you know and share things with them and pray together for those who don't know the Lord. And then together, go with the gospel while you can to whom you can. Every Saturday at 7.27 p.m. you are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T, 13,000 US-41 North at Boone Building Harmony Road, midway between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport. Every first Saturday, a good news club for ages 6 to 9 is available in a separate room. For more information, call 812-867-2418 or visit www.tripletchristianyouth.org. You've just listened to several verses from God's Word that talk about the word "faith." Faith from various vantage points. Faith is a factor. But if we lose our faith or misplace our faith or abuse our faith, we're in trouble. So keep your faith intact. Keep trusting the Lord. Our goal at Triple T Christian Youth Ministries is to keep evangelizing youth. But you be watchful in all things. Indoor afflictions, do the work of an evangelist. Fulfill your ministry. God has a ministry for you to fulfill if you are a believer in Christ. The way it happens at Triple T Christian Youth Ministries is that we use every means and media possible to communicate Christianity. We share the Gospel to and through teenagers and they in turn take God's Word and His love to people who need the Lord. We have a thing called Project Poor Claim and we utilize every thing that we can in what we call the public relations outreach like radio and newspaper and print and TV and internet and billboards and anything and everything that we can do to share God's glorious Gospel with people who need the Lord. We hope that you will understand that God has a plan for your life. There's something that you can do that nobody can do quite the way you could do it if you would do what you should do. So what should you do? You should share your faith in Jesus Christ with people who need the Lord. And if you don't know Him, here's how you can. Say, "God, I'm a sinner and I'm sorry and mean it." Turn to Jesus from your sins, leaving the old things behind, picking up the new things that God would have you to do and watch Him work wonderfully in your heart, in your life, in your circumstance. God has a plan and He wants us to work together. At Triple T Christian Youth Ministries, we have a thing that we call the culture of cooperation. We work with other Christian ministries. We do what we can to help them and they in turn cooperate with us. For instance, one of the things that we do is to work alongside the Evansville Christian Life Center, the Dream Center in Evansville, right to life of Southwest Indiana, Teen Missions International all over the world, including AIDS, orphans, and street children, and motorcycles Sunday School Mission all across Africa, and Youth of Angism Association. We are a part of all of these things and they are a part of what we're doing. Through Project Proclaim, thousands have heard the Gospel so far in 2012. Triple T teams and guests have ministered in 15 tri-state counties. Hundreds of 10 to 19-year-olds have received a New King James Bible. Thousands have been given a copy of God's ABCs. Additional thousands listen every day to telling the truth. We are thrilled to be able to share the Gospel through the billboards where multiple thousands see the message daily. And we take the Gospel to street fairs and county fairs, and God's gracious and good and wonderful. Light the night will bridge 2012 and 2013 Lord willing at Triple T. The theme "Tiger Tracking Safari" and youth are helping with the one million dimes for digital campaign underway now to provide a large two-sided digital sign with a constantly changing message along US 41 at Triple T. Audio-visual messages inside Triple T and computer upgrades. Among the people in more than 25,000 vehicles passing Triple T every day are more than 2,500 students and faculty traveling to and from North High School and junior high, just one mile north of Triple T. We're launching Keynote, a new blog by Tammy and me. January 1, God willing. It will feature youth evangelism ideas information who's doing what, where, and what's happening, where. Inspiration, biblical insights, and resource items. Local church pastors and youth leaders partner in youth evangelism with Triple T to reach youth in their communities with the Gospel. Youth are being transported to and from Triple T and Triple T staff and gas minister to local church congregations. The goal for 2013 is to go to 31 of the 93 counties within 100 miles. 2014 we want to double that number and go to 62. And then in 2015 to go to all 93 which will triple the number hopefully we'll be going to this year. That means we'll be able to go all across the Tri-State. Exposing the Gospel to those people who live within 100 miles. Did you know that there are 417,000 10 to 19 year olds who live within 100 miles of where we are? Evans, Indiana has 21,000 of them and the rest of them are in small towns and rural communities. Most of them out in places like where you are. Tiger team participants are consistently challenged to share their faith and receive training and opportunities in peer evangelism, leadership, and to become creative Christian communicators. The Triple T key action plan provides biblical and practical youth evangelism training and resources for adult youth workers to become coaches. And we're excited about this because we're reaching out to more and more communities and we're connecting or reconnecting with people everywhere. God has been gracious to us in letting us go to so many places already this year to 15 different counties. Last year to four more than this year and making it 19 and then again God willing 31 next year. And next year is rapidly approaching. And by the way speaking of rapidly approaching did you know that you're invited to come to Triple T for lunch? Yes, you are next Tuesday the 11th of December at 11 30 or if you can't make that day Thursday at 11 30 at Triple T the 13th or Saturday at 11 30 the 15th of December. We're providing soup and sandwiches to help you see what this ministry is all about and we have a gift for everybody that comes. We want you to know what Triple T is. We want to take you on a quick tour of what we call the continuing story of youth evangelism in America. You can see what has happened, what is happening and what we anticipate will happen in the days ahead. So we thank you for being interested in this ministry that is reaching so many youth with God's glorious gospel. Again, partners in youth evangelism, individual youth leaders, local church youth groups become members of Youth Evangelism Association. And it's a very special national network of aggressively evangelistic Bible believing church connected youth ministries. Again, Tiger Team training for leadership and peer evangelism for 10 to 19 year olds is offered once a month. The next one on the 15th of December, just next Saturday. Let us know if you want to come. The deadline is Thursday the 13th so we know who's coming. We also have Tiger Team evangelistic efforts going out across the tri-state, again working with local churches in each community. And we're thrilled because of what God has already done, but we're very anticipatory about what He's going to be doing. We hope that you will understand that God can help you make a difference in your world. God willing, again, all these things are if it is the will of the Lord. But if it is His will, then throughout 2013, the search will continue every Saturday for praise bands, drama teams, singing groups, and individuals in art, speech, writing, drama, instrumental in vocal music, audio, video, web, and other communications. These creative Christian communicators are going to not only share the gospel here. We're going to provide a platform, but they're going to take it out wherever they live and do other communities. As God opens doors, local church partners in youth evangelism can produce Tiger Team impact evangelistic youth efforts in up to 31 tri-state counties during 2013. We already said that, but I want you to pray about that, that we'll go to the right county at the right time, at the right place, to the right community. God's great, and He's wonderful, and He's giving us guidance and direction and His blessings. We're trusting the Lord. Our omnipotent omniscient God knows the possibilities now throughout 2013 and '14 and '15, and on through 2020 and far, far beyond. And all glory goes to God for what He has done and is doing and wants to do. We're thrilled because more people are becoming partners with us in local church situations, and we have a number of people that are now what we call Tiger Teammates. And you can be one of those. Just a $20 investment makes you one and provides a scholarship for another youth, 10 to 19, to come to what we call Tiger Team Training in Leadership and Perivangelism. Stay tuned. We're going to give you more information about how you can be a part and invite you to come to be with us this coming week. You're invited to join us for lunch this coming Tuesday, which will be December 11 at 1130 at Triple T. We're located 4 miles south of Interstate 64, 4 miles north of Evansville, Vandenberg Airport, right at the intersection of 41 and Boombuller Harmony Road. Or you can come Thursday if you can't come on Tuesday, that'll be the 13th, or Saturday the 15th if you can't come Tuesday or Thursday. It's a free meal, it's a luncheon with soup and sandwiches, and we'll take you on a tour of Triple T, and especially the meeting room that shows you the story, the ongoing story of youth evangelism in America. We invite you to prayerfully consider being a Tiger Teammate. We need people who will pray daily, and we need those who will give at least $20, because that will make you a Tiger Teammate, and it provides a leading youth Tiger Team scholarship for providing training in peer evangelism and Christian leadership for one more youth, 10 to 19. We want you to know more about what we do and how we do it, and again we have a gift for you if you'll come to be with us. We hope you will. You can multiply your ministry. Now, may He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. That's 2 Corinthians 9, 10 and 11 of King James. God will bless you if you are willing to invest your time, your talent, and your treasure for His glory. But if you don't know Jesus, you can't buy your way to heaven, you can't earn it, you can't work it up so that you'll be okay. That's not the way it works. It's a faith factor. Here's how it starts. When you admit that you are a sinner, for all have sinned and fall short of God's glory. When you turn to Jesus from your sins, God loved you so much that He sent His only begotten Son that our beliefs in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. These are the days when we sing about Christmas. We sing about the baby in the manger. The virgin born son of God. Mary was a virgin. God was the father. Joseph took care of her, later married her, but they were those people that were appointed to first Mary give birth to Jesus and Joseph to take care of Him after God fathered Him through Mary. Jesus, born of a virgin, lived perfectly. He was tempted, but He never gave in. He taught. He preached. He healed. He touched. He shared. And then living perfectly, He died. Christ died for your sins, for my sins. He died on a cruel cross, but He was put in a tomb. And three days later, Jesus rose from the dead. And He lives now at the right end of God the Father, and He will hear your prayer if you will say, "God, I'm a sinner, and I'm sorry." And you will turn to Jesus and believe on Him. Then God wants you to do the third thing, which is to tell others, "If you confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart, and God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved with the heart when believes under righteousness, with the mouth can face and is made in salvation." When I just shared with you, we call God's ABCs, and we have given thousands and thousands of those out across the tri-state this year and beyond. And we want you to know that God loves you, and we would count it a privilege to pray with you. So if you would like to have somebody personally pray with you, just call this number, area code 812-867-2418. Or if you want to know more about triple T, call area code 812-867-2418. And if you can't come Tuesday or Thursday or next Saturday, well, come on tonight. We'd be delighted to have you. It starts at 727. Thank you for listening. We hope that God's going to give you a marvelous Christmas time. Because remember, Christmas is because of Jesus, and Jesus is alive and well. Christ through you can change the world. Every Saturday at 727 PM, you are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T, 13,000 US-41 North at Boone Building Harmony Road, mid-way between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport.
