Telling The TRUTH
120112 Telling The Truth 28 Minute Program
[music] You're listening to "Telling the Truth" from Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries, "Telling the Truth to and through Teenagers." Here is Triple T. Founder and President George Dumes. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ." This is Paul's promise to the Thessalonians. May I reiterate it directly to you in a very personal way? Therefore, we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power. 2 Thessalonians 1-11, New King James Version. Prayer changes things in people. And because you are listening, I believe that God wants us to pray for one another. I am praying for you. Hopefully, you will pray for us as we continue to share God's glorious gospel with every person we possibly can, including you. And I hope that you will take the gospel seriously. Understand that God has sent His Son through the Virgin Mary. Jesus lived perfectly, died for us, was buried and rose again, and He wants that message to be shared with people everywhere. I can't go where you can go, but you can take the gospel to people who need the Lord where you live. 1st, pray. Read God's Word, fellowship and pray with other believers, and then take God's plan of salvation to people who need Him. Paul is writing his first letter to a very special person. Listen to Timothy, "My true Son in the faith, grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord." 1st Timothy 1, 2, New King James Version. Grace, God's grace, mercy, God's unfathomable mercy, and His peace. The peace that comes from God, our Father. Peace doesn't come from outside. It comes from God inside you, from God our Father, and Jesus Christ our Lord. Question, "Is Jesus Christ your Lord? Have you admitted that you have sinned? Have you turned to Jesus from your sins? Have you believed on the Lord Jesus? Are you telling other people you believe and they can too? Are you praying constantly? Are you reading God's Word faithfully? Are you fellas shipping with other believers consistently? Are you taking the gospel to people you know who are having spiritual difficulties? Or who may not even know Jesus Christ? You can, if you will. It's up to you. There are people waiting. You know the good news, you've heard it. Now will you share it? Someone's waiting. Have you heard people arguing about things that they shouldn't even talk about? Do you know folk who are listening to lies? Do you know people who are sharing false thoughts and words? If so, pray for them. Take a listen to 1 Timothy 1-4, New King James Version. Nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies which cause disputes rather than godly edification, which is in faith. The opposite of disputes and arguments and false presentation is God's edification and explanations of what God is doing to give honor and glory to Him and to help people. How is your faith today? Is it implicitly placed in the Lord Jesus Christ? Are you talking with Him consistently? Are you reading the Word of God every single day and letting God speak to you? Then are you fellowshipping with others who are believers and to gather are you praying for those who don't know the Lord? And are you determined to take the gospel to them? Do it today. Again, somebody is waiting. If you don't tell them, who will? You're only one, but you are one. Do what you need to do, and someone can be reached by you. Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith. 1 Timothy 1-5, New King James. Does that apply to you? It can, if you will allow it to. I want to share an opportunity with you. At this time tomorrow on this same station, I will present God's plan of salvation. We call it the ABCs of the gospel. You can tell people to listen. You can share Christ by doing that yourself, and you can jot down the ABCs if you haven't already. If you would like printed copies, you can write to us, and we will send some directly to you. Listen to the address at the end of the broadcast today. Meanwhile, understand that God loves you and He wants you to love others. Love of the pure heart from a good conscience and sincere faith. If you will do this, then there are people you can reach just by asking them to listen in tomorrow. Will you? Pray for them. And share this opportunity with other believers. Read the Word of God. Let God speak to your heart to help you reach out. Put your faith into action. Remember tomorrow. And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 1-14, New King James Version. Is that you? Can it be said of you? The grace of God is magnificent. His promises are in God's ABCs. Listen. Admit you have sinned. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3-23. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6-23. Believe on Christ, for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3-16. Confess Christ publicly. That if you confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes under righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10, 9, and 10. That's the way to heaven. It's God's way. You can spend forever with Him. If you haven't believed on Him, you can. Now is the time. Today is the day of salvation. Listen to 1 Timothy 1-19, New King James. Having faith in a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith, have suffered shipwreck. Has that ever happened to you? Have you been shipwrecked? A lot of things happened to us. Some not pleasant at all, but few of us have suffered a literal shipwreck, as Paul did. Having faith in a good conscience, God wants us to make sure that we are confessing Christ because if we do, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Some have rejected the faith, the faith of God. Faith in Jesus Christ who died for us, who was buried and who rose again on the third day to give us life that lasts forever. Yes, Christ came to save sinners and the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. If you have received Him, share it with those who haven't. Pray with those who have and together go with the gospel to others. If you will do this, Christianity will be communicated, the gospel will be furthered and people will be born into God's forever family. It's up to you. Have you been placed in a position of leadership with your local congregation? If so, you need to listen very carefully to 1 Timothy 3, 8 and 9, New King James Version. If this is not you, then share it with someone who is in leadership. Likewise, deacons, be reverent, not double-tongued, not given much wine, not greedy for money, holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience. Those are very explicit and specific things. Reverent. Reverence toward God and His Word. Not double-tongued. Not saying one thing while thinking another and hoping you won't be found out. Not given to wine. Drinking alcohol is a no-no for every Christian leader, I believe, and I admonish you not to drink. Not greedy for money. So many people try to get anything and everything they can at someone else's expense. The Bible says the love of money is the root of all evil. Too many leaders fall into the money trap. Don't be one, please. Holding the mystery of faith with a pure conscience. If you think right, you will do right. Every Saturday at 7.27 p.m. you are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T, 13,000 US-41 North at Boone Building Harmony Road, midway between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport. Triple T's key legal society, and by the way, K-E-Y means keep evangelizing youth. So tick, tick, tick, key legal society, providing opportunities for triple T's future growth and impact is being developed. Details will be announced early in 2013. To fulfill the vision and accomplish the mission, the number one need is more people diligently praying. When more 10 to 19-year-olds become tigers, and more adults become tiger teammates, thousands of unreached youth can hear the gospel, turn to Jesus from their sins, and receive God's gift of eternal life. Will you pray? Pray about being a tiger teammate. I've got something really special to share with you in a few moments, but meanwhile, let me just ask you to do this. Let us know that you're going to be praying with us on a consistent basis, like every day, if you will, and then send at least $20, and that qualifies you as a tiger teammate encourager. Those who give $20 or more a month are an average of that, will be tiger team enlargers. And then there are a few folk, not enough yet, but more are doing this all the time, are investing an average of $100 monthly, and they become tiger teammate expanders. That's how we move forward. That's how we're going to go with the gospel as fast as we can, as far as we can, as deliberately as we can. Will you sincerely pray about being the best tiger teammate you can in whatever category you possibly can? It would be great to have you partner with us in this magnificent ministry. Creative Christian communicators are coming to Triple T week by week. Throughout 2013, the search will continue every Saturday for praise bands, drama teams, singing groups, and individuals in art, speech, writing, drama, instrumental in vocal music, audio, video, web, and other communications. As God opens doors, local church partners in youth evangelism can produce tiger team impact evangelistic youth efforts in up to 31 tri-state counties during 2013. 62 counties in 2014 and 93 counties in 2015. February 1, 2014 is to be Triple T's 48th birthday. February 7, 2015 will begin Triple T's jubilee year, going to February 6, 2016, Triple T's golden anniversary. This year-long celebration will set the tone for Triple T's second 50-year span if the Lord terries his return. Our omnipotent omniscient God knows the possibilities now through 2020 and far, far beyond. All glory goes to God. But you be watchful in all things endure afflictions to the work of evangelists fulfill your ministry. 2 Timothy 4-5, We can change. Since 1966, Triple T Christian Youth Ministries continues its mission of telling the truth to through teenagers. Because of the grace of God and the faithfulness and generosity of those who pray and invest time, talent, and treasure, thousands of Christian youth have responded to the message, Christ through you can change the world. And many thousands more have had the opportunity to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. An average of about 500 youth each year make decisions for Christ through Triple T evangelistic youth efforts in partnership with local churches and ministries. As Triple T moves toward 50 years of youth evangelism ministry and beyond, there are tremendous opportunities to keep evangelizing youth, to reach many more youth for Christ, and to train and prepare Christian youth to reach their peers with the gospel as teenagers and throughout their lives wherever God leads them in their future. You're invited to be a Tiger teammate to help this happen. And by the way, if you would like to know more about Triple T, we invite you to come and join us for lunch. We'll be having special luncheons for Tiger teammates and guests and prospects on Tuesday, December 11 at 11.30, Thursday, December 13 at 11.30, and Saturday, December 15 at 11.30. Now, again, you're invited. God's Word says, "Surely, blessing, I will bless you, and multiplying, I will multiply you." If you would like to multiply your ministry, you can be a part of Triple T Christian youth ministries, which reaches out across the tri-state and way, way, way, beyond. We hope that you will understand that God really does care about you. Now, we have a year in giving opportunity for you. Again, every two dollars will be matched by another dollar making the two dollars you give three dollars. It would be great to hear from you. But meanwhile, the most important thing I can tell you is that God loves you and that Jesus Christ, born of a virgin, lived perfectly, was tempted but never yielded, and then died. Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures. He was buried and he rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures. To receive God's gift of eternal life, just admit you have sinned, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God has eternal life. In Christ Jesus our Lord. Believe on Christ. For God so loved the world that he gave has only begotten Son that her believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Then confess Christ publicly. If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes under righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. If you're willing right now to say God I've sinned, and I'm sorry, to turn to Jesus from your sins, to receive his gift of eternal life, we want to send you a very special gift. It's called life and it's very best. It's free and it's for you, and all you have to do is either call or write, and we'll get it right to you.
