[music] You're listening to "Telling the Truth" from Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries, "Telling the Truth to and Through Teenagers." Here is Triple T. Founder and President George Dumes. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ." Where are you right now? Jeremiah was in a predicament. He was in a precarious position. Jeremiah 33.1, New King James, says, "Moreover, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah a second time while he was still shut up in the court of the prison." Not a pleasant circumstance, but Jeremiah knew that he was going to have to call on the Lord because he needed him very, very much. What about you? Will you start where you are, wherever that might be? Are you willing to say, "God, here I am." Make me usable and use me today to glorify you? Are you willing to read his word and listen to what he has to say to you? Are you willing to pray diligently? Are you willing to pray with others who are believers? Are you willing to pray for those who are not believers, but who could be if someone like you would tell them how they could believe on Christ to become children of God? God has a responsibility for you to accomplish for Him, but you have to start where you are. And then move where God wants you to go. As He wants you to go, when He wants you to go, where He wants you to go. Meanwhile, start today. In Jeremiah 332, New King James Version, Jeremiah is saying, "Thus says the Lord who made it, the Lord who formed it, to establish it, the Lord is His name." God wants us to know He is the Lord. Is He the Lord of everything in your life? Someone has said, "If He is not the Lord of everything, He can't be the Lord of anything." And someone said, "Unless you have made Him the Lord of all, He cannot be the Lord at all in your life." Where does God fit into your plans? Into your today, into your tomorrows. Are you making Him Lord? The Lord, He is God. His name needs to be glorified, magnified, exalted. That's why we pray in Jesus' name, because Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus is God the Son. So let's do more praying and preparing and sharing the good news of the saving power of the Lord Jesus. Pray. Fellowship with other believers that God speak to you through His Word, and then tell the truth today to someone who needs to know. Him whom to know right is life eternal. His name is Jesus. Cliff Brandon was a successful lawyer, a carpet attorney for a major oil company, and then for argy laterno, and all of his far-flung ministries and businesses. Cliff then became an evangelist, and at every meeting, he would start out by saying, "Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know." Jeremiah 33-3, New King James. Cliff would have the audience repeat it two more times. "Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know." After letting it sink in, after making a couple of comments about it, he let the people understand that only God would be able to accomplish what was needed in each life in each situation, in each circumstance. So one more time, the audience would say with Cliff, "Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know." Cliff was a personal friend, and we prayed together about an idea that God had given to him. To put together the sole winner's New Testament, it was a very special presentation of Scripture that was marked with the plan of salvation so that anybody could quickly share the gospel. What are you doing with what God has entrusted to you? Jeremiah found himself in the court of the prison, but he started right where he was, and he called on the Lord, and God heard, and he answered. And this is what God said as recorded in Jeremiah 33-6, New King James Version. "Behold, I will bring it health and healing. I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth." Wonderful, wonderful promises from God. God will hear and answer your prayers also, and he will help you if you will start where you are to call on him. He will answer you, and he will show you wonderful, great, magnificent, unprecedented things that you can accomplish to bring honor and glory to him. The most important thing a Christian can do is pray. And the second thing is to read God's Word. "When you pray," say Lord, "show me what you want me to learn here from the Bible, and then read it and heed it." Be sure to fellowship with other believers. Share concerns that you have and they have for others who don't know Christ, and then work out the way, the time, the place to go from where you are to where you need to be to share Jesus. Remember, God cares. Wherever you are right now, are you facing people problems? Are there those who are not where they should be? Are you concerned? Are you praying? Jeremiah was deeply concerned because of the devastation that had happened, but listened to a very special promise from God to Jeremiah. New King James Version, Jeremiah 33-7 says, "And I will cause the captives of Judah and the captives of Israel to return and will rebuild those places as at the first." That's a fantastic promise, isn't it? God is going to bring the people back. He is going to rebuild the places where they once were. God can do the same for you. He can rebuild families. He can rebuild relationships. He can reestablish congregations. He can do whatever is needed, but we need to ask Him to do what only He can do to first make us usable and then use us to bring honor and glory to Him. Read His Word. Go with the gospel. Watch God work wonderfully in the hearts and lives of people for whom you have a great concern. Who are you praying for today? Do you expect God to answer? Are you concerned about some friends or family members who have strayed from the Lord, who have perhaps put other gods before the God, the God of creation? Perhaps they have been involved in immorality. Whatever sins have been committed, God is willing to forgive. We can't go and confess their sins, but we can pray for them directly, diligently and distinctly, asking God to move through the power and presence of His Holy Spirit into the hearts and lives of people for whom we are concerned, for whom we care a great deal. Listen to the promise of Jeremiah 33 8, New King James Version, straight from God to Jeremiah. I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, by which they have sinned against me, and I will pardon all their iniquities, by which they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against me. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus, our Lord. Call on Him, ask Him to reach out to the hearts of people and watch Him work wonderfully. God is concerned about people, and especially His chosen ones. Listen to Jeremiah 33 9, New King James. "Then it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them. They shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it." Do you understand what God is saying here? He says people are going to sit up and listen. They're going to pay attention because I am going to work. I am going to move. I am going to bring people back to me who have sinned and fallen short of my expectations. Yes, God cares, and God wants to give. The gift of God is eternal life to everyone who will believe. Will you help get this message to folk who need the Lord? I hope you will. God will be pleased. They will be saved, and you will be blessed. I hope you are praying in fellowship with other believers, reading and listening to God's Word in your heart of hearts and then going with His glorious gospel. What are you going to do today for the Lord Jesus Christ? Go! Every Saturday at 7.27 p.m. You are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T, 13,000 US-41 North at Booneville near Harmony Road, midway between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport. Every first Saturday, a good news club for those in 1st through 5th grades is available in a separate area. For more information call 812-867-2418 or visit www.tripletchristianyouth.org. ♪♪ It's really good that you are listening today. There's some things that we're going to try to share that could help you reach people and help you become all that you can be to bring honor and glory to God. The Tiger Team Impact Philosophy begins with prayer and then seeking God's will. That's always step one and step two. And beyond that is goal setting. God wants us to set goals. He wants us to start where we are, not where you wish you were, not where I wish I was, but where you have been and where you are now. Where are you physically? Well today, physically I'm in Vandenberg County, Indiana, just outside of Evansville, right across the railroad tracks from Darmstadt, in the state of Indiana, in the tri-state area of Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky, the Midwestern section of the United States, in the United States of America, in the Western Hemisphere, the continent of North America, and on planet Earth. In case you wondered where you were, check it out. Now if you're listening and you're someplace else, find out where you really are. And listen, you have to start where you are. You have to start where you are geographically, but also physically. Where are you physically? What kind of body do you possess? How is the physical you? Where are you mentally? Are you with me? Are we together? Or are you someplace else in the world of daydreams? Mentally, where are you? Start where you are in your mind, and then start where you are socially. Who are you friends? Who are you next to? With whom are you associating? What kind of world is your world socially speaking? Where are you? Start where you are socially, and now the most important one. Where are you spiritually? Are you a Christian? Are you a believer? Have you been born again? Have you admitted that you have sinned? Have you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ? Have you confessed Him publicly? Do you know Him whom to know right as life eternal? Are you truly a believer on Christ? Are you in Christ? Where are you spiritually? When you take this inventory and you do this checkup on the real you and you identify your position, then it's time to really start right where you are. We've shared with you from the Old Testament book of Jeremiah, as Jeremiah was in a peculiar position, a particular place, and God spoke to him. That 33rd chapter of Jeremiah is filled with wonderful, wonderful promises and blessings that God put into effect. And now if you'll start where you are, you can impact your world. Your world can be changed because you and Jesus make a majority. Starting where you are means you have to take an inventory of all these particular parts of you. Then you have to determine what you're going to do where you are. So where are you? I hope you're in a position to say God make me usable and use me. I will give back to you all that you have entrusted to me. I will one more time present my body a living sacrifice. Here I am Lord. Send me where you want me to go from where I am. Can you do that? Can you pray that kind of a prayer? That kind of a commitment? Are you willing to make that today? Again, we have the opportunity of doing some things that are very, very special. You see, we have a very practical plan. It's designed to help you communicate Christianity. It's extremely flexible and therefore it's adaptable to all situations, including yours. It is not an end in itself, but a means to an end. Its development depends on your action. It's as expansive as you desire it to be. Its only limitation is your lack of involvement. Without you, it's worthless. With you, it's potentially as high as your sky, as wide as your world, as deep as your dedication. So where are you? We're sharing this tried and proven formula for effective youth evangelism. Every premise of the plan is based on four imperative fundamentals. One, the Bible is the Word of God. It is meant to be followed consistently. You cannot be an outstanding Christian worker without personally adhering to the concepts of the scriptures, beginning with an individual, intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus. Two, prayer is basic. It's a daily necessity for your development and growth as a Christian. Prayer changes things and prayer changes people. Believing always precedes receiving. Someone has said seeing is believing. No, believing is seeing in advance what God is going to do. Three, obeying God's Word predicates participating in God's work. It involves the total you, the mental, the physical, the social, the spiritual. Four, communicating Christianity is the number one task of the committed Christian. There is no such thing as commitment without communication. There is nothing that works like communicating the Christian message. God has told us to go. Jesus said go, and we are to go with the Gospel to people who need to know about Jesus Christ. How does it work? Well, when we start where we are, we look around us. And certainly we share ourselves in this particular position, and someone has well phrased it this way. Draw a circle around where you are and step into that circle and say, "God, start using the person in this circle to impact the world starting him now today with me." And then bring into that circle other people and expand the circle. This is your tiger team. And as you start where you are, you now invite other people to come inside. One, an adult. Let me help you. That's you. A committed Christian young person. One male. One young person who is female. And one who is either male or female. Now you have a nucleus of a minimum of four. That's the beginning of your team. The four of you start where you are to reach out and bring other people into your circle and you expand your circle. And as you contemplate not only finding out where you are, you need to next determine what to do about it. How are you going to share Christ? How are you going to invite other people to hear the gospel? Where are you going to go with God's good news? We're excited about the possibilities of going out to county fair after county fair and street festivals and sharing Jesus. But we have to start where we are and make all the preparations and then bring people on the team. Tiger means teens involved, going evangelizing regularly. This is how it works. A person, a youth comes to triple T on a Saturday night. They are a guest. Most of those who come for the first time are brought by a friend. And then we invite them to come back the second time and then the third time. And when they come three Saturdays, they become a Tiger team contender. When they earn 3,000 points by being involved, how? By going to a local Bible believing church and getting the pastor to verify the fact that they're there. Sunday by Sunday, going to a Sunday school that teaches the Bible. Being involved in a local church youth group, 100 points for each of those events each week. And they continue. When they bring friends, they earn more points. When they memorize scripture, more points. Until when they have 3,000 points by being involved in all of these circumstances and possibilities, they become a Tiger team member. Then they move on up the ladder. And we have teenagers from across the tri-state area who have earned points, who have become tigers, and who are going out sharing their faith with family and friends. Then to back them up, we have adults like you who will invest $20 and they become Tiger teammates. The first $20 provides a scholarship to train one of the world's greatest teenagers in peer evangelism and leadership. Stay tuned and we'll tell you more about how the whole team concept works. How you can be an enlarger or even an expander. So don't miss it. You can be a vital part of the team. Yes, you can be a Tiger teammate. Tiger teammates are Christian adults willing to invest time, talent, and treasure. Encouragers pray and give $20 at least once, and God can use them in a very special way. Enlargers pray an average giving $20 to $25 or more each month. That really helps, but the expanders are those who pray and give a monthly average of $100 or more. As we have more people who are encouragers and enlargers, all of these things can happen. The teenagers, the pre-teens, can be very encouraged because we provide a scholarship. The first $20 contribution given by each Tiger teammate annually provides a leading youth Tiger team scholarship, providing training in peer evangelism and Christian leadership. Every $10 contribution can get the gospel to another 10 to 19-year-old through one-on-one sharing, Bible distribution, evangelistic youth efforts, and public relations outreach, including billboards, telling the truth radio broadcast, the podcast, and more. You can multiply your ministry by praying and being a part of making this Tiger team impact happen right where you are. Again, we're going to be going to several counties in the next few weeks, hopefully right where you live. You can help multiply by listening and heeding 2 Corinthians 9 verses 10 and 11, New King James, listen. Now may he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. We're depending on God to speak to the hearts of people. And this is a promise God gives to you when you do things that will please him. Hebrew 6, 14 says, "Surely blessing I will bless you and multiplying I will multiply you." We're endeavoring to multiply the ministry by getting the gospel to as many people as possible as quickly as possible.
