[music] You're listening to "Telling the Truth" from Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries, "Telling the Truth to and through teenagers." Here is Triple T. founder and president, George Dooms. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus taught us how to pray, and He told us to pray for God's will. Listen to Matthew 6, 10, New King James Version. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. God has a perfect will. He has a perfect will for you, for your life. He wants you to follow Him. He wants you to be in tune with Him and to accomplish for Him what would please Him the most. Are you reading the Word of God? Are you listening to the Lord? Are you talking with Him? Are you asking Him to show you His will? Are you then fellowshiping with other believers and together are you asking the Lord to give you the privilege of being ambassadors for Jesus Christ to those folk who need to know Him, whom to know are right is life eternal? There is someone you can reach if you are in the will of God, and God will provide all that you need to follow His guidance, His direction, and to be in the center of His will. I hope you will do this as a person and as a congregation with those people with whom you are in fellowship who are also believers. Are you willing to go with the gospel? It is God's will for you and for the people with whom you will share His good news. Seek God's will. Listen to Matthew 6-10, New King James Version. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you. Whatever you need, God will supply if you are in tune with Him. Do you really want to know the will of God for you? He will reveal it to you. His word is quick and powerful and sharper than a two-edged sword. You've got to open the Scriptures and let God talk with you through specific verses in the Bible. Understanding of God's word is important and then you can abide in Him and He will abide in you. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you. Things means receiving what you need and God will provide. First be in tune with Him, reading and heeding His word, fellowshiping with other believers. Pray consistently and then take the gospel to people who need to know Jesus. Are you doing this? Are you communicating Christianity personally to people who need the Lord? You can, if you will. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise as some count slackness, but is long suffering toward us. Not willing that any should perish but that all should come through repentance. 2 Peter 3-9, New King James. God doesn't want anybody to go to hell. He wants us all to spend eternity with Him in heaven, but we have to respond to the gospel. God is not willing to any should perish. He is willing that all should come through repentance. But depends on people like you and me to make that happen. We have to tell people Jesus saves. We have to let them know that Christ died for their sins, our sins, and that He was buried and He rose again and that by believing on Him, we, they, can have the gift of God eternal life. In Christ Jesus, our Lord, and that they ought to tell people about Him. During the Christ from sin, God will forgive and then He will give the gift of God, life that lasts forever. No God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come through repentance. Are you doing something about this personally? Are you praying? Are you fellowshiping with other believers? Are you trusting the Lord to take you to the people who need to know Him? Ephesians 5, 15 through 17, New King James gives us information about how we can be prepared to know and to do God's will. Listen, see then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be unwise but understand what the will of the Lord is. God is not willing that any should perish but He is willing that everyone should come through repentance. To come to Him, admit that they have sinned, to believe on Christ, to confess Him publicly, to be born again, to be members of God's forever family. That's God's will, but God will not force that. He expects us to share that wonderful, great, good news with people who need Jesus. Who do you know, who doesn't know the Lord? Are you walking correctly, circumspectly? Are you being wise and not being foolish? Are you redeeming the time? The days are evil. That's an understatement in our world, isn't it? But God wants to make you usable and to be usable. He wants to use us to accomplish His purpose, His will. Will you go and tell people about Jesus? Do you want to know God's will for you personally? God gives us formula after formula, scripture after scripture, to tell us how to live, how to know and do His will. Ephesians 6, 6 and 7, New King James, gives us some wonderful insights. Listen, not with eye service as men pleasers but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart with good will, doing service as to the Lord and not to men. Serving the Lord is a wonderful way to live. And one of the great things that we can do is take the good news of the saving power of Jesus to people who need Him. It is God's will that none should perish. It is His will that everyone should hear the gospel. To turn to Jesus from their sins, to believe, to receive, not with eye service, not to be pleasers of people, but to serve the Lord Jesus, doing the will of God from the heart. God knows all about us. Is your heart in tune with Him? With good will, are you doing service as to the Lord and not to men? Yes, the way to serve Jesus is by fellowshipping with other believers, by taking the gospel to folk who need to know Him. Are you continuing to seek God's will for your life? If you are in tune with the Lord, He is going to give you the desires of your heart. He wants us to pray by faith, trusting that He is going to answer prayer. First John 5, 14, and 15, New King James says, "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions, that we have asked of Him." Now the prerequisite here is to know and do God's will. Very, very explicitly, God says, "If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us." Seeking the will of God is an important part of everyday living for the Christian. If you are a believer, then you can talk with the Lord and let Him talk with you through His word. You can talk with others about Him, who know Him, in fellowship, and evangelism with those who do not know Him, in the sharing of the gospel, communicating Christianity. It is God's will that none should perish. Are you doing something about that today? If not, you can pray and go. Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you, what is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever, amen. Hebrews 13, 2021, New King James Version. There you have it. God's peace can come your way through the Lord Jesus. Christ died for our sins, He was buried, He rose again, and now He lives, interceding for us at the right hand of God the Father, and in dwelling, through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, believers in Christ. Do you know that every good work is yours to accomplish to do His will? Working in you, what's pleasing in His sight, and what is pleasing to God is that none should perish, but He desires that all should come their repentance. We need to take the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to people. It is God's will that we give honor, glory, and praise to the Lord. Fellowship with other believers, read the word of God, heed the word of God, consistently talk to Him, expecting Him to give guidance and direction, and to show us where to go, what to say, what to do, and what to accomplish, to bring honor and glory to Him. - Every Saturday at 7.27 p.m., you are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T, 13,000 U.S. 41 North at Boone Building Harmony Road, midway between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport. Every first Saturday, a good news club for those in first through fifth grades is available in a separate area. For more information, call 812-867-2418 or visit www.tripletchristianyouth.org. (upbeat music) (upbeat music) - Today wraps up the week of prayer at Triple T for fair share. Listen to God's word. He brews four, 14 through 16, New King James. Seeing that we have a high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. If we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin, let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace in help in time of need. Promises from God, directly to you and me, if you are a believer in Christ. Our Saturday nights are exciting and tonight is going to be a time of tiger testimonies. It will wrap up the mini camp. It started Thursday, Friday and all day today. And tonight at 727, we'll be hearing from folk who are planning to be involved in fair share out across the area. We have some needs and we'd like for you to pray about these needs. Number one of our needs, goals and hearts desires is people willing to pray daily. Would you be one of those? Number two is for adult youth workers to be trained as key tiger team coaches, willing to mentor and encourage youth trained in peer evangelism through their local churches and in their communities. Will you be one of those? I hope you will. Third is for qualified drivers and chaperones to provide transportation and leadership to and from triple T in tri-state counties. One local church has been here every Saturday for two and a half years in counting. And that little church decided to buy a second van. First van was filled to capacity. Saturday night as kids came and the driver came and his wife acted as the chaperone among those 15 that were on the van. We need other people doing similar things. The pastor of that little church drives one of those vans almost every single Saturday. But others, like you, could provide transportation and could help it happen. We need to continue to pray for many traveling tigers and team missions, team members to be trained and participate. Again, the training is happening here. It'll be happening in Florida very, very soon. And fair share training and involvement encompasses every Saturday at triple T through August 11. By the way, I'm sure you know this, but I'm gonna tell you anyway, we are located just four miles south of Interstate 64, four miles north of Evansville Regional Airport on Highway 41 at Bueville and Harmony Road. And you're invited to come and join us tonight. It's gonna be a really, really neat time together. Project Proclaim is when we pray for commitments by the right people, adults, preteens and teenagers to be available and dependable to go to as many counties as possible between July 9 and August 11. For a great and effective door has opened to me, that is to us and there are many adversaries. That's 1 Corinthians 16-9, looking James. Also, we invite you to pray with us for an additional $30,000 needed before September the 1st to be available week by week, an average of at least $6,000 each week during fair share. Three, four or more vehicles will be traveling hundreds of miles each day. Housing, showers, food, training, will be provided at triple T for 20 to 40 people during fair share and the training before. Please pray for spiritual depth, unity and safety for everyone and pray for fair gores to be receptive to receive cups of cold water in Jesus name, to take the surveys, to be able to listen one-on-one as the gospel is shared and for the 10 to 19-year-olds to receive a free copy of Triple T's special cover for the New King James Bible. Pray for local church pastors and youth workers to be partners in youth evangelism to follow up and disciple individuals who decide to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for the Triple T's staff, full-time, part-time and volunteer, students who will attend these training sessions and pray for a sizzling summer. It was kicked off last Thursday, just a couple of days ago, June the 7th. And today, of course, is a day where we're having a luncheon and it's going to happen at 11.30 here for pastors and youth workers. And if you want to come and join us, you're invited to come for a free lunch today at Triple T. Just come on out and we'll have something special for you. We have so many family and friends that are hurting physically and emotionally and in need of our faithful prayers. And we ask you to be praying for us and let us know how we can pray for you. God has a perfect plan for every one of us and we need to know what His will is and then to do it. That's our whole thrust next week is to know and do the will of God. Listen to 1 John chapter 4. Again, from the New King James Version, beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God. Because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the spirit of God. Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God. And every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard was coming and is now already in this world. You are of God little children and have overcome them because He who is in you is greater than He who is in the world. What a wonderful promise that is. Let me repeat that. What's in you is greater than He who is in the world if you indeed are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. God gives us promise after promise through His Word. He says, "They are of the world, therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. But we are of God. He who knows God hears us. He who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, the life. No one comes to the Father except by me." Let us love one another. For love is of God, and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. This is a love of God that was manifest toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son in the world that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and set His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. If God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us. And His love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us because He has given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and testified that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in Him and He in God. And we have known and believed the love of God that has been given to us from Him. God is love, and He who believes in love abides in God and God in Him. Love has been perfected among us in this, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But He who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us. If someone says I love God and hates His brother, He is a liar. For He who does not love His brother, whom He has seen, how can He love God, whom He has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him that He who loves God must love His brother also. There are some people in our world that are really tough to love. It's a hard fact of life, but there are folk out there that need our love in spite of themselves, and sometimes in spite of ourselves. But it all starts by loving God, and knowing that God so loved you and me, that He gave His only begotten Son. Have you believed on Christ? Have you received the gift of God eternal life? Have you told other people you are a believer? If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved for the heart one believes under righteousness with the mouth confession is made to salvation. We call it God's ABCs. "A" admit you sin. Be believe on Christ. See, confess Him publicly. That's what we're sharing out across the tri-state. In county after county, fair after fair, all summer long. We're giving away free ice water. We hope that you'll come and avail yourself of the opportunity to stop by our tent when we're in your town or the place where you live if you are close to one of our fair share opportunities. Have you received your personal copy of the New King James Bible with the special triple T cover? It's got a picture of the billboard on the front. Billboards say, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, telling the truth to teenagers." And then it's got triple T's triangle and it's got our website www.TTTChristianYouth.org and a picture of kids with Christian flags unfurled and American flag in front marching for God's glory. Well, it happens and it's going to happen in the back. It has a picture of the triple T building. You can either write or call or come by and pick it up. It's for everybody between the 80s of 10 and 19. And if you're older than that, we'll give you one to give to somebody that age after you have checked it out yourself. God's Word is quick and powerful and sharpened in a two-edged sword. And speaking of God's Word, one of the cardinal chapters in the Word of God is 1 John chapter 5. It really lets us in on some of God's very special insights. Listen. Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. And everyone who loves Him, who begot also loves Him, who is begotten of Him. By this we know that we love the children of God when we love God and keep His commandments. This is the love of God, that we keep His commandments and His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith. Who is He who overcomes the world, but He who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is He who came by water and blood. Jesus Christ, not only by water, that is physical birth, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear witness in heaven, the Father, the Word, that is Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. And these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth. The Spirit, the water, and the blood. These three agree as one. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater. For this is the witness of God which He is testified of His Son. He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in Himself. He who does not believe God has made Him a liar because He has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. And this is the testimony that God has given us eternal life. And this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life. He who does not have the Son of God does not have life. Now let me pause for a moment and share with you that if you don't know Jesus, if you're not sure you're headed for heaven, you can be sure. You can receive Him. Here's how. Say, "God, I'm saying I messed up. I'm sorry." And then turn to Jesus. Ask Him to forgive you. Ask Him to give you the gift of God eternal life. And He will. And then He wants you to tell other people that they too need to believe. 1 John 5 goes on. "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God." Now this is the confidence that we have in Him that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. Are you praying that way? Praying in Jesus' name? Praying believing, praying expectantly? I hope you are. I hope you will. Again, we want to give you your copy of the New King James Bible with a special Triple T cover and it's free and it's for you. All you have to do is come by Triple T or write us or call us. And know that when you do, pray and give to God through Triple T, Christ through you can change the world.
