Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. When you pray, do you expect results? Do you know that God is willing and ready to answer? Or are you saying, "I'm not sure, Lord, you are really going to hear me? I'm not sure, Lord, you are really going to do this. I'm not sure." When you leave the question mark there, listen to James 1, 7-8, New King James Version. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord, he is double-minded, unstable in all his ways. Are you stable? Can you trust in the Lord with all of your heart and stop trying to figure it all out for yourself? Are you willing to place your faith in him personally, explicitly? In the Son of God, God the Son, Jesus Christ. Are you willing to serve him to let him speak to you through his Word? Are you willing to abide in him? Are you willing to talk with him and thank him and then ask for what you need? Not for what you want, but for what you need, especially if it affects other people, especially if you are praying for someone who needs to know the Lord. God will give you all kinds of smarts, ways to work in a situation to share God's glorious gospel. Pray, go, and share. Christ through you can change the world.
