"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, for our God is a consuming fire." Hebrews 1229, New King James Version. Seven words. Seven words that let us know who God really is. How great he is. How powerful he is. God, with all of this, loves you. He loves me. He loves the whole world, person by person, individually and collectively. And because God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He wants you and me to understand that, to abide by that, to admit that we have sinned, to turn to Jesus from our sins, to believe with all of our hearts that he is who he says he is, and then to confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus. That means to tell people who Jesus is and how they too can become his children. Will you pray? Will you read God's Word? Will you fellowship with other believers? And will you then tell the truth? Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father, except by me. You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free." Christ through you can change the world.
