[music] You're listening to "Telling the Truth" from Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries, "Telling the Truth to and Through Teenagers." Here is Triple T. Founder and President George Dooms. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ." In a moment of haste, he saw, sold his birthright. Listen to Hebrews 1217, New King James Version. For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected. For he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears. You can't sin and win. You can't turn your back on God. You can't neglect to do what's right. You can't do what's wrong and come out the winner. God wants every one of us to understand that there are consequences because of our actions. What we need to do is think first, pray diligently, and then act. Acting swiftly before thinking can be devastating. God wants you and me to respond to His love, to read His Word, to pray consistently, and then to have fellowship with others with whom we can pray. Together we can pray for those who do not yet know Jesus Christ personally, and we can respond to their need by sharing God's good, wonderful, great news with them. That becomes our opportunity. Yours and mine. What will you do about it? Is there somebody that you will tell the truth too quickly and let them know? God loves them. Jesus died for them and goes again. Moses met God on the mountain, but that's not our lot in life. Listen to Hebrews 12, 18, New King James. For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and then burned with fire and the blackness and darkness in tempest. Sometimes we feel sorry for ourselves and we think, "Oh, we've got it so rough." But suffice it to say that God loves you and He cares about you and He doesn't force you to pursue circumstances beyond that that you can handle. God loves you. Christ died for you. He wants you to respond to His love by turning to Him from your sins, by believing and then sharing by telling others that you believe that Jesus Christ was indeed raised from the dead. Are you a believer? If you are, are you telling others how they too can believe? There are people out there waiting for you to share God's good news with them. First pray for God's guidance and direction, then read His word. Pray with other believers and determine how to be made usable and then used of God and by God to reach people for God. I hope you will, you can. Somebody is waiting. Will you go? Will you do it now? Will you pray and then share? Are you an awe of God? I hope you are. Understand that He loves you. He cares about you and He has a plan for your life. Listen to Hebrews 1219, New King James Version, "The sound of a trumpet in the voice of words so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore." God is so powerful. His words cut through anything and anyone. Even the joints and marrow of the bones will be separated by the word of God. Are you really an awe of who God is and what His word says? Are you responding to His magnificent message directly to you from the Bible? All Scripture is given by inspiration and it becomes our prerogative. It becomes our marvelous privilege to read the word of God, to pray, to ask God to show us His will through His word for us and for others through us. Pray. Have fellowship with other believers. Then go with the gospel and watch God make you usable and use you. Tell people Christ died for our sins. He was buried and He rose again on the third day. And by turning to Him from sin, eternal life is available now. For they could not endure what was commanded. And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned or thrust through with an arrow. Hebrews 1220, New King James Version. Yes, God is willing to let us know what could happen if we are not in tune with Him. So obey God's commands. Listen to the word of God and respect it and respond to His message directly to you. Will you pray right now for the Lord to show you what you should know from His word? Then will you read the word of God today and share what you have learned with another believer? And then will you take that message of redemption and salvation to people who need to know the Lord? Somebody is waiting for you to be the truthteller, the Christian communicator, to do the work of an evangelist, to take God's good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins, that He was buried, that He rose again, and that He will give life that lasts forever to people who will turn to Him from their sins. Tell someone today, if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. That's God's message. Share it. God's encounter with Moses on the mountain was unprecedented. Hebrews 1221, New King James, it says, "And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, 'I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.' Have you ever been in a situation where you understood how powerful, how Almighty God really is? Have you quaked in your boots at Him knowing how great God really is? He wants you to let Him speak to you through the word of God. He wants you to talk with Him personally, privately. He wants you to have prayer time with other believers. He wants you to take His marvelous message of salvation to a lost world to people that you know who don't know Him. The song 'How Great Thou Art' really is a wonderful entree into what we need to understand about this God of ours. He loves you. God loves you. God loves the people that you know that you care about so deeply. And God wants you to fellowship with Him. Somebody is waiting. They're waiting for you. Will you tell them the truth? Will you tell them today? Will you prayerfully and deliberately go with the good news? Where are you in your personal walk with the Lord? Can you identify with Hebrews 1222, New King James Version? But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels. That's Hebrews 1222, New King James. That's how big God is, so huge, so vast, and yet so personal. God sent His Son so that you and I, by turning to Him from our sins, could have everlasting life. Jesus was born of a virgin. He lived perfectly. He was tempted, but never yielded, and then He died. He died for our sins, yours and mine, according to the Scriptures. He was buried, and He rose again on the third day, and now He intercedes for you and for me at the right hand of God the Father when we take our petitions to Him. Pray for somebody who has a need, somebody for whom you are concerned. Talk to God about Him or her. Read the Word of God, claim the promises, and take the gospel to those who need to know Him. Who do you know, who needs Jesus? Tell them. You are invited to identify with the Creator of the universe. Listen to Hebrews 1223, New King James. To the General Assembly and Church of the First Born, who are registered in Heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect. Have you heard the song, "This World Is Not My Home? I'm Just Passing Through?" God wants you to know that if you have believed in the Lord Jesus, you are a citizen of Heaven. Everything here will pass away. All things will become brand new. There will be a day coming in your future when you will be with God if you have trusted Him as your personal Savior. Have you? If you have, please share that message of redemption and salvation with others. Help them to know that all they have to do is to turn in repentance from their sin to the risen Jesus Christ, who died for their sins, your sins, and my sins too. And then stand up and be counted for Him, identified with Him. That's a message that is so fantastic. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, believe and help others believe. Every Saturday at 7.27 p.m., you are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T, 13,000 US-41 North at Boone Building Harmony Road, midway between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport. Every first Saturday, a good news club for those in first through fifth grades is available in a separate area. For more information, call 812-867-2418 or visit www.tripletchristianyouth.org. Have you ever tried to count the sand? I remember as a very young teenager for the very first time in my life, standing on the shore of the Great Lake Michigan in Chicago. I couldn't believe so much sand. It was everywhere. And then later, I had the opportunity of going to Panama City, Florida to light sands there immense mile after mile after mile of sand grains, thousands, millions, billions of grains of sand. And then I had the privilege of standing on the shore of Oregon, waiting out into the Pacific and watching the waves come back in and change the sands. I remember many, many times being in Florida, being on the Atlantic seaboard, and watching sand way too much time in the sands of Florida, but always fascinated by the ways the sands would shift as the waves came in. Count the sand impossible. But God had something to say about sand. Listen to Genesis 16, 1 through 6, New King James Version. After these things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, "Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield. You are exceedingly great reward." But Abram said, "Lord God, what will you give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus." Then Abram said, "Look, you have given me no offspring. Indeed, no one born in my house is my heir." And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, "This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir." Then he brought him outside and said, "Look now toward heaven, and count the stars." If you were able to number them, and he said to him, "So shall your descendants be." And he believed in the Lord, and he accounted it to him for righteousness. Count the stars? Have you ever seen a Hubble telescope photo? Hubble caught the glimpse of many hundreds of thousands of stars moving about the globular cluster M-13, one of the brightest and best known globular clusters in the northern sky. Near the core of this cluster, the density of stars is about a hundred times greater than the density in the neighborhood of our sun. These stars are so crowded that they can, at times, slam into each other and even form a new star. M-13 is one of nearly 150 known globular clusters surrounding our Milky Way galaxy. Vastness! Listen to what he said now. "Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them." And he said, "God's speaking to Abram, so shall your descendants be." And Abram believed in the Lord, and God accounted it to him for righteousness. Then listened to Genesis 17, one through five. When Abram was 99 years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, "I am Almighty God, walk before me and be blameless. And I will make my covenant between me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly." Then Abram fell in his face, and God talked with him, saying, "As for me, behold my covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations." No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations. Do the math. God cares as much about us as he did Abraham. He has a unique plan for each person, for you and for me. So we need to trust him in everything. Listen to Psalm 139, 17, and 18 New King James Version. How precious also are your thoughts to me, O God. How great is the sum of them. If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand. When I awake, I am with you. Count the sand, count the stars, count your blessings, name them one by one. And I remember the paraphrase of that song as a very effective song leader said, "Not one by one, ton by ton." You can multiply your ministry. Listen to 2 Corinthians 9, 10 through 11, New King James. Now may he who supplies seed to the sower, and read for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness, while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. My mother's favorite scripture verse, "The last words I ever heard her speak before she asked James and me to go to Florida, to fly down there and to drive her car back." She said she needed her car, she needed a television set. And I'm sure that she knew that she didn't need them at all, but we would. And these are the last words I heard her say, "Over and over," she said, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not in your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not in your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." And another time, in that same setting, my last moments with my mother, she quoted Proverbs 3, 5, and 6 again, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not in your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." James and I were on our way back, driving my mother's vehicle, and as we got near Atlanta, I called home before cell phones, of course, existed. And I was told that she was now in heaven. And so as a result of that, we were able to drive on very, very sadly, but serenely. James and I got back to our home here at Triple T, and we were able to have that car so that Tammy could drive it to school, her first year commuting to Oakland City College, now university. And then that car became James's car, as he went to Kansas City Youth for Christ, Christ and Liberty Bible Institute, as he was there for a full year in the school, and then for six months, worked in television and learned a whole lot about how things happened and was able to utilize all that knowledge. And those talents had got entrusted to him that he was developing to really reach a lot of people with the gospel. Things changed in circumstances have to be rearranged, and James came back and he was here for a while. And then again, life has its ups and downs and ins and outs and circumstances happen to rearrange things. James was on duty for Triple T, delivering information, bulletin inserts and some promotional materials. He stopped at a Christian school and he met the person who was the receptionist, secretary there, and the rest is history because she is now Yvonne Dooms. And so as a result of doing things, what we're supposed to do, when we're supposed to do it, all of a sudden something happens that changes the rest of our tomorrows. God has a plan for you. He has a definite, a definite way for you to live. On my desk, ever since I graduated from college, has been a little poem that says only one life will soon be passed, only what's done for Christ will last. For me to live is Christ and to die is gain. During the time that I'm still here on planet Earth, God helping me, I'm going to reach as many people as I possibly can, but I can't do it alone. We've got to build a team. We've got to have people that will invest their time, their talent, their treasure. And together we can reach out and do things collectively that we can't do individually. God has done some wonderful things. He's put before us some open doors. And if you'll stay tuned in just a few moments, I'm going to share with you a concept about multiply your ministry and what we're endeavoring to do about it. We're in the throes of moving forward right now. Tonight's going to be surprise night at Triple T. We have a surprise speaker. We have a surprise everything tonight. And it's going to be a delightful series of happenings. If you can come, please do. But if you can't, please pray. And stay tuned as I share with you some very, very special information. Some things that are about to happen, and we want you to be in on the ground floor so that you can pray intelligently and then be as involved as you possibly can. I hope you will. Stay tuned and listen carefully, because what you're about to hear has never been heard before. Triple T is to have open house January 28 through February 4. Multiply your ministry. A 100-week series of evangelistic youth efforts is being launched at Triple T Christian Youth Ministries, the week of January 28. On Saturday, February 5, 1966, Mary and I opened the door to our house that was called Triple T. Now, Triple T Christian Youth Ministries, formerly Tri-State Youth for Christ. Two teenagers attended that first Saturday, and teenagers have gathered every Saturday since without exception. The Triple T Christian Communication Center was constructed in 1978 on the 30-acre campus at the intersection of US 41 and Booneville, New Harmony Road. The mission, Telling the Truth to Through Teenagers, is currently displayed under the message "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ" on five billboards between Evansville and Princeton, Indiana along US Highway 41. Telling the Truth is heard twice daily on 34 radio stations in 9 states, and is also available by podcast and on Triple T's website, www.tttchristianyouth.org. During the nearly 46 years of Triple T's ministry, youth from all 50 states and 30 different countries have attended Tiger Team Training at Triple T. Teams and I from Triple T have ministered personally with over 300 local Tri-State churches of nearly every denomination. And listen to this, as God opens doors, Triple T teams travel to communities across the Tri-State between Saturdays. Triple T teams and guests produce Tiger Team Evangelistic Youth efforts using local church facilities, school gyms and auditoriums, city parks and stadiums, street festivals, all during the school year. And every Saturday, caring adults drive buses, cars and vans to transport youth from Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and beyond. Each summer, Traveling Tigers, teens involved going evangelizing regularly with adult coaches take the ministry to Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky County Fairs. 100 students are being invited to be trained the first three weekends in June to take fair share up to 20 Tri-State counties.
