[music] You're listening to "Telling the Truth" from Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries, "Telling the Truth to and Through Teenagers." Here is Triple T. Founder and President George Dumes. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ." Abraham asked God to bless Ishmael, not realizing he was going to have a son to be named Isaac. Listen to Genesis 1720, New King James Version. And as for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall beget twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation. There you have it. The prayer of Abraham was heard by God. And as a result of that, we have conflict in our world that is unprecedented. We know that God will hear and answer our prayers, even though sometimes what we request is not what is really needed. God loves you. God has a perfect plan for your life. Call on the Lord, and He will hear you. And He will show you great and mighty things that you are not even aware of now. You cannot even comprehend. One of the things that you could do is to pray for those people who don't know Christ. You can read God's Word. You can fellowship with other believers. And together, you can go with the gospel to those folk who need to know the Lord. Will you? It's up to you. Behold, now, is accepted. Abraham was, to say the least, concerned, and in all probability, very confused. But God wanted to set the record straight. And so one more time, He came to Abraham, and this is what He said. "But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this set time next year." Then He finished talking with him, and God went up from Abraham. Genesis 17, 21, 22, New King James Version. "Yes, God makes promises, and God keeps every promise He makes. God has promised us that if we will ask, we will receive. If we will seek, we will find. If we knock, it will be opened to us." What are you asking for? What are you seeking? What doors are you knocking on today? God has a plan for you. He has a purpose in your life, and He wants you to ask Him for the things that would be pleasing to Him that would be helpful to other people. Ask Him to give you guidance toward people who know Christ, who could be your prayer partners, to pray for those people who don't know the Lord. Read and heed the Word of God. Share the truth. The Bible has specific places and events that are there for us to observe. Listen to Genesis 18, 1, New King James Version. Then the Lord appeared to Him by the terrible tree of memory, as He was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day. You see, God is God, and yes, He is concerned about the mundane, the day-to-day circumstances, where we are, what we are doing when He speaks to us. He spoke directly to Abraham, and now today He speaks to us through His Word, inspired, infallible, and available. God has a plan. He has something for you to do that nobody else could do exactly the way you could do it if you would do it the way you should do it. So, will you? Will you find prayer partners, praying for those people who need the Lord? Will you read the Word of God together, and then will you go with the gospel? Will you share your faith in Jesus Christ with those who don't know Him, but who could know Him if you would share with them the plan of salvation? Go. God bless you as you do. Pray. Go with God's Word, burning in your heart, with a desire to reach the lost for Jesus. Again, talking about Abraham, listen to Genesis 18, 2, New King James Version. So, he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing by Him. And when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them and bowed himself to the ground. Be careful what you do, and with whom you do it. Again, God has relationships for you to establish, and some that He does not want you to establish. So, be prayerful and be careful as you go about your life today. Make sure that you are in tune with the Lord. Have you prayed today? Have you read the Word of God today? Are you allowing the Lord to direct you and guide you today? Are you involved with a fellowship factor with other believers together concerned about people you and they know who don't know Jesus? You can take God's plan of salvation to someone today. You can reach out to someone who needs to know the Lord. It becomes your opportunity and your responsibility. You don't have to do this, but God gives you the privilege. The question is this. What will you do with Jesus, which is called the Christ? Three men had stopped by Abraham's tent. Listen to Genesis 18, 3, New King James Version, and said, "My Lord, if I have now found favor in your sight, do not pass on by your servant." Abraham was concerned that he was missed, that something was happening and he wanted to be available. Sometimes we need to be very careful about establishing a relationship with unknown people. What about you? Are you fellowshipping with other believers? Are you being tempted to do things that are not pleasing to the Lord by unbelievers? It is your responsibility to share the gospel with unbelievers, but not to get involved with them, not to let their lifestyle rub off on you and change your relationship as a Christian with those who need to know the Lord. Be sure you are fellowshipping with other believers and that together you are doing the right thing at the right time in the right way. Be a faith-sharer, be a Christian communicator, be a truth-teller. You can, if you will, will you? The gospel is quick and powerful and God's word is sharper than a two-edged sword. Use it. Abraham was trying to be hospitable. He was trying to be friendly. So listen to Genesis 18-4, New King James. Please, little little water be brought and wash your feet and rest yourselves under the tree. Sometimes we invite people into our home that we shouldn't. Be careful. Be prayerful. Be friendly, but keep your guard up because Satan is going about seeking whom he made a vower like a roaring lion, and sometimes extremely subtle. I don't know what God wants you to do with the one life he is entrusted to you, but I do know this. God has something special for you to do that no one else could do, but he's not going to force you to do the right thing. He is going to open doors of opportunity for you, and then it is up to you to make the right decision. Pray. Read the word of God. Have fellowship with other believers and determine to go tell the truth to people who need the Lord, and who can't know him unless somebody tells them. The gospel is simple but dynamic. Let that someone who tells them be you today. Three strangers had stopped by Abraham's tent, and he is endeavoring to be friendly. Listen to Genesis 18-5, New King James Version. "And I will bring a parcel of bread that you may refresh your hearts. After that you may pass by, inasmuch as you have come to your servant." And they said, "Do as you have said." It's okay to be friendly, but be careful not to be involved beyond that which would please the Lord. Yes, reach out to people. Yes, let them know that you care about them. Tell them about Jesus, that he lived perfectly, that he died for their sins and yours and mine, that he rose the third day, that the living Lord Jesus is willing to indwell the heart of anyone who will put their faith and trust in him. Are there people who you are concerned about sharing God's Word with today? Are you ready to go with the gospel and have someone praying with you and for you as you go? Then make sure you understand and know God's plan of salvation. Hide it in your heart. Romans 3, 23, Romans 6, 23, John 3, 16, Romans 10, 9, and 10. Do it now. Every Saturday at 7.27 p.m., you are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T, 13,000 US-41 North at Boone Building Harmony Road, midway between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport. Every first Saturday, a good news club for those in first through fifth grades is available in a separate area. For more information, call 812-867-2418 or visit www.tripletchristianyouth.org. Tonight, at 7.27, you can meet a group of BMWs, Bible Missionary Work Students, who have come from across America, first to Florida, and now are at the Triple T. They are participated in the Youth Evangelism Association Youth Workers' Intensive Training, and tonight, they will be sharing at 7.27. We're located 4 miles north of Evansville Regional Airport, 4 miles south of Interstate 64, 13,000 US-41 North at Boone Building Harmony Road. They have received their impact packet, actually it's called the Tiger Team Impact Action Packet, to help them impact their communities for Christ. So come on to Triple T and meet these very special people. The Tiger Team Action Packet includes Blueprint for Impact, a practical plan designed to help you creatively communicate Christianity. It is extremely flexible and therefore adaptable to many situations. It is not an end in itself, but a means to an end. Its development depends on your action. It is as expansive as you desire it to be. Its only limitation is your lack of involvement. Without you, it is worthless. With you, it is potentially as high as your sky, as wide as your world, as deep as your dedication. So you've got to ask yourself three questions. How high is your sky? How wide is your world? How deep is your dedication? Blueprint for Impact is a tried and proven formula for effective evangelism. Every premise of the plan is based on four imperative fundamentals. One, the Bible is the Word of God, meant to be followed consistently. You cannot be an outstanding Christian worker without personally adhering to the concepts of the scriptures, beginning with an individual, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. You must a) admit you've sinned, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3, 23. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life. In Christ Jesus our Lord, Romans 6, 23. B) Believe on Christ. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3, 16. See, confess Christ publicly, that if you confess with your mouthful Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart when believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. Romans 10, 9, and 10. Secondly, prayer is a basic, daily necessity for your development and growth as a Christian. Prayer changes things and people, believing always precedes receiving. 3, obeying God's Word is essential for participating in God's Word. It involves the total person, mental, physical, social, spiritual. 4, communicating Christianity is the number one task of the committed Christian. There is no such thing as commitment without communication. Impact means I must personally advance Christianity today, and then we ask two questions, if not I who, if not now when. Those are the things we need to understand. God wants you and me to move with the Gospel, the need. But even if our Gospel is veiled or hidden, it is veiled or hidden to those that are perishing. In Corinthians 4, 3, the plan go. Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. Mark 16, 15. The result and the word of the Lord was being spread throughout all the region. Acts 13, 49. Seeing the need, following God's plan, we call it God's global go. We reap the results. And that's what we have seen happen for 45 and a half years. Not only across the Tri-State, but across America and around the world. We've been privileged to host people here from every one of the populated continents and from many, many, many countries worldwide. And they have gone from here learning how to share their faith to take the Gospel back from whence they have come. And wonderful things have happened. Blueprint for Impact helps you activate your influence by guiding you to set goals and by helping you to attain them. It is not a magic formula. Without old-fashioned perspiration, it cannot work. It requires three things. One, your talent. Two, your time. Three, your treasure. Blueprint for Impact has three primary objectives. One, to spread the good news of the saving power of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, by using the most effective and efficient means known. Two, to present the Gospel to our contemporaries, inviting them to, A, confess the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, following individual identification with Him and personal acceptance of Him. Climaxing in the spiritual experience the Bible calls being born again. Be, follow Christ completely through total dedication to Him. And thirdly, to provide an opportunity for interaction and involvement by Christians doing God's work. This is accomplished by following an outline that is practical, proven, dynamic, and daily ready to be put into action. It takes people, people willing to commit themselves, to remain usable and used of God, to make a real impact on their community. Four key people need to be trained and involved. A very special person who's an adult who can be a coach. And then a teenage guy, a teenage girl, and another teenager, either guy or girl. The adult individual or adult couple becomes the coach, serving all the Tiger Team Impact teenagers. A mature teenager serves as the Tiger Team Impact Chair. He or she will direct three teams. His or her teams will be prayer, contacts, pure evangelism, and even a fourth one, follow-up. And each team can have its own chair and coordinator and correspondent. Next, an aggressive type teenager, either guy or girl, to serve as Tiger Team Impact Coordinator. Here she will also be a captain of teams. And his or her teams will be advertising, publicity, delegations, and extension. Each of these teams will have its own chair, coordinator, and correspondent. And thirdly, a teenager who can handle details, who is computer literate, to serve as Tiger Team Impact Correspondent. Here she will captain the teams that will be unreached, church family, neighbors, and special groups. And of course, each will also have its own chairman, coordinator, and correspondent. As team captains, all of these three special teenagers should endeavor to select 12 people to work with them. These selected individuals are invited to attend a planning session. And then together, they put together their actual Tiger Team Impact Evangelistic Youth effort. The coach has responsibilities, and these are them. One, to give direction and guidance to the chair, coordinator, and correspondent. Two, urge these three teenagers to quickly enlist 12 additional persons each to form a total Tiger Team Impact of 40 persons, including the coach. Thirdly, be available to each of the three Tiger Team Impact people for personal encouragement and help. And then, fourthly, do be responsible for the ultimate success of the Tiger Team Impact event, through these three individuals, and they in turn, through their teams. Five, to keep each of these aware of their own duties and responsibilities. Six, to alert the three Tiger Team Impact leaders of the pitfalls they may expect to encounter. And seven, to diligently pray with and for each team member on the Tiger Team Impact group. And so there you have it. Opportunities and responsibilities. Are you interested? Come tonight and we'll give you your personal copy of the Tiger Team Impact Action Packet. It's yours if you'll come and ask. Triplety's Distinctives are threefold. Aggressively Evangelistic, Bible-Believing, and Church-Connected. There is a real need to renew every aspect of this ministry that's been here for 45 and a half years in counting. We look back and we see wonderful things that God has done, but we look forward and anticipate even greater things in the days before us. Bible-based Prayer Power, according to the late Ken Anderson, is using relevant Scripture to pray with confidence for all your needs. To renew Triplety's Christian Youth Ministries, moving forward in youth evangelism takes again three things. To encourage, to enlarge, to expand. The Continuing Plan. Saturday Night Youth Evangelism Events, 7.27 p.m. every Saturday since February 1966, including God willing tonight. Tiger Team, teens involved, going, evangelizing regularly. There have been literally thousands of teenagers who have made the commitment to share their faith with their friends and who have become tigers. Some present, some past, and some will soon become a tiger. Lining at conferences, training students in peer evangelism and adults as coaches. The next one will be coming up on October 22nd, God willing. And then Bible clubs, on and off campus, student-directed, organized, assisted by adult coaches. And then comes Project Proclaim. Saturation evangelism, one-on-one sharing, Bible distribution, evangelistic youth efforts, public relations, outreach of Internet, billboards, radio, TV, newspaper. And speaking of the Bibles, there is one available to you. All you have to do is come tonight and get yours, or you can call us. Area Code 812-867-2418. The number again to get your free Bible is Area Code 812-867-2418. We want to put a Bible in your hands. It's the New King James Version. Either come tonight, it'll be given to you personally, or call, and we will send it to you the first of the week. Tiger Team Impact Evangelistic Youth Efforts at or near public high schools, county by county, everywhere God opens doors of opportunity, continue. Traveling Tigers ministry teams, go together to get the gospel to people. And fair share, as you've heard before, we do every summer. This past summer we pitched triple T tents at counties across the tri-state, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky. Ten different county fairs and street festivals. Students giving a free cup of cold water in Jesus' name. Using a survey about teenagers, they present the gospel one on one. This past summer, over 1,500 people came to our tents, received the survey, and 268 said yes to Jesus Christ. Thousands of cups of cold water, hundreds and hundreds of Bibles were presented, and now we're continuing as we move forward. And God willing will be going on in the days ahead to share God's wonderful great news. We've been telling the truth to and through teenagers since 1966, but it takes a team. Many adults assist with special projects and events. We have college students, high school students, middle school junior high task force that helped triple T Saturday nights happen, and the Tiger Team Impact efforts, leading youth training and other activities. Our executive board invite you to be an investor of your time, your talent, your treasure to join them as Tiger Teammates. $20 makes you a Tiger Teammate in current year. $20 a month or more, a Tiger Teammate in larger. And those who give $100 or more a month, Tiger Teammate, expanders. And we are expanding our base of operation, not only out across the tri-state, but beyond. And we hope that you will be prayerfully considering being one of the partners, one of the Tiger Teammates.
