[music] You're listening to "Telling the Truth" from Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries, "Telling the Truth to and Through Teenagers." Here is Triple T. founder and president, George Dooms. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. The first thing we need to know when God hears and answers prayer and gives us perfect guidance and direction is to stop and thank Him. "Pray always," the Bible says, "and in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God and Christ Jesus for you." Listen to Genesis 12-8, New King James Version. Abram was obeying God. And he moved from there to the mountain east of Bethel, and he pitched his tent with Bethel on the west and A.I. on the east. There he built an altar to the Lord and called on the name of the Lord. That's what you should do. That's what I should do. Call on the name of the Lord to give Him honor, praise, and glory for all He has done, all He is doing, all He will do as we get ourselves totally committed and present to Him our bodies a living sacrifice. God wants to make you usable and use you today. He wants you to pray. He wants you to read His Word. He wants you to fellowship with other believers. He wants you to strategize ways to get the gospel to people who need the Lord. When you do that, we have something we would like to send to you. It's a New King James Bible. It has the plan of salvation inside the front cover for you to ship. So Abram journeyed going on still toward the south. Genesis 12-9, New King James. Yes, Abram had stopped. He had prayed, and then he continued his journey. You and I need to stop and pray and then move forward. Don't just sit on the premises, but as the adage says, "Stand on the promises." Because God's promises are fantastic, and He has a plan for you that is utterly amazing. When you and I get in tune with the Lord, He will direct our paths. When He detrust Him totally, completely, absolutely, irrevocably, and when we do that, God will give us ideas, He will give us suggestions, He will give us direct guidance. God wants you to have a compassion for the lost, for people who do not know Jesus Christ. If you do not know Him, if you don't, today can be your day of salvation. Admit you have sent. Believe on Christ. Confess Him publicly. Then fellowship with other believers. Read God's Word. Pray, pray, and pray again. With a Bible we would like to put into your hands. It's the New King James Version, and there's a special cover that has God's ABCs of salvation inside front, and inside back God's top 10, the Ten Commandments. Write for yours. Just because we are following God's leadership, just because we are in fellowship with other believers, just because we are praying, just because we are reading God's Word does not mean that everything will always be hunky-dory. Listen to Genesis 12-10, New King James Version. Now there was a famine in the land, and Abram went down to Egypt to sojourn there, for the famine was severe in the land. Yes, problems will come. Circumstances we can't control will surround us, will sometimes astonish us. But in the middle of it all, God is faithful, and we need to be faithful to Him, following His leadership, His guidance, His direction. The thing that is nearest to God's heart is the salvation of people who are lost. Christ came to save sinners. Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures. He was buried, and He rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures. That's the gospel. Not only do we need to hide it in our hearts, but also we need to share it with people. We have the plan of salvation outlined on the inside flap of a New King James Bible we would get to sin to you, to get yours, simply write to us, and we will send it directly to you, and you can not only follow this plan, but can also share it with other people. But if you haven't met Jesus, follow it for yourself. Even though Abram was following the Lord, he was getting weak need and very, very fearful. Listen to Genesis 12-11, New King James. And it came to pass when he was close to entering Egypt that he said to Sarah his wife, "Indeed I know that you are a woman of beautiful countenance." And that was not just a compliment to his wife. That was a moment of truth where he knew he was going to do something that was not right. He was setting it up so that he would lie, and he would not do what would please the Lord. God was going to protect him in spite of himself, as he does you and me from time to time and moment to moment. But suffice it to say that we need to trust the Lord with all of our hearts, not to lean on our own understanding, but in every way acknowledge him and know, understand, he will direct our paths. God's path is clear in the Word of God. The New King James Version is clear, and I want you to have a copy. It's free. Simply write for yours because it has some helps on the inside flaps. It has some information that will cause you to be able to be helpful and hopefully to share the Gospel. Be sure to write for your copy, and we'll send it out to you right away. If you want to share it with somebody, wonderful. But whatever you do, read the Word of God and then heed it. Abram had just complimented his wife, Sarai, and now he was about to explain to her what his real problem and fear was. Listen to Genesis 12-12, New King James. Therefore it will happen when the Egyptians see you, that they will say, "This is his wife, and they will kill me, but they will let you live." Fear is an awesome thing and an awful thing, but you don't have to fear the Lord other than in the right way. He will protect you, he will guide you, and he will direct you. Abram was afraid that he would be killed because his wife was so beautiful. Living with a beautiful lady is a wonderful thing, a great asset, but to fear because of her beauty is not a good thing. I don't know what your circumstance is, but I do know this. God will love you no matter what you do. If you will do the right thing, he will love you in spite of yourself, but also because of what you do. There are people out there who need the Lord, people you could reach, so fellowship with other believers. Pray, read God's Word, and get your copy of the New King James Bible. We want you to have yours to help you share the plan of salvation with someone soon. Right for yours, we'll send it right away. Abram not only was going to lie, but he wanted Sarah to lie too. Genesis 12-13, New King James Version, presents his predicament and his problem. Please say that you are my sister, that it may be well with me for your sake, that I may live because of you. There you have it. He was going to lie and say that she was his sister, and he wanted her to do the same thing. Why? Because she was beautiful, and he was afraid that people would kill him to take his wife. God does not want you to lose anything or anyone. He wants you to trust him. God wants you and me to know that lying will never ever be the right thing to do. There are always consequences, so know this. God wants you to look into his Word and to listen carefully to what he has to say. In the special New King James Bible that we put in the hands of so many teenagers and young adults, the inside back flap has God's top ten, telling what to do and what not to do. I want you to have your own copy of this Bible, so write for yours and we will get it right out to you. You can share your faith in Christ effectively. The plan of salvation is presented for you. So it was when Abram came into Egypt that the Egyptians saw the woman that she was very beautiful. Genesis 1214, New King James Version. A beautiful lady can be an asset or a liability. In Abram's case, he felt that Sarah was a liability because of her beauty, and he was fearful for his life. Now God wants you and me to know that he is the author of every good and wonderful thing. God is the designer of beauty and he is the creator of everything good. Are you in tune with him? Have you really received Jesus as your personal Savior? Are you excited about the fact that Christ died not only for your sins, but for the sins of everyone that he will move into the life of everyone who will believe on him? That's the gospel. Christ died for our sins. He was buried and he rose again on the third day. We want you to be able to present the plan of salvation effectively, and so we want to send you a New King James Bible with a very special cover, with information that will be helpful for you to personally share your faith with others. Will you write for yours today? I hope you will because we want to put it into your hands. We would like for you to pray with us and for us, and we would like for you to let us know how we can pray directly for you. Every Saturday at 7 27 p.m. you are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T, 13,000 US 41 North at Boone Building Harmony Road, midway between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport. Every first Saturday, a good news club for those in first through fifth grades is available in a separate area. For more information call 812-867-2418 or visit www.tripletchristianyouth.org. The book "Discover Your Destiny" is a Christian classic by Dave Brace. The surprising result is presented in Chapter 7 and at Triple T Christian Youth Ministries. Each Saturday in July will be exposing these truths. I want to share with you from this book, and I want to offer to you at the end of this broadcast to write for your own personal copy of "Discover Your Destiny." Listen. Behold the word of life. In the brief days following his resurrection, Christ met with His disciples on many occasions. He bore now the credentials of Calvary and of the empty tomb. His every word was carefully noted for He became the object of a new and total confidence on the part of His disciples. There were now no questions, no alternate opinions, for Jesus Christ had demonstrated Himself to be the Lord of life, the conqueror of death. The men who now listened to His words were no longer simply fishermen and tax collectors. They were new persons, for they had left themselves behind. Beyond all questions, they knew that Jesus was the Son of God. For all of life, they would never again doubt that the God of history had stepped into their lives to become their personal friend and Savior. In the midst of their ecstasy, there arose the implied but unspoken question. Where do we go from here? As if to answer that question, Jesus spoke to His disciples. "You shall be witnesses unto Me, both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth," Acts 1-8. With wonder, the disciples now received the announcement that they were to be the personal representatives of the Lord of glory to all the world. They were to preach to ever-widening circles of listeners the marvelous story of the death and burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. After presenting them with this commission, Christ made a fond goodbye to those who had shared so much of His life for the preceding three years. And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up and the cloud received Him out of their sight. Acts 1-9. For some moments, they gazed wistfully into heaven. They wondered at the commission that they had received of Christ, humbling, questioning their capability to represent the dearest person and the greatest power they had ever known. As if to answer the implied question, will we ever see them again? There stood two angelic beings nearby who told them. You men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you have seen Him go into heaven. Acts 1-11. That settled it. His absence was temporary. His presence would be permanent. His departure from this world was incidental, but His presence in their lives was absolute. They turned now to the task before them. How might it be possible to reach the millions on earth with the message of the Gospel of Christ? They knew by experience the limitations of their abilities and the littleness of their powers. There was therefore one remaining concern that had to be settled. What did Christ mean when He said, "But you shall receive power." After the Holy Ghost is come upon you, was there an ability available to them greater than their weaknesses? Would it be possible for them to have might beyond their known impotence and a voice greater than their voice? Fifty days later, they received the answer to that question. There appeared unto them cloven tongues like as a fire, and it sat upon each of them, and they were filled with the Holy Ghost. Acts 2, 3 and 4. From that moment on, the old reluctance and fear were gone forever. Peter, the coward of the temple courtyard, became the voice of authority in the early church. The other of the eleven disciples became commanding personalities for God in their world. One would hardly recognize these stalwart champions of the cross as the craven men who once forsook the Lord Jesus and fled away into the darkness. The first day they presented the marvelous story of the Gospel, there were three thousand who gladly received His Word and stepped out of the darkness of sin into the light and life of salvation. That then becomes our opportunity today, as believers on Christ, as those folk who believe the Bible is totally true. We can discover our destiny. We can know that we have a responsibility to present the Gospel to every person possible. That's why Christian Youth Ministries, with the surname TTT, is moving out in every possible means and manner and media with the Gospel. That's why we are now heard on 33 stations every single day via radio. That's why it's been our privilege for two Sundays to have television cameras blazing away and for cable stations to carry the message that we have presented and provided. And that's why another door of opportunity is out there looming before us to go that direction. That's why we just ordered 15 more billboards with the message "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ." Letting people know that the message of Jesus Christ is available to and through teenagers because we're telling the truth. It has our website www.tttchristianyouth.org. Not only did we order the 50 billboards, and they will go up as spaces available as a gift from the Outdoor Advertising Company. But we also have just ordered 150,000 plus copies in little business card size of that billboard with God's ABCs on the inside and with the information about how to contact us at Triple T on the back side. And we'll be giving these out at County Fairs all summer long. For four weeks we'll be going to Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky Fairs and Street Festivals. Teams of teenagers who believe the gospel, who are willing to go out and be counted, who are willing to stand up before the people, even their own peers, and take the gospel out there are going with God's good news. We'll be sharing the gospel one-on-one. We'll be giving those gospel tracks, those bits of information with the plan of salvation and the billboard on the outside to thousands of people during fair share this summer, beginning on July the 9th and going all the way through God willing August the 6th. Four weeks of outreach, averaging three fairs or street festivals every single week. And God is sending people around, and we are praying for labors in His harvest field because as we have a team going, we can go to not one fair, not two fairs, but three fairs simultaneously week after week after week for those three weeks of July 9 through August 6th. We need you to pray with us and for us. And again, we would like to make sure that you can have a copy of the book Discover Your Destiny by Dave Breeze. It's free. All you have to do is write to me, George Dumes, TTT Christian Youth Ministries, 13,000, that's 1-3-0-0-0 US Highway 41 North, Evansville, Indiana, 4-7-7-2-5. We want to put this in your hands. We want you to know that we're here to help you. We also would like to send you the brand new "Telling the Truth" Summer Issue. It contains good reports about Hosanna Highway, the missionaries to America from Asia. It gives information about fair share, county fairs and street festivals. It gives you an invitation to come to the Youth of Vangelism Association Convention and Youth Workers' Intensive Training, September 20, 2021 and 22. We want you to be an encourager. You can give $20 and become one and you can provide a scholarship, a leading new scholarship for a 10- to 19-year-old to be trained in peer evangelism. You can be an enlarger by investing $20- to $25 or more monthly and you can help us present a whole package to local churches, pastors, youth workers so that they can go. And you can help us expand beyond these few counties where we are now and to go through the entire Tri-Stake to all 93 counties within 100 miles of where we are. We need your help, we need your support. So please contact us and let us send you the copy of "Discover Your Destiny" so you can have your very, very own. Again, the address will be at the end of the broadcast, so stay tuned. Don't miss what's about to come your way. Exciting information. Encourage. Acts 11 refers to Barnabas known as the encourager. When he came and had seen the grace of God, he was glad and encouraged them all that with purpose of heart, they should continue with the Lord. Acts 11, 23, New King James. Every person providing a $20 leading youth scholarship is a Tiger teammate encourager. Youth 10 to 19 are trained in peer evangelism and challenged to go with the gospel. Each Tiger, teens involved going evangelizing regularly can help implement Triple T's vision. Every youth to have the opportunity to hear the gospel with an invitation to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ before turning 20. The book of Deuteronomy tells the story of Joshua. But command Joshua and encourage him and strengthen him, for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which you will see. Deuteronomy 3.28. When I saw the for sale signed by the mailbox on what is now Triple T Christian Youth Ministries, I went immediately to Old Bethel at Camp Reveal and claimed the property for the Lord for his glory. As I walked around the planter where I had prayed with Dr. Ernest I. Papi Reveal nearly ten years earlier, I read Joshua 1-7-8-9, allowed, as I prayed, in late 1965. Joshua is one of my biblical heroes, and this is the inspired message of Joshua 1-7-9. Only be strong and very courageous that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then, you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage. Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you, wherever you go. Placing the point of the compass at U.S. 41 North in Boone and Harmony Road, encircling the 100-mile radius from Terahote North and the Tennessee Kentucky border south, New Albany, Indiana east, and Sparta, Illinois west within the sphere are 93 Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky counties. We have taken triple T teams to 51 counties since 1966, and folk from most of the 93 counties have been at triple T events during the 45-year span of ministry so far. In Joshua 13, the Lord said, "There remains very much land yet to be possessed." This is true for triple T today. We need to go to the remaining 42 counties and return to all the others soon. Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your habitations. Do not spare. Lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes, for you shall expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations and make the desolate cities inhabited. Isaiah 54, 2 and 3, New King James. As we try to find encouragers, enlargers, and expanders, the ministry will go full speed forward to reach as many people as possible in the shortest possible time. God willing this summer as we take fair share out to county after county with teams of teenagers and preteens, sharing the gospel, giving a cup of cold water in Jesus' name, we're going to watch God work wonderfully. Hearts will be changed. Lives rearranged when God meets the need of people. Pray with us and for us, and be an encourager. Send a gift of at least $20 so that we can train one more 10 to 19-year-old in pure evangelism. Become a tiger team enlarger. A teammate that gives at least $20 to $25 a month will help us be able to work with local church pastors and youth leaders and teenagers and adults who will be praying with us and for us as we partner together. We're looking for more people who are willing to be partners, partnering in youth evangelism with Triple T. We have found several out across the tri-state. We've been privileged to go out there and administer together and now God is opening some other doors, hopefully new doors as we go during July and the first week of August. So pray with us and for us. And again, if you will write to me, George Dooms, you will get a copy when you ask for it of Discover Your Destiny, and guess what? If you would like to have a copy of the New King James Bible with a special cover, we'll include that too. If you're right to us, let us know that you want this and if you want to send something, at least $20, to be a tiger team main encourager, do it. This address is the one that will reach us. TTT 13,000 U.S. Highway 41 North, Evansville, Indiana, 477-25. We'd like to hear from you. Check the web tttchristinuth.org. As you pray and as you give, Christ through you can change the world.
