Telling The TRUTH
031911 Telling The Truth 28 Minute Program
[music] You're listening to "Telling the Truth" from Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries, "Telling the Truth to and Through Teenagers." Here is Triple T. founder and president, George Dooms. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible is totally true, and God is no respecter of persons. Two of the saddest verses in all of the Bible are Genesis 6, 5, and 6 New King James. Listen, "Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and he was grieved in his heart. God was grieved. God was displeased. God was sorry. Sorry that he made man and that man messed up, and now he was about to do something about it. Look at Genesis 6 and read it all through at your earliest convenience. Find out that God is love, but God is sovereign. And understand that today Jesus has paid the price for sin. The penalty has been taken care of, but we have to receive the gift of God. Eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. By admitting that we have sinned, we have fallen short of his expectations. Trust the Lord personally. Believe on Christ and then tell the world so that they too can believe. Will you do that today? There's somebody waiting for this good news. Tell them. Man's sin and God was sorry. God was about to tell us what he's going to do, but then there is a light. Listen to Genesis 6 verses 7 and 8, New King James. So the Lord said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing, and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them." But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. It had not been for that grace that Noah found that he was willing and ready to do what God wanted him to do to be obedient to God. To take leap after leap of faith under God's direction and guidance, he persevered, and because he did, we are here today. I am so glad that Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Have you found grace? God's grace? Amazing grace? Wonderful grace? If you have, what are you doing about it? Are you fellowshipping with other believers? Are you praying? Are you reading God's Word? Are you sharing God's wonderful truths of the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus? Do it today. When you respond to God's amazing grace, things can happen. You can do like Noah. You can walk with God. Listen to Genesis 6, 9, and 10, New King James Version. This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God. And Noah be God three sons, Shem, Ham, and Jaypeth. What a wonderful beginning of a fantastic story that's going to unfold right before our eyes. God was unhappy that he had made man. It was about to do something to devastate person after person, but one man, Noah, found grace in the eyes of the Lord. And Noah walked with God. Are you walking with God? Are you fellowshipping with Him? Are you reading His Word? Are you praying? Are you spending time with other believers in the Lord Jesus? And together, are you reaching out to those people who desperately need to know that God loves them and that Jesus died for them? But He didn't stay dead, but He was buried and rose again on the third day? Will you tell that story? That fantastic story, that wonderful story, that life-changing story to someone today? Please do. Corruption that surrounds us today is nothing new. God is just as displeased with what He sees today as He was a long time ago. Listen to Genesis 6, 11, and 12, New King James. The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth. Corruption, but God is still a loving God, a caring God, a compassionate God, a forgiving God, and a giving God. The gift of God has eternal life through Christ Jesus, our Lord. God sent His Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. Are you saved? Are you obedient? Are you telling other people how they too can trust in the Lord? How He or she can become a child of God? Are you reading God's Word every single day, and are you praying diligently, moment by moment? Are you in fellowship and communication with other believers in Christ? And are you reaching out to those people who need the Lord, who need to be told that Jesus cares and Jesus saves? Do it today. Noah was about to be privileged to intimate information. It was a closed-door meeting between God and Noah. And God said to Noah, "The end of all flesh has come before Me. For the earth is filled with violence through them, and behold I will destroy them with the earth." Genesis 6, 13, New King James. Noah and Noah knew what was about to happen, and Noah and Noah had found grace in the eyes of the Lord. And no one but Noah walked with God. And because of that relationship, everything was going to be totally different. God was going to make Noah usable and use Him because of His obedience and His love for the Lord. God will make you usable, and He will use you today if you will present your body a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, the most reasonable thing in the whole wide world you could possibly do. Pray, read God's word, and then say, "Lord, here am I, send Me. And watch Him put you in contact with other believers so that together you can pray diligently and work out the strategies to take the gospel to people who can be saved." Will you do that today? There's somebody waiting for you. Tell the truth. You are about to get in on that closed-door meeting between God and Noah. You are about to find out what God would reveal to Noah in that secret circumstance. Listen to Genesis 6, 14 and 15 New King James Version. Make yourself an ark of gopher wood, make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch. And this is how you shall make it. The length of the ark shall be 300 cubits, and the width 50 cubits, and its height 30 cubits, dimensions, directions, details from God to Noah, and Noah listened. We'll find out more as we see how God took this one man, made him usable, allowed him to be his servant, to be the Savior of mankind in a very special way. It really happened. There was a real Noah and a real encounter with God. The instructions were given, and we are here as a result. What are you doing today with the one life God has entrusted to you? Are you walking with the Lord? Are you talking with Him? Are you sharing your faith with others? Please do. If you will, things will happen. God is telling Noah what to do and how to do it. Listen to Genesis 616, New King James. You shall make a window for the ark, and you shall finish it to a cubit from above, and set the door of the ark in its side. You shall make it with lower, second, and third decks. Instructions? Details? For God had a plan, and he looked for a man to put that plan into effect. The man was Noah. The plan was to save a family and for that family to replenish the earth with people because all of the other people would be destroyed. God is no respecter of persons. I said that before. I'll repeat it again. God does not in any way want people to disobey Him. And so today, are you in tune with the Lord? Are you really basking in the beauty of His presence? Are you letting Him speak to you through the Word of God? Are you praying? Are you telling other people? Are you fellowshipping with believers? And together, are you strategizing ways to reach the lost for Christ? You can, if you will. The gospel needs to be shared. Will you be the one to tell someone today? Every Saturday at 727 p.m. You are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T, 13,000 U.S. 41 north at Booneville near Harmony Road, midway between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport. Every first Saturday, a good news club for those in first through fifth grades is available in a separate area. For more information call 812-867-2418 or visit www.tripletchristianyouth.org. Why did Jesus really die? The answer would be dramatically presented at Triple T each evening of O'Zannah Highway. That will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday, April 14, 15, and 16, 727 each evening at Triple T. Dramatic, visual, creative Christian communication featuring Triple T team with Cowboy Lee Himoke and some of the world's greatest teenagers and preteens. Why did Jesus really die? For I delivered to you, first of all, that which I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15, 3 and 4. Cowboy Lee Himoke will be featured at all three presentations of O'Zannah Highway at Triple T. The Himoke's, Lee and his wife Darlene with Triple T team, will be going across the tri-state, April 1-13, hosted by local church partners in youth evangelism with Triple T Christian youth ministries. The Gospel is the death, the burial, and the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. That's why Jesus really died. He died for you, so you could live forever. That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. But with the heart one believes under righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made to salvation. We're excited about O'Zannah Highway, and you're invited to be the best Tiger teammate you can be with some of the world's greatest teens involved, going, evangelizing regularly. Pray much. Choose the date that works best for you. Bring your whole family and invite your friends who need the Lord. Let's expect the miracle of the new birth to happen again. And by the way, Chiz writer, Outstanding Trumpeter, will be special guest at O'Zannah Highway, Saturday, April 16 only. So it's going to be an exciting time, and you are invited. Would you like to put together a Tiger team impact where you live? We're asking the Lord to give us people who can catch the vision. The vision is very, very all encompassing, but such a need. Here's the vision that every youth will have the opportunity to hear the gospel with an invitation to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ before he or she turns 20. And here's the plan. We call it Project Proclaim. Partners in youth evangelism at least three local Bible believing churches in each community begin praying for the students connected to a public high school, including junior high or middle schools which feed into that high school and Christian school and homeschool students in the vicinity. Praying diligently, they pursue the possibility of a Tiger team impact youth evangelism event at or near the local high school. Beginning at least six weeks in advance, they preview the Project Proclaim concept and follow through week by week to present Project Proclaim to more and more people. They determine who, what, when, where, why and how the Tiger team impact can happen. They begin to plan the event. They prepare thoroughly by recruiting and training students, fifth grade through high school, and each local church partner in youth evangelism and one or more adults from each church to serve as coaches. Using the saturation evangelism technique with triple T's public relations outreach, utilizing one-on-one sharing, including distribution of packets with a new King James Version Bible, information and invitations, direct mail, e-mail, internet, billboards, radio, television, newspapers, and public relations opportunities. Publishing the gospel to promote the event. Students from each partner church can be trained in pure evangelism at triple T. All who complete the training will be challenged to be Tigers, teams involved, going, evangelizing regularly. They'll be encouraged to pray daily for their target teams and invite each one to the forthcoming Tiger team impact event. They will also try to recruit other Christian students to be trained in pure evangelism. These students will become part of the Tiger team impact, and they will reach out to as many unreached students as they can. They will help provide the people and tools necessary for a successful outreach. They will help produce the actual event, the seventh week, and will serve as peer evangelists to pray with those who respond to the invitation. The week following the event, Tiger team participants will help follow up those who make decisions for Christ. They will work closely with triple T's staff and persist together, building toward the next outreach. And of course, one of those outreaches is the three-day, Hosanna Highway Happening. April 14, 15, and 16, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, here at Triple T. We are delighted at what God has done and is doing, and He's opening doors in County after County that will be going to the Lord willing, April 1 through 13, with Lee Homokey and the Triple T team. We'll be going to Illinois and Indiana and maybe even to Kentucky. Pray much, and if you're interested in hosting one of these or knowing more about it, please contact us because we would like very, very much to work diligently and hand-in-hand with you and the people in your community to reach the teenagers in your town and even pre-teens those 10, 11, and 12-year-olds who really need the Lord. We're excited because of what God has done and is doing, and we want to partner with you. We want to invite you to be a personal partner with Triple T, a Tiger teammate when you invest your time, your talent, and your treasure. Will you prayerfully consider this? I really hope you will because if you will be involved, we can reach far more people than if you decide, "Oh, that's too much for me." We need you on the team. The team is made up of committed Christians who will pray and give and go with the gospel, inviting friends to these Tiger team impact evangelistic youth efforts. Again, it's happening in place after place, April 1 through 13, and in April 14, 15, and 16, right here at Triple T. We continue every single Saturday, and on the third Saturday of each month, we have a Tiger team 3G Challenge Day, and one of those is happening today. We have students and some adults that are gathering together to learn how to reach people for Christ. It means your prayers and your support because we want to work together with you to help some things happen. Do you have some friends that you can connect with, that you can invite to come to the Tiger team impact event, maybe in your town or your community, and certainly at Triple T for Hosanna Highway, April 14, 15, 16, Thursday, Friday, Saturday? Did you know that one determined person can make a significant difference, but a small group of determined people can literally change the course of the history of their town. The history of free men is never really written by chance, but by choice, their choice. There's a time when we must firmly choose the course that we will follow, or the relentless drift of events will make the decision for us. Go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in and my house may be filled, Luke 14, 23 says. Gather the people together, the men and women and children, and the stranger who is within your gates, that they may hear, that they may learn to fear the Lord your God and carefully observe all the words of this law, Deuteronomy 31, 12. Make a connection. Use what you have. Reach out and invite people to hear about Jesus Christ. To learn the answer to the question, first hand, why did Jesus really die? We'll be presenting it again dramatically and hopefully very effectively at Hosanna Highway and the pre-events, April 1 through 13. Write for the details and we'll let you know where we're going to be when and maybe it'll be right in your town. So make your connection, make your contact, pray diligently and become a Tiger teammate investing time, talent and treasure. [Music] What we formerly called Teen Talent, we now call Creative Christian Communicators. This encompasses all kinds of possible participation by teenagers and even pre-teens, 10, 11 and 12, to discover and develop ways to personally serve the Lord. Will you please pray for these terrifically talented young men and women? They're working together with Triple T staff toward Hosanna Highway and interactive answer to the question, why did Jesus Christ really die? It'll be dramatically telling the story of Jesus between Palm Sunday and Easter, the last week that he was on planet Earth before the death, burial and resurrection. Every Saturday, plans and preparations are progressing toward Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 14, 15 and 16 when Hosanna Highway is to be presented at Triple T. Together, youth and youth workers from your church can partner with youth evangelism efforts and Triple T Christian youth ministries and other Bible believing churches in your community. Your youth can be trained in peer evangelism and adult youth workers as coaches toward a Tiger Team impact evangelistic youth effort in your area. Cowboy Lee Homoke is coming back to the trash state, April 1 through 17. Lee and the Triple T team will be available on several evenings between April 1 and 13. We're excited about what he's going to be able to accomplish when Lee and his wife Darlene are back with us. Lee Homoke grew up on a Navajo Indian reservation in Arizona. His father, known as Nevada Steve, was an expert with ropes and whips and a trick writer appearing in many movies with Tom Micks and other cowboy western stars. His father came to Christ and became a missionary to the Navajos. He taught his son, Lee, the art of roping and using whips. Lee uses his skills to share the gospel graphically and effectively. He'll be featured in numbers of places between April 1 and 13 and here at Triple T for Hosanna Highway. It's exciting to know that we're doing a dramatic presentation of Jesus, triumphant entry into Jerusalem, the trial following his betrayal, the scorching, carrying the cross to Calvary, his death, burial and resurrection. It involves a cast of preteens, teenagers and adults. We want you to be praying lots because God's doing things, but we need your prayer support to make it all transpire. Will you please pray for these endeavors to reach as many people as possible with God's glorious gospel? Triple T's executive board invites you to become personally involved, to invest your time, your talent, your treasure, to join them as Tiger teammates. Tiger means teens involved, going, evangelizing regularly. And these terrific kids need our support and our prayers and our financial help to make all of this happen. These kids give, but they don't have the wherewithal to do all the things that we're trying to do. Do you know that every $10 that you give lets us give the gospel, including a Bible to another person between the ages of 10 and 19? Our goal is to get thousands of them out, to reach thousands of people with God's glorious gospel, and you can help it happen by becoming a Tiger teammate. Here's what you do. You pray. And then you determine to send something to Triple T. And you determine how many you want to reach at $10 each. The first $20 you give in any given year provides a scholarship for another person to come to a Tiger Team 3G Challenge Day like we're having today. And then we have people that are investing in multiple teens. We have some that give $20 a month and some 50 and some 100, and a few that give 200. But the amount is not important. What's important is for you to do what you can to help us reach the most possible people we can with the gospel. Every $10 helps it happen. $20 makes you a Tiger Team-made officially. So will you contact us? You can call us area code 812-867-2418. That's 867-2418. You can check the web. It's TTTChristianYouth.org. We're looking forward to hearing from you.
