Genesis 5, 19, and 20 New King James. Jared was Adam's great, great, great grandson. As we think about what God did in creating Adam and then Eve, and giving us all of mankind, it's exciting to see what God can do again. What He began to do perfectly. Then man, given a choice, turned against God. He listened to the devil and gave in to sin. You and I have that same opportunity every single day to follow the Lord to do what He would be pleased for us to do or to turn our backs on Him. Are you following Jesus? Are you living for Him? Are you reading God's Word? Are you listening to other believers in Christ? Are you fellowshipping and praying diligently together for those people who need the Lord? This is our great lot in life. What will you do with Jesus, which is called the Christ? Will you tell people how they can know Him personally? To admit they've sinned, to believe in the Lord Jesus? To confess Him publicly?
