[music] You're listening to "Telling the Truth" from Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries, "Telling the Truth to and Through Teenagers." Here is Triple T. founder and president, George Dooms. Believe when the Lord Jesus Christ. After He begot Enoch, Jared lived 800 years and begot sons and daughters. So all the days of Jared were 962 years and he died. Genesis 5, 19 and 20 New King James. Jared was Adam's great, great, great grandson. As we think about what God did in creating Adam and then Eve, and giving us all of mankind, it's exciting to see what God can do again. What He began to do perfectly. Then man, given a choice, turned against God. He listened to the devil and gave in to sin. You and I have that same opportunity every single day to follow the Lord to do what He would be pleased for us to do or to turn our backs on Him. Are you following Jesus? Are you living for Him? Are you reading God's Word? Are you listening to other believers in Christ? Are you fellowshipping and praying diligently together for those people who need the Lord? This is our great lot in life. What will you do with Jesus, which is called the Christ? Will you tell people how they can know Him personally? To admit they sinned to believe in the Lord Jesus? To confess Him publicly? There are people out there waiting for you to tell them. Adam's lineage continues. Listen to Genesis 5, 21 through 24, New King James. Enoch lived 65 years and begot Methuselah. After he begot Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years and begot sons and daughters. So all the days of Enoch were 365 years and Enoch walked with God and He was not for God took Him. What a way to go. God took Him. That only happened a couple of times in all the annals of history, in all the scriptures that God has revealed. But it happened to Enoch, a very special person, and Enoch walked with God. Are you walking with God? Are you really in fellowship with Him as an individual? And are you in fellowship with other believers? Are you looking into the Word of God? Are you reading God's Word together or separately? And then are you praying diligently, especially for those people who need to know the Lord and how they too could walk with Him? That becomes a wonderful privilege to tell people about Jesus. Will you do that today? I hope there are people you are praying for that you are going to reach out to with God's glorious gospel, even today. Will you? Methuselah lived 187 years and begot Lamech. After he begot Lamech, Methuselah lived 782 years and begot sons and daughters. So all the days of Methuselah were 969 years and he died. Genesis 5, 25-27 to King James. Have you ever heard the expression, "He is as old as Methuselah"? Well, Methuselah was the oldest person whose number of years was recorded in the Bible. Not a lot is said about Methuselah, but we know that he was used of God to do some very special things, to have some sons and daughters, and some of those were very special. More about him in the days ahead. But for now, suffice it to say that God has ordained special people during special moments to do special feats of accomplishment for His glory. I hope that you want to do something significant for the Lord. I hope that you are living for Him. I pray that you are moving forward to share your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ with people who need to know Him. Father, the people that are listening have opportunities if they know you to share their faith with those who don't. And so I pray for them right now. You will make them usable and use them to make an impact for your glory in Jesus' name. Leimak lived 182 years and begot a son. And he called his name Noah, saying, "This one will comfort us, concerning our work and the toil of our hands because of the ground which the Lord has cursed." Genesis 5, 28, and 29, New King James Version. There we have the birth of Noah. Noah was going to be a special person in God's sight, a person whom God was going to use very significantly, and his story would be told throughout all the ages. Some would believe his story, others would dispute it, or would have serious doubts. But the story is true. And to know what happened as he was born, his father understood that he had been given the world a very special person, his son Noah. Can somebody say about you, "Oh, I know that he or she is very significant, that they will comfort us." I hope so. And I hope that the comfort will be because you are representing the Lord Jesus Christ, praying, reading his word, fellowshiping with other people who are believing in Christ, and trusting him like you do, and then telling the truth to those who need to know him. After he begot Noah, Lomik lived 595 years and begot sons and daughters. So all the days of Lomik were 777 years and he died. Genesis 5, 1331, New King James. And he died. That's how the stories end again and again. What will be on your tombstone? What will people be talking about? What will they be saying about you when you are no longer here? That you lived a life that is Christ honoring and God glorifying? Is that what they will say about you? Have you hidden his word into your heart? Are you talking with the Lord with other believers? Are you praying? Are you planning to get the gospel to people who very much need to know Jesus personally? I hope you are. I know that if you will, then great things can happen. God can make you usable and He is willing to use you to make an impact to glorify Him. Will you do that? Will you tell people about Jesus today? There are those out there waiting to hear. You can be the one to tell them. God can make you usable and use you today to further the gospel of Jesus Christ and people will be born again. And Noah was 500 years old and Noah begot Sheim, Him, and Japheth. Now it came to pass when men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born to them that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were beautiful and they took wise for themselves of all whom they chose. Genesis 5, 32 through 6, 1 and 2, New King James. Pretty ladies are attractive to lots of people. Sometimes men fell because they had been smitten. God has a way for you to live successfully. And if you are one of those beautiful ladies, be very careful and very prayerful that you don't tempt people to do things that are not pleasing to the Lord. If you are looking at beautiful females, make certain that your heart is in tune with the Lord and your mind is fixed on God. Don't give in to temptation. Read the book of Proverbs and watch how God will take care of you if you will fix your eyes on the Lord and seek wisdom from Him. There's a world out there that needs to be touched and changed and rearranged. You can do it through Christ. It's really up to you. Pray, read God's Word, fellowship with other believers and together reach out and take the gospel to those who need the Lord. Listen to Genesis 6, 3 and 4, New King James. And the Lord said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh. Yet his days shall be 120 years." There were giants on the earth in those days and also afterward when the sons of God came to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown, men of renown. Who are they who are called renown? Do you know some people who have great reputations? Sometimes when sin takes its toll, those men and even women fall. For though they were in the limelight, now they hide ashamed because of what they did or didn't do the displeased God and disappointed people. Make certain that you are reading the Word of God, that you are listening to what God is saying. Are you talking with him and asking him to make you usable and to use you? Then talk with other Christians and make sure that your fellowship factor is God-glorifying and Christ-honoring. Pray diligently for the people who need the Lord, who don't know him and who won't know him until somebody tells them. Will you be one to tell the truth today? Every Saturday at 7.27pm, you are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T, 13,000 US-41 North at Boone Building Harmony Road, midway between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport. Every first Saturday, a good news club for those in first through fifth grades is available in a separate area. For more information call 812-867-2418 or visit www.tripletchristianyouth.org. These are very crucial days for kids. Reports about girls fighting in school using brass knuckles, boys caught stealing drugs from meth labs, an epidemic of pregnancies of 11 and 12-year-olds, even a 10-year-old, 14 in one small town, and 10 in another are alarming. It's time to pray diligently and to heed God's word. See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil, therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is, Ephesians 5, 15-17, New King James. Please pray. The Lord willing will be going with the Gospel April through August to as many communities as we can. From now on all through March, we'll be praying, planning, and preparing for forthcoming evangelistic youth efforts. 2 Peter 3.9 tells us the Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come through repentance. We're training tigers. Teens involved, going, evangelizing regularly, and even some 10, 11, and 12-year-olds in pyrovangelism and adults as coaches. You are needed to really pray with us and all the other people involved in Triple T, and cowboy Lee Humokey and Darlene, because April 1 through 17, they'll be coming our way, going out across the tri-state and moving in here for Hosanna Highway, April 14, 15, and 16, just before Palm Sunday. The Teen Missions International Missionaries to America are coming and the Lord willing March 24 through June 6, and we'll be working with them in community after community during those days of opportunity. And then June, July and August comes fair share. The traveling tigers and teen missions, teens, and leaders will be taking fair share across the tri-state to Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky. You can be a tiger teammate when you pray and are willing to invest your time, talent, and our treasure. You can be a tiger teammate, encourager when you pray, and are willing to invest at least $20. Your first $20 provides a leading youth scholarship for deserving teenager. One of the world's greatest teenagers are preteens. And then by giving an average of at least $20 monthly, you can be a tiger teammate, enlarger, and an expander by giving an average of $100 or more each month. You can help get the gospel to thousands of 10 to 19 year olds through one-on-one sharing, Bible distribution, evangelistic youth efforts, and saturation of angels and public relations outreach. I've shared it before, I want to share it with you again. Every $10 can get the gospel to another 10 to 19 year old. Will you please prayerfully consider being the best tiger teammate you possibly can? We're looking forward to having you respond. Again, our telephone number is area code 812-867-2418. Repeat, area code 812-867-2418. Let us hear from you and tell us that you're going to be a tiger teammate. We're looking forward to working with church youth leaders. We just had a very special meeting with Zach Slater from Alny, Illinois, Richland County, and with Mack Dalton from Wayne County, Illinois. They are in turn going to be working with us as Lee Homoke comes back to the tri-state. Did you know that together youth and youth workers from your church can be part in this youth evangelism effort with triple T and other Bible believing churches in your community? Your youth and youth workers can be trained in peer evangelism with adults as coaches toward a tiger team impact evangelistic youth event right in your area. The next, what we call "Tiger Team Impact 3G Challenge Day" is scheduled for 11.30 a.m. on Saturday, March 19. We need to know in advance by the preceding Thursday who's coming. Scholarships are available for people between the ages of 10 and 19 and every adult that brings at least three in that age group comes absolutely free. The scholarship is $20, the total fee is $25, so only a $5 registration fee is necessary and it must be signed by the pastor or youth worker and/or the parent or guardian. And so, as I said earlier, cowboy Lee Homoke is planning to come back to the Tri-State April 1-17. He's available for several evenings for Tiger Team evangelistic youth efforts hosted by local church partners in youth evangelism. He's also going to be with us three Sunday mornings, and we're excited about this. Lee Homoke grew up on a Navajo Indian reservation in Arizona. His father, known as Nevada Steve, was an expert with ropes and whips and is a trick writer, appearing in many movies with Tom Micks and other cowboy western stars. Lee's father came to Christ and became a missionary to the Navajos. He taught his son Lee the art of roping and using whips. Lee uses his skills to share the gospel graphically and effectively. He'll be featured Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, April 14, 15, and 16 at Osia Highway at Triple T, 727 p.m. each evening. Hosanna Highway is a dramatic presentation of Jesus' triumphal entry in the Jerusalem, the trial following his betrayal, the scourging, carrying the cross to Calvary, his death, burial, and resurrection. It involves a cast of pre-teens, teenagers, and adults. You can be one of the host churches to have Lee Homoke and the Triple T team with you between April 1 and 13 for a Tiger Team Impact Event. We simply need to hear from you. You need to call us so we can see if the date that you would prefer is available. Why don't you think about the first, second, and third choice? Talk to your pastor, to your youth leader, unless you are that yourself, and call us at area code 812-867-2418. We'll do our best to work out the right date for you, the one that you prefer, either the first or second or third choice. And so, again, you need to come for the leading youth or the 3G Challenge Day on the 19th of March from 11.30 a.m. through 9.00 p.m. the rally wrap up that evening. As I said before, at least $3.20 leading youth scholarships are available to 10 to 19-year-olds from your congregation. The only requirement is a $5 registration fee and signed approval by the pastor or youth leader and signed permission by the parent or guardian of each participating youth. Lunch and an evening meal, a Tiger Team Impact Manual, and other materials will be provided. For every 3 youth who attend, complimentary coach training is available at no charge. Registration information and forms are available online at www.ttkristianyouth.org. We're looking forward to having you praying with us and becoming a Tiger Teammate and maybe even having the opportunity of hosting Lee Himoke when he comes our way, April 1-17. We're delighted that you're listening and we want you to rejoice with us. The Bible says, "Rejoice and learn always." And again, I say, "Rejoice." That's Philippians 4-4. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow was speaking about the nation, but he might well have been speaking about the church when he said, "Thou to sail on, O ship of state, sail on, O union, strong and great, humanity with all its fears, with all the hopes of future years, is hanging breathless on thy fate." We know what master laid thy keel, what workmen wrought thy ribs of steel, who made each mast and sail and rope, and anvils saying what hammers beat. In what a forge and what a heat were shaped the anchors of thy hope. Fear not each sudden sound and shock, 'tis of the wave and not the rock, 'tis but the flapping of the sail, and not a rent made by the gale. In spite of rock and tempest roar, in spite of false lights on the shore, sail on nor fear to breast the sea, our hearts, our hopes are all with thee, our hearts, our hopes, our prayers, our tears, our faith triumphant, or our fears, our all with thee are all with thee." It was my privilege to go to Longfellow School in Mount Carmel, Illinois, and I learned to respect Henry Wadsworth Longfellow because of Clara Strote, who was my fifth and sixth grade teacher. I don't know who you are or what you're thinking, but I do know this that God has a perfect plan for your life, and He wants you to get in tune with Him. We want you to know that we are here for you, and we invite you to prayerfully consider being a Tiger teammate, to help us get the Gospel of Jesus Christ to as many youth as we possibly can, as quickly as we can, as effectively as we can. So please pray and contact us right away. Thank you. Dave Breese, who founded Christian Destiny, said about those words from Longfellow. Words like that can really stir the soul. They are the essence of a message that, in my judgment, God would give to the church in our time. What I want you to consider is something that touches every one of our lives. What is the anchor of our hope? How are we supposed to react to the staggering changes taking place in a world like this? If we are born again children of God, our answer is in the Bible. And Dave says, "May I give you, first of all, the advice of Jesus Christ?" Speaking about His own in times of trouble, He said, in John 16, 32 and 33, "Indeed the hour is coming. Yes, it's now come that you will be scattered each to His own and will leave me alone. And yet I am not alone because the Father is with me. These things I have spoken to you that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. You will have tribulation. You will have tribulation." That's not even a question. That's a fact. But Jesus continues, "Be of good share. I have overcome the world." God has worked out a perfect plan for you and for me if we will trust Jesus Christ. Dave Breeze goes on and says, "Let's face it. We live in a world that is very concerned about many things. Take a look across the world. Look at Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Africa, the United States, Latin America, the Far East, or the Islands of the Sea. The name of the game in today's world is trouble. In fact, people are starting to talk about something called existential despair. That's a heavy word to describe the kind of cosmic sadness that has come on our world. Perhaps you've noticed how now more than ever the press is talking about disillusionment. You hear about the breaking of our icons and the disappearance of our values. People are wringing their hands and saying, "What about tomorrow? I'm very concerned about it." You, as a Christian if you are, and if you aren't you can be. Here's how. Admit that you've sinned. For all have sinned. You have, I have, everybody has, and fall in short of the glory of God. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God has eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Jesus said it this way, "For God so loved the world." That means you. That he gave his only begotten son that her believes in him. That's you. We'll not perish, but have everlasting life. But instead of me counting for him, if you'll confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him for the dead, you will be saved. So you, as a Christian, are advised by Jesus Christ to be of good cheer. Now if the Bible talks about anything, it talks about how Christians should be a people who are happy and rejoicing. Are you rejoicing? Do you have a piece of heart, a piece of mind? I'll repeat what I started the broadcast with in this segment. Rejoice in the Lord always. And again I say, rejoice. Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Dave Breeze continues, "Unvirtually every page of the Bible, there is justification for great rejoicing on the part of a Christian. Be of good cheer is the word that God gives to us. After all we have good reason to possess good joy. Great joy. Do we not? We are saved if we are believed in the Lord Jesus Christ. We are seated in the heavenlies with Christ. We have the presence of the Holy Spirit. We have daily fellowship with God. We can bring our petitions directly to the Creator through the privilege and the power of prayer. We live in a world that is very problematic. But we who know Jesus as personal Savior know things that the rest of the world doesn't know. We are to be anxious for nothing. We are to be filled with a historic optimism because we know what God is about to do. In fact we should be filled with bright anticipation as we watch His hand moving in our modern world. If you have watched the news in the last few hours, you know that there is turmoil out in our world. You know that there are people who are trying to figure out what to do and they don't know what to do. And they are certainly not going to the Bible for guidance and direction. They are not praying diligently asking God to give them the wisdom that He has promised for everyone who will go to Him. They are simply trying to figure out things for themselves trying to second guess and it's not going to work unless God is put in charge and in first place. So pray for our leaders that they will acknowledge the Creator of the universe, that they will go to God in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We want to hear from you. Again, we invite you to be a Tiger teammate to help us get this gospel of Jesus Christ out to a world that is in desperate need. Christ through you can change the world. Every Saturday at 7.27 p.m. you are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T, 13,000 US-41 North at Booneville in Harmony Road midway between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport.
