[music] You're listening to "Telling the Truth" from Triple T. Christian Youth Ministries, "Telling the Truth to and Through Teenagers." Here is Triple T. Founder and President George Dumes. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ in the beginning God created and procreated." And here we have the stories of what God did through the first couple, Adam and Eve. Listen to Genesis 4.25, New King James Version. And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and named him Seth. "For God has appointed another seed for me instead of able whom Cain killed." Yes, God answers prayer. God blesses abundantly. And here we have the ongoing furtherance of folk that would be significantly used of God in the days ahead. What are you doing right now to make sure that you are serving the Lord? Have you truly trusted Jesus personally? Have you believed on the Lord Jesus? Are you reading His Word? Are you praying, talking with Him? Are you fellowshiping with other believers who believe the Bible too? And are you together praying for and sharing with those folk who need to know the Lord? This is our lot in life. This is our divine destiny to share the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ while we still have opportunity. What will you do today for the Lord Jesus? Will you share your faith in Him? I hope you will. There are people out there who need to know the truth. Will you be a truth-teller? Will you be a Christian communicator? Will you be a gospel-sharer? I hope you will. You can. Pray first and there we go. The lineage continues in addition to Cain's son Enoch. Now we have something else happening. Listen to Genesis 4.26, New King James. And as for Seth, to him also a son was born, and he named him Enoch. Then men began to call on the name of the Lord. Well, that's what should happen today. Men, women, and young people calling on the name of the Lord. Teenagers, preteens calling on Jesus who will answer when we call on Him. Are you calling on Him today? Are you reading God's Word? Are you listening to what God is saying to you as you read the Bible, the inspired Word of God? Are you doing something about it? Are you fellowshipping with other believers? Are you really praying earnestly, directly, definitely for those people who need the Lord that you could reach if you would? I hope that you have not just a prayer list, but also a group of people that you are targeting to share the gospel with personally. Either inviting them to where you know the gospel will be shared and an invitation extended, or you will go to them with God's plan of salvation. Come to admit that they've sinned, to believe in the Lord Jesus, to confess Him publicly. Let them know that Jesus Christ will give them life that lasts forever. This is the book of the genealogy of Adam in the day that God created man. He made him in the likeness of God. Genesis 5-1, New King James. In the likeness of God, that's who you are, who I am. Aren't you glad that God entrusted to Moses these stories, the names of the people that first populated planet Earth? Aren't you glad that God had a divine design for you just like He did for Adam and Eve? Not only these folk, but also for all of those who followed after. He has a divine destiny, but you have to discover it. He is not going to force it on you, or on me, or on anyone. First we have to pray and ask God to show us His will, and then read His word. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. God has a perfect plan for you, and a way for you to live, and something for you to do that no one else could ever accomplish the way you could if you would do what God would have you to do for His glory. So make certain that you are drawing near to God. Make certain that you are fellowshipping with and involving yourself with other believers who believe that the Bible is totally true. And then reach out to those folk who don't know Him, Jesus. Listen to Genesis 5-2, New King James Version. He created them male and female, and blessed them, and called them mankind in the day they were created. So we have the terminology, and we have the genealogy, and we have the real history of how the whole thing began of mankind. Aren't you glad that God left a record for us to follow? I like history. I especially like to know people who did things, and who have accomplished things for the glory of the Lord. I like to trace their heritage, where they came from, where they learned how to serve the Lord, where they met Jesus, and what they did about it once they became believers. What about you? What's your story? Do you have a story? A story of what God has done, is doing, and wants to do through you? Do you know that your story is unlike that of anybody else? Your story is delightfully different, and it can be wonderful, or it can be painful. It depends on your relationship with the Lord. Make sure you know the Lord Jesus, and if you do, read His Word and pray. Pray with other believers. Pray for those folk who don't know the Lord, and then make sure that you understand God's plan of salvation. Be certain you know the Scriptures, and then share them with folk who need to know Jesus. Do you really believe? Do you believe the Bible is totally true? That it is the inspired, infallible, changeless Word of God? Listen to this story. What God did, Genesis 5-3 into King James Version, and Adam lived 130 years, and begot a son, in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth. Raising children is always an awesome responsibility. What you call a person will live with him or her, and be their mark in life as long as they live, unless he or she decides to use a nickname, or somehow change the name. What's your name? What's in your name? Where did you come from? Who were your parents? What kind of folk were they? Are you representing them well? Are you living even better than they did? Are you living successfully, representing the Lord Jesus in all that you say and do? I hope you are, and if you aren't, you can. Get it together with the Lord today. Read his word, pray, and share your faith. There are people that need the Lord, and you can be the one to lead them. Listen to the facts about the very first man, the first sinner, and the first forgiven sinner. Listen to Genesis 5, 4 and 5, in King James. After he begot Seth, the days of Adam were 800 years, and he begot sons and daughters. So all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died. It was appointed unto man once to die, and after death the judgment. Adam lived a long, long time. Today life expectancy is quite a bit shorter than that, because sin came into the world. What about you? Three score and ten used to be the normal, and now people in America are living an expectant lifestyle, and live longer, and their longevity lasts more than that. But, what are you doing with the one day you have today, and the days that may be still before you? Only one life, twelve soon be passed. Only what's done for Christ will last. What will you do with Jesus, which is called the Christ? Will you pray? Will you trust Him totally? Will you read about Him, and then will you share His story with those folk who need to know Him? Please do. If you will, people will change. Genesis 5, 8, in the King James Version, tells about what happened to Adam's son Seth. Listen. So all the days of Seth were 912 years, and he died. However many years before you die, what will they say about you? Somebody has said that it's a little line between the two dots, birth and death. It's that little dash that counts. Three score and ten, maybe less, maybe more. But what are you doing with the one life God has entrusted to you? Recently, I've been with some Christian leaders in their 70s and 80s, and one even in his 90s, all still serving the Lord, going full speed forward, accomplishing wonderful things for the glory of the Lord. God wants to make you usable, and He wants to use you too, with the one life He has entrusted to you. Take care of yourself today. Pray. Ask God to show you His will. Read His word. Do what His word says. A great beginning point for you would be Romans 12. Read that whole chapter. See what God is saying to you. Fellowship with other people that really believe the Bible. And then together, take God's plan of salvation and share it one by one. Somebody is waiting. Every Saturday at 7.27 p.m., you are invited to attend a live youth event at Triple T, 13,000 US-41 North at Boone Building Harmony Road, midway between I-64 and Evansville Regional Airport. Every first Saturday, a good news club for those in first through fifth grades is available in a separate area. For more information call 812-867-2418 or visit www.tripletchristianyouth.org. And do this, knowing the time that now it is high time to awake out of sleep. For now, our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent. The day is at hand. Therefore, let us cast off the works of darkness and let us put on the armor of light. Romans 13, 11 and 12, New King James. Every Saturday night has its own dynamic. February 12 was a surprise night featuring a Ken Anderson movie "Love Note" on the big screen. Mary provided popcorn and soft drinks for everyone in a cafe setting at round tables. The February 19 rally climaxed the Tiger Team 3G Challenge Day. Several students with guidance by the staff helped to put the program together. The shattering glow from Discover Your Destiny presented the facts of how man fell by yielding to temptation. One guy and one girl responded to the invitation and were each prayed with by teenagers who had been trained in basic or advanced peer evangelism early in the day. Please pray for them and for all who are trying to reach their friends for Christ. February 26 for students came in the afternoon to invite other youth to help prepare and produce upcoming Saturday nights. Temi led the rally and Shelly Bernard, Ken Foltz, Richard Comer, Brian Fox and Mary helped with the several different responsibilities. I was in Nashville at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention because Triple T was chosen as one of several ministries for video projects produced by students from Christian colleges. Tonight, March 5 is to be Cafe Tiger, Banana's Comedy Night with free banana splits. As we began 2011, we made a decision for 10-year-olds to be eligible to become Tigers. At the February 19 Tiger Team 3G Challenge, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15-year-olds came for peer evangelism training and adults for key youth worker, coach training and resources. Youth represented four local churches with North High School connections in Vanneberg County along with some from Gibson, Southern area and Illinois. It was a successful 3G Challenge on the 19th and the staff. Kim Foltz, Shelly Bernard, Temi, Mary and I were stretched but blessed. The next Tiger Team 3G Challenge and key youth worker training is to be March 19. Please pray for the adults and youth who will participate. Pray for Cowboy Lehomoke who plans to come April 1-17 and the Missionaries to America may 24 through June 6. Pray for doors to open widely at the right places and the right times. And pray too for fair share opportunities June, July and August for many youth and leaders to be willing to be involved. And if you would like to host Leahyomoke or the Missionaries to America, please give us a call. Area Code 812-867-2418 and we will fill you in on the details. Again that number, Area Code 812-867-2418. Temi, Mary and I were on campus at Liberty University February 21-25. We were invited to present possibilities for summer interns. The reception by leaders, faculty, staff and students was excellent. Please pray for all the plans and preparations during March for these evangelistic youth events, especially for more people willing to invest time, talent and treasure. More parents and grandparents are transporting their kids and others to and from Triple T. And Kim, Shelley and Richard continue very faithfully to bring youth every week. Team Missions International already has several teenagers and leaders that are registered to be with us for fair share. For weeks, please pray for them even more and pray for others to join us and for more traveling tigers from the Tri-State to make the commitment to serve during summer surge. It's always a delight for Mary to go with me between Saturdays and Temi too. During our time at Liberty University last week, we were blessed to be able to meet with Dr. Elmer Towns and his wife Ruth. Dr. Harold Wilmington, who's from the same hometown as Marymount Vernon, Illinois. Doug Granlet, Executive Pastor at Thomas Road Baptist Church. Lyndon Vernon Brady, and several letter folk at Liberty. We had the opportunity to share in several classes taught by Dr. Steve Vandergriff and Dr. Monica Rose Brennan. We're working with the Brady's on the My Friendship Connection Project to help hundreds of local churches across America bring thousands to hear the Gospel. Please pray. We'll keep you informed. Many are indicating their willingness to Temi to serve on the Key Council. K.E.Y. stands for Keep Evangelizing Youth. We are very grateful that James uses his talents in media for Triple T. Pray for more stations to air telling the truth daily radio broadcast. Last Monday, we held a press conference at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Nashville at the Opera Land Hotel. And we are thrilled about the connections that God made. It's thrilling to watch the Lord open doors and make connections that only he can orchestrate. We anticipate connecting and reconnecting day by day, so be very careful not to turn down any opportunity that God provides. During this time, we were privileged to be with some people in their 70s, 80s, and 90s. Jack Turney, turning 87 in just a few days. The guy that put together the spoken word of God and has recorded God's word and has sent it literally around the world and continues to do so. His daughter, Marilyn, became the president of God's spoken word or the spoken word of God just last week. Got to see Stu Epperson, who was a classmate at Bob Jones University, a friend on campus at that time working in the radio station. It was his father that allowed Jerry Falwell to buy the first radio program for Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg. Stu is now the chairman of the board of Salem Communications, the largest Christian radio network in the world. And then we were able to see Dick Bott from Kansas City, from Bott Radio Network, heard in place after place after place, they own a number of radio stations. What a delight. Then we were able to see June Hunt again. June is the sister of Helen Hunt, who came as a teenager with the top teens of Texas. And I remember Mary being so impressed with Helen because she said, "Can I help with the dishes?" Of course, most folks would not know that her father was the famous H.L. Hunt, a billionaire. But these girls met Jesus. And June is going on with a magnificent ministry and wanted a light to see her again and to pray with her. And then we saw Vannette Bright in her 80s. And she gave us a book, one to Tammy, one to me, that is kind of a biography. It's called, "In His Hands, Finding a Faith that will sustain you, encourage you, and give you hope." What a delightful lady. I was a classmate of her brother at Bob Jones and had the privilege of hearing Bill Bright before Campus Crusade had any staff as he was there recruiting students. And a fellow who was a senior when I was in my first year, said, "Yes, he would. He would try this." Gordon Klink, known that he'd try it. But now, 50 years later, he is still on staff of Campus Crusade for Christ International. And it was a privilege to be with Mr. Ollana, Art Roerheim, 93 in just a few days. Art has put Ollana around the world. God has used him immensely. And to be with his assistants, Jeff and Lynn, to get to know them, and be privileged to learn more about the beginnings of Ollana. And how God has taken this little idea that was a heartbeat of a man who had a passion for reaching people for Jesus. And then he asked Art if he would be the youth pastor of a brand new church. They called him Doc Latham, and his wife was Teach. And it was Teach that led Dave Breeze to the Lord as a 16-year-old young man, and challenged him to immediately begin to memorize Scripture, the Book of Romans. And Dave didn't know everybody didn't do this, and so he did. They went on to develop the Ollana program internationally. What a delight. What a thrill to be with these people. And then I had the opportunity to reconnect with Jack Arthur. You don't know the name Jack Arthur, probably, but if you've ever heard of K Arthur and precepts, ministries, that's her husband. And we did their rare cards as they went to Mexico as missionaries. This is just some of the highlights of people reaching people still in their 70s and 80s. As you may be aware, Triple T is celebrating 45 years telling the truth to and through teenagers. Since opening the door to just two teenagers on Saturday, February 5, 1966. Mary and I have hosted a Youth Evangelism event for 2,350 consecutive Saturdays and counting. Our daughter Tammy Lee, Triple T's Vice President is developing and directing the key action plan to keep evangelizing youth. Triple T's mission, telling the truth to through teenagers, to communicate Christianity to and through teenagers, to win them for Christ and train them for Christ. Teaching them how to share their faith through their local churches on their campuses, throughout their communities and into their world wherever God leads them in their future. The vision? Every youth to have the opportunity to hear the Gospel with an invitation to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ before He or She turns 20. There are over 41 million 10 to 19 year olds in America's 3,141 counties. Partnering with local churches in Youth Evangelism, Triple T Christian Youth Ministries and/or Impact Christian Communications are affiliates of Campus Alliance, Evangelical Press Association, Mission America, National Network of Youth Ministries, nice releases broadcasters and Youth Evangelism Association. Tammy is also President and CEO of Youth Evangelism Association, a network of aggressively evangelistic Bible believing Church-centered ministries to teenagers. September 20 to 22 to 2011. Put that on your calendar. Triple T Christian Youth Ministries and Impact are hosting YEA's annual convention and youth workers intensive training right here at Triple T. Richard F. Capen, Dick Capen, Senior Vice President of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has been invited to be the keynote speaker. Dick and Gene are from my hometown of Mount Carmel, Illinois, and God has used them to make an impact worldwide. Robert M. Bob Bland, Founder, Director of Teen Missions International, Merid Island, Florida. George Kale, Executive Director of the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Christian Performing Arts Center, formerly greater Harrisburg Youth for Christ, and I comprise the YEA Convention Task Force. Vernon Brady of Church Growth Connections has been invited to address equipping local Church youth workers. Triple T is participating in My Friendship Connection to mobilize churches for a great day of outreach November 6 to 2011, all across America. Tammy is working with me in authoring Together Toward Tomorrow, the continuing story of youth evangelism in America, decade by decade, 1931 and beyond. It's a guide to keep evangelizing youth and a look at who did what, what happened when, and what can happen by applying principles of effective youth evangelism to reach youth today and tomorrow. James, our son, produces Killing the Truth, a two-minute radio broadcast where I'm heard twice daily on VCY America Network and other stations, now being heard on 31 stations in nine states, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Johnny Truth is available without charge to any interested radio station. So if you know somebody that's not getting the broadcast and you're in that area, you can tell them that they can contact us by phone, by email, by snail mail. They can check us out on the web, tttchristianyouth.org. The broadcast is available by podcast and they can check out any broadcast and listen to it. Then they can contact James, care of Triple T, and he will in turn make all the details available to them on how they can air this once or twice every single day. We're excited because of what God has done and is doing and we want you to know that you're invited to even be with us tonight for banana splits and comedy night. We continue to have a great deal of fun working with teenagers, but the bottom line is telling them how they can come to know him whom to know right is life eternal, and you can too. Here's how, admit you've sinned, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God has eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Believe on Christ, for God so loved the world that he gave his own begotten son, their believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Confess Christ publicly. If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with a heart when believes to righteousness and with the mouth, confession is made to salvation. For more information, check the website TTTChristianYouth.org. We're looking forward to having you connect. Christ through you can change the world.
